This is a guitar cover of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd.
Filmed and edited by me, audio edited on Cubase 7 by me.
Using my Mexican Fender Stratocaster.
I am self taught!

So true because he bends in octaves and full/half steps to make one note reach another through ergonomics. In other words it has to sound exactly like the note intended and that takes Lazer precision and focus

The timing is so perfect that you can barely tell there is the original guitar on the background. They both fit perfectly.
I think the best phrase in this song is at 5:53. You can hear the guitar actually talking. Like its telling you a story!

This song is always gonna make me cry. A hymn to a lost friend. Gone in person but not spirit. It’s the kind of expression of love that shows how much they missed Syd.

I can't even begin to imagine what the guitarist landscape is going to look like in 10 years with all these young people learning at a pace no one ever has before. Channels like this and juliaplaysgroove (another one of my favorite young musicians) prove that blues and rock can and will live on.

Perfect cover! I'm trying to relearn this again now, after having learned it over 35 years ago, and having long since forgotten it! It's not hard (for me) to PLAY - just hard to remember which parts go where!

Strange no one has noticed that there is the original Pink Floyd full song (Gimour guitar included) used as backing with the Ewan guitar over it... Love anyway the camera and the background

It's not a real cover, this is the original song with additional Ewan guitar mixed on it (at low volume)
I was probably listening to this way before you were even born wishing I could play this and trying to play it and here you are already playing way better than I ever could. Congratulations!

Maybe you can correct me, but I believe Gilmour relies on himself rather than equipment for his a lot of his sound. You nailed it so that's saying a lot!
You have to remember he's playing over a recording of Gilmour so it's naturally going to blend together a bit.
Yes I can correct you, you could use a thing called GOOGLE and maybe your brain to do the research. Gilmour uses effects up the wazzoo to get his sound. Have you seen his pedalboard?
Pierre Barrere spot on, take the backing away and you have nothing. The bends are off, no vibrato, no timing, no feeling.
