the first month has come and gone, i hope the new year has been treating you gently and with kindness. here i share a sentimental tradition i've kept for almost six (??) years now, pocketing memories in my journal - collecting keepsakes, trinkets, fragments of moments & musings. when i was in japan, i picked up quite a few items from the traveler's company stores and show you how i set up my new journal with brass tags, matcha & washi letter paper, handmade stamps and more.
