This is a story close to home for me. My wife and I changed roles to support each other and our children while trying to get both of us through college. We had no encouragement, support, or financial help from our families. I admire Tina for what she has done and for living in both worlds. Great story Nick!
Tina is a very strong Dine' woman who is one of many Dine' that is resilient, compassionate and very friendly. Ahe' hee David for your nice comment

Thank you for watching! Part 2 goes live today, and you get an even clearer picture of just how strong she is. Definitely worth checking out!
@@Spagoshi Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I will check it out.
Tina you are a spectacular Navajo woman!! I love your enthusiasm, your positivity on life and your drive to become someone. This was a great video.
It's interesting how there are similar stories of strong women in many cultures who had a good female role model. I'm so glad you found your strength to create beauty in your life and the lives of others. Breaking generational traumas is so important. I am so surprised to learn of many Nations who have a history of violence against women.
Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This just came into my feed, but it’s interesting. I can’t wait to see the rest.
Thanks for watching! Our next video in the series will go live Sunday.
My mother's grandmother walked back when she was about 6 years old💗

Do folks at the reservations host / welcome 🌾 those from outside for a stay? Asking for me / my parents & Summer ; my puppy 🐾 I always wanted to visit but don't know any folks who are willing to host 🌼🌻 we are in Midwest cold ❄️ currently
What area are you looking to stay on the rez? Once you decide on a location, reach out to a chapter house of that area and give them a call, they may know a family who is open to that. Make sure you bring cedar or tobacco as a thank you before shares stories with you and your family. It's an act of traditional generosity.
What up Nick? If need some more content on urban injuns I’m your guy.
Ha, what's up man! Send your contact info to info@spagoshi.com

You can see enforced colonisation here in Tina Grey. Sad.
Where? Must be the Steelers coffee cup?
There's no tradition no more they say they do ,nope
Can you elaborate on this?
@@Spagoshi where in traditional or our way come being gay
@@melvinbahe6429 it's not so much being gay but born with the two spirits. It's been part of our history and has been told through passed down oral history that after a young child or baby loses their parents, a two spirit tribal member steps up and helps fill that void by playing both roles for the sake of the child.
