i feel the same way about buying books on kindle! some books are just meant to be read in paperback. but i usually buy any books with 500+ pages because it helps me forget how long the book is 😅
I have the exact same rules for book buying! Kobo first and I only put 5 ⭐️on my shelf. I want my shelves to be a reflection of my tastes. Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia is on there! I’ll just say, you need to get beyond the first 100 pages before you get hooked. I met too many people who gave up before reading enough lol
I also had The Secret History on my TBR pile for a while but decided to finally read it last February. Honestly, it was sometimes intimidating to read because of the long chapters and complex topics it discusses but I took that as part of the experience and I started to enjoy it and now it’s one of my most favorite books of all time.

If you haven't read fantasy fiction "Voyagers of hell" yet, I would suggest you to grab your copy. It's indeed a fresh breath in fantasy genre.

I love the Shopaholic Series from Sophie Kinsella! The funniest reads to me! I also don't know why people don't talk about this author!
i only watched a movie a long time ago, and it was fun!
great haul! the picture of dorian gray and the secret history are two of my favorites 🫶 i hope you enjoy them!

Sophie Kinsella is absolutely brilliant! ”I've Got Your Number” is my favourite, but all of her books are funny and very well written.
so i’ve heard! these comments convincing me to finally pick “remember me?” up
@@rayareadzzzz Well, ”Remember me?” was not one of my favourites, but the writing style is still brilliant.
