I think my favorite part about this is that Kevin is obsessed with making money and blissfully unaware that he can't go anywhere to spend it. Who knows, maybe a shopping catalog will wash up on shore that accepts sap and rocks as payment

He's not even thinking of sustainability. He's talking about deforestation and the lack of seeds but he's not keeping the tree seeds.. and he would do better with fertilizer made with the sap he gathered. He is even selling things like stone which is also a finite resource and could be used for many crafting recipes.. all for money that he can't spend because he's a fecking hermit XD
@@BadgerLord stone is virtually finite. But if you don't break it all, it can regrow. Plus it will grow a lot when seasons change. He might even get some copper. But not much else.
I believe that if he gets $25,000, Demetrious will come and offer to put mushrooms or fruit bats in his cave. He could be playing the long game, or he just wants money for no reason.

also using the scythe more would probably give him more seeds as well

when kevin roleplays, he never just says “ oh well, he just does that” he asks the important questions like “does this make my character stupid” and while the answer is almost always yes, i still appreciate that he asks it, every, single, time.
I mean, i think he went past the "stupidity" line quite a while ago. Now his characters are more in the "completely insane" spectre.

It’s hilarious that Kevin thinks he’s gonna get more from foraging in the other seasons, when he literally started on SPRING
technically, Summer is the most profitable foraging season. but most of them only profitable when you played on Forest Farm. there aint much he gonna get in beach farm tbh, especially since he didnt even take fishing rod. if he did an exception just to take fishing rod, doing fish trap farm is pretty profitable. Although knowing Kevin, he's probably won't continue it. It would be too boring for him doing these kinds of repetition.

Well, due to his sap diet he does his best to avoid fiber of all types, which is understandable
Fun fact: Mixed seeds are actually one of the most lucrative ways to start the game (I think It was actually *the* most lucrative, If that's wrong, someone correct It)

This is true in terms of legitimate play. There is a little exploit where you can get valuable items. But it requires you to leave the farm so wouldn't work here

When I started I immediately wondered what his end goal is. Usually it’s to grow x amount of crops, make x amount of money, or x amount of money x date, etc, but it seems he’s just. “I’m not going to leave this place. No reason. Let’s go”
The question is, why does Kevin even care about earning money when he can't leave the farm to buy anything?
Maybe he needs to earn a certain amount to get shore leave? Then he could be allowed to visit town for like one day...

I may just be here early enough for Kevin to see this, if so I just wanted to let you know that you have helped me more than you could ever imagine. I have extreme health issues and am bedbound from terrible pain and nausea most of the time. When I’m really, really sick, you are the ONLY one that can make me laugh. I’ve been watching RUclips daily for over 12 years, and average like 16hrs a day (I fall asleep to it too) and out of all my favorite channels/people you are my absolute favorite. I rewatch your videos over and over so you posting a new video every day is one of the only things I look forward to!
