These guys STILL kick ass! Def Leppard, my number one fav band!!! I see that Rick Allen is still their drummer, that's great! KEEP ROCKIN' DEF LEPPARD!!! :)
They detuned some songs like love bites, hysteria, and Have you ever needed in 93. But now all of the songs are detuned for easy singing and easier to go in and out of songs.
Sam Levin this is definitely tuned down... and that’s a GOOD thing. At his age in 2012, the repetition of singing this type of material... a lot of male singers need to adjust their vocals down in their 50s, especially hard rock vocalists. The voice changes, ages. No shame in that.
This wasn't from the tour itself this was from the promo gig at the Rock of Ages premier, so Def Leppard didn't have their stage setup. It was just a mock setup of a stage in the movie, the bourbon room or whatever.
Ну, что тут скажешь, великолепно. 35 лет назад восторгался, и сейчас. Шикарно, выше всех похвал. Музыка моей молодости. Помнит мутной воды река, где радость любила меня.
Their still my boys and yes they stood threw time and so did a lot of other great bands came back touring, I think its great because I didn't get to see a lot of them back then and now I have so I got a second chance to see the greats!
A MIS 13 O 14 AÑOS DISFRUTABA COMO NUNCA ESTA CANCIÓN CON ESTE GRAN Y ÚNICA BANDA DE. DEF LEPPARD . GRACIAS POR VOLVER A VIVIR SIEMPRE ESE TIEMPO DE SOLO ESCUCHARLOS .
I agree. I'm also factoring in all the facts. He's been singing for over thirty years, smoking, and at 53 I think it's pretty good. But I agree with you.
First concert as a kid, Def Lepperd 20 plus years ago at the Cow Palace. Had NO IDEA they were still playing or together for that matter. Wow, guessing should crawl out from under my hole. They're old now, but aren't we all. Still sound pretty good. Phil o.O
yeah that is funny LOLOLOLOL(sarcasm) I was living in the UK and actually had the chance to hang with a froend who lived in Sheffield and is related to Rick Savage, we hung with the band and went to their gigs, etc etc.
i was a bit skeptical reading this comment before I watched this video because age usually doesn't do a singer's voice any favors, but Joe actually sings this song much better compared to recordings from 5 years ago for some reason!
They did this song a week or two later in Salt Lake City. They sounded great! It was a little faster and Joe sounded better than in this video. It was a good time.
yeah, I realized that after I posted the comments and watched the video again. but even after watching the live shows posted frm early June, the stage still appears smaller than that of the last tour with much the same song lineup. I'm a huge fan and always will be, but I have to admit I've been disappointed with the past few shows that repeat most of the songs frm pyromania & hysteriaso many other great albums with songs that are rarely if ever played.
I highly doubt they need styling tips from any one..they seem to be more successful then any one here..so..might wanna just watch and enjoy the legends they are..
All this footage from this 2012 tour looks like a downgraded smaller version of the Mirror Ball tour... same stage, same opening song ("Undefeated" though still an awesome song!) but where are the backscreen videos? I'm gonna see them in Charlotte in August, and I know the music will be awesome, but I hope the visuals won't be disappointing. (Will be in front row at least!) Anyone?
They SO should have been at the London 2012 olympics as part of best of British, and Undefeated would have fitted perfectly! Undefeated should have been one of the main themes used throughout the event.
Joe is fine as he is... he has back problems and he is middle aged as we all are who loved Leppard from the beginning... we are not going to look at 53 the way we did at 23... give it a rest- and the whole "becoming very old" ...they are not "very old" my gods- look at The Stones! those guys are old... and they still rock
His voice in the upper range is going here, but it can't be avoided due to age and his vocal style with all the rasp. It's nice that he is still to this day singing without dropping octave levels in the songs. Aging sucks though!
Yea I believe he stopped smoking in the early 2000's. And Joe sounds pretty fucking great here for 53 and screaming for 30 years. 5 years ago he's voice was shit pretty much, now he has gotten in back into great shape imo
Where were these guys at the Olympics? They are like British Rock Gods...Instead they got the Spice Girls and One Direction? Yeah they had the WHO but they are not the same since Keith and John Died. They needed Def Leppard!
These guys STILL kick ass! Def Leppard, my number one fav band!!! I see that Rick Allen is still their drummer, that's great! KEEP ROCKIN' DEF LEPPARD!!! :)
lead voice is still bringing it, on time, on pitch, and excellent timbre when so many of his peers have lost the range in their singing voices.
+John B. Mull yes, look at dave mustaine
Mustaine still has his weird ass voice. He played great when I saw them in 2016.
I respect Joe for not dropping the song down a step or a half step and keeping in key after all these years.
It's been down a half step since at least 96
They detuned some songs like love bites, hysteria, and Have you ever needed in 93. But now all of the songs are detuned for easy singing and easier to go in and out of songs.

U Said the same comment twice dude!!!
This wasn't from the tour itself this was from the promo gig at the Rock of Ages premier, so Def Leppard didn't have their stage setup. It was just a mock setup of a stage in the movie, the bourbon room or whatever.

That crowd was even born when def came to be, they were born around 20+ years later,.
I noticed that
Joe got the voice..
Band got the works..
Great up Pour ty..
MAN A SONG WHAT A ROCK GROUP STILL LUV HEARING THEIR SONG - KEEP ON Def Leppard
They have held up well through the decades . Glad they are still performing . No fooling .
Still can't make a decent album after Andrenalize
Their still my boys and yes they stood threw time and so did a lot of other great bands came back touring, I think its great because I didn't get to see a lot of them back then and now I have so I got a second chance to see the greats!
One of my favorite song 💛💛💛💛
J adore def
Age is such a downfall we are slower , fatter but in our hearts we still rock and move like we are 22 yet again ..... long live rock
Born in January 1988, good chance I was conceived to one of these songs.
Ummm the song came out in 81 but I suppose it’s possible.
A MIS 13 O 14 AÑOS DISFRUTABA COMO NUNCA ESTA CANCIÓN CON ESTE GRAN Y ÚNICA BANDA DE. DEF LEPPARD . GRACIAS POR VOLVER A VIVIR SIEMPRE ESE TIEMPO DE SOLO ESCUCHARLOS .
In my opinion Vivian deserves a lot more space in this band.... Apart from that a real good performance from Joe, I'm happily surprised!
SEEEEEEE..ROCK WILL NEVER DIE....I AM SO SORRY I MISSED THIS TOUR
My all time def leppard song
Learn of this...!!!! You little boys of new generations...
Saw them in Portland Oregon open up for Pat Travers and Blackfoot...they owned the stage !
Look at Phil! A shining example of you are what you eat!
Vegan, and an unbelievable monster of a guitarist!
Wao mi grupo preferido!
I love them!!!
Must be nice. I have never been to a concert. I love music though.
It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth saving money for if it's for a band you really enjoy. I hope you get to go to one someday. :)
It's the best, try to go
It’s 6 years later. Did you ever get to go to a concert yet?
love love love
I agree. I'm also factoring in all the facts. He's been singing for over thirty years, smoking, and at 53 I think it's pretty good. But I agree with you.

Awesome group always thought so
yeah that is funny LOLOLOLOL(sarcasm) I was living in the UK and actually had the chance to hang with a froend who lived in Sheffield and is related to Rick Savage, we hung with the band and went to their gigs, etc etc.

I'll be there tomorrow night toooooo! Not near the front this time around though.
I love this song but this version seems a little slow.
They're sooOOO Good I couldn't even tell it was from 2012!!!
i was a bit skeptical reading this comment before I watched this video because age usually doesn't do a singer's voice any favors, but Joe actually sings this song much better compared to recordings from 5 years ago for some reason!

Great band!
One off my favorite out of the promania album
Of course it is. But it is unfortunate that their audio DVDs have no studio work. Urgently needed
You rock keep it rolling.
if i remember right , not sure if it was said yet,, but he went through vocal surgery.. had to heal ,, but he sounds great here !!!!!!
Damn I'm the first to comment?! Joe sounds fucking incredible!!! Can't wait for both Atlanta and Charlotte shows! It's gonna be AWESOME!

They did this song a week or two later in Salt Lake City. They sounded great! It was a little faster and Joe sounded better than in this video. It was a good time.
What is wrong with that crowd? Are they alive?
+A. Hawkins The new generation. Only like shit music.
+johnabuick I'm 13 and like this song so you just called it shit
Well no, I would never call Def Leppard shit so I guess you must appreciate real music too. I take back what I said in your case.

The audio on this clip is mono and sounds very compressed. Does anyone know if the broadcast was in stereo?
yeah, I realized that after I posted the comments and watched the video again. but even after watching the live shows posted frm early June, the stage still appears smaller than that of the last tour with much the same song lineup. Phil is hot!! Joe is Beautiful.

LOVE VIVIAN CAMPBELL...omg
lo tocaron en Sao Paulo...
:) great song *o*

Rick Allen is the youngest Leppard bud. He was 16 when he joined Def Leppard.
14*
His voice in the upper range is going here, but it can't be avoided due to age and his vocal style with all the rasp. It's nice that he is still to this day singing without dropping octave levels in the songs. Aging sucks though!
He sounds great
Is it just me or does this song seem to be dragging? Usually live versions are a bit faster. But sounds pretty good just the same.
👏👏👍🏻👍🏻♥️
That crowds dead
Why the crowd so dead?
thought the same, maybe bought it on tradetang :)
Joe is so handsome!
Фил Коллин в хорошей форме физической 👍
Great music small crowd :(
👄👄👄👄👄💗💗💗

This crowd didn't even know what they were witnessing
he also trains nonstop
Fuck, Joe can still sing good after like 30 years. Great performanceXD
rip steve
About 50.
You mean oldest
I like me watch video of hard rock
Where were these guys at the Olympics? They are like British Rock Gods...Instead they got the Spice Girls and One Direction? Yeah they had the WHO but they are not the same since Keith and John Died. They needed Def Leppard!
Need to turn Phil up.
hahahahahahahaha... I agree!!!!
I like it BUT , it sounds like a vinyl recording that is slowed down just a bit too much. I would expect more from this band.
They always played this song very slow. As for the tuning, it's easier on the vocal cords than the original.
Phill is the best guitarist around
