The thing I love about the witcher is despite the fact it is set in medieval times, with fantasy monsters. The witcher 3 tends to act like a scientific crime investigation but without lab equipment.
Most of the Witcher side quests are so good, you could put them all on a board, throw a dart and where ever that lands you'll have yourself some good fodder for a quality video like this. If I was requesting any, it'd be that very first monster contract you take on - the Devil by the Well. It's short enough you could maybe do a series of monster contracts in the same video. Not sure why I love that contract so much, but it's so good at telling a complete story in a compact area with very little to go on. Anyway, great content, looking forward to more.
I recommend you guys try it out! I've never been a fan of monsters and magic and stuff until I got that game about a year back. Some of the mechanics seemed overwhelming at first but if you feel like they just ignore that entire thing until you're ready. Like I never used the oils and stuff for quite some time but in the end it was all good. I didn't finish it simply because it's a massive game BUT it's not full of garbage. It's legit guys like I said I was never a fan of that entire genre until I played the witcher 3, I totally vouche for it. You can also get the dlc with it in a bundle for pretty cheap like the guy above said. Give it a shot!
I remember someone bringing up a problem with this quests story. If the killer was indeed a “higher vampire” as stated, there is NO WAY even Geralt would have been able to kill him. Detlaff was a higher vampire, and it took both Geralt and Regis to beat him
i love the format of this! perfect mix of cutscenes with dialogue, summarising certain parts, and great visuals where necessary when speaking! the flow was really nice in this video - thank you! subscribing and hoping to see more from you!
I was tricked by this quest for years because i wanted the Reverand gone regardless, until I happened upon a video on the quest and realised my mistake
Loved this video! Absolutely amazing as always! Would love to see a Witcher video on the following subjects (as I feel they would fit your style very nicely) Gaunter O’Dimm, The crones of crookback bog, all the vampire stuff in Blood and Wine and the “Werewolf’s in the village in Blood and Wine
It’s fitting to dive into some Witcher content seeing how CDPR announced the Witcher 4 has entered full development, which means we could be 3-4 years away from seeing and playing the game barring any hiccups in development
Yeah I thought it might be a shout to do some videos the way I know best rather than just cover the non-news that a game we already knew was in development is in fact in development.
Yesyesyes please do more Witcher content, adored and watched every Red Dead video and loved the detail and research put into each and felt there wasn't enough content like that about the Witcher and it's world and of course the incredibly deep secrets. Can't wait to see you cover more of this world!!!!
I saw this and thought when were you making Witcher 3 stuff? Until I saw you just dropped it. I love your videos, I could get use to this if you choose to continue making more!
Never actually saw what happens if you don’t pick the the right options and think Nathaniel was the murderer despite having seen and played this game so much, quality video, will always check out some Witcher content from you good sir
Granted it's been quite a few years since I've played witcher 3 but for the life of me I do not remember speaking to that woman @25:25.....I do remember doing this quest tho. *scratches head
This quest has the proper twist ending. It seems so straightforward that it would be the religious nut guard, but when you find out it's the coroner, who is actually a vampire, you can't see how you missed all of those clues. I screwed it up the first time myself, and was so annoyed that I loaded a previous save, even though I was had lost hours worth of progress. It was all worth it, though.
Yooo, this is perfect timing I just started a new game plus, i remember I got the bad ending for this quest. I always found this quest most interesting.
Yeah dude who hasnt aged in years is supiscious as hell. I know this is fantasy and all but the second that was mentioned straight to the top of the list! Anyway really thrilled to see if im right or wrong.
Cheers for that, Fizhy. Now I feel the necessity to push yet another full playthrough of the Witcher 3, what a shame 🤷♂️😂 Love to see it, Witcher content is always welcome
Yay thank you! I love the Witcher stuff. Wish we'd gottne more of the music as well, but I figured you maybe ewanted to try to avoid copyright. wasn't sure that was athing, since Neon Knight seems to use it, but idk. Still really good and always like your narration.
Copyright for game music is a mixed bag really but usually it pans out in the RUclips creator’s favour so I can probably try to incorporate more Witcher music in future instalments in this new series
ohhh yeah love a good fantasy game murder mystery. Witcher 3 has some nice investgational quests, with decent and engaging writing. Thanks for the reminder, Fizhy :D I couldn't quite remember how this quest played out but I am pretty sure I did it right. Decently written fiction tends not to have the obvious answer be the correct one.
I recently started playing TW3 for the first time this year and it has been amazing. So many crazy details and love put into this game. Thanks for covering it! Btw does anyone know why Priscilla was the only victim not to be killed?
...Every time I pick a game back up, Fizhy comes in with the deep dives with suspicious timing. He started doing RDR 2 like a week into me and my wife replaying it and the DAY after I pick up Witcher 3, because she loves the universe and I never finished this one before, here he comes with Witcher content...that's some sus timing lmao
@@Shadowball19 people say that but I fired it up not terribly long ago and as I was driving along a parked car still spawned in right in front of me forcing me to crash.
I know this video isn't about this but I'm still really salty about Witcher 3's shitty combat system, it's just so bad. Don't get me wrong the games world is gorgeous and feels so alive, the story is great and exploration is extremely fun but the combat is utter shit, it's boring, repetitive and just plain lazy AF, which just make it so much worse that they put all this effort into everything else but phone it in on arguably the most important aspect of the game. It's not an exaggeration to say Every Single fight is exactly the same there's no experimentation needed to find out what will work and won't work, there no combo attacks it's just spam quick or heavy attack and dodge. Every single fight can be cheesed with quick attack and dodge just rinse and repeat that and you can beat every enemy in game, whether it's humans, monsters or the wild hunt. How is that supposed to be even remotely fun, there's no challenge to it besides arbitrarily inflated levels which still really don't mean anything, an example of this is the level 27 Chort in White Orchard, I didn't know about the Bovine Defense Force and I ran into it while I was level 6 and smoked it without taking a single hit on normal difficulty using fire to stun it then quick attack and dodge in less than a minute of combat. I shouldn't have been able to beat that thing, at least not that fast it should've been a drawn out slog of a fight for a level 6 player but it wasn't. It was so easy I was able to continually farm it as it respawns when you fast travel out of White Orchard and back. I spent however long farming it till I was level 11 before starting the Novigrad missions. Again I loved everything else about the game it's damn near flawless but the combat was a gigantic let down and is exactly why I quit playing at like 90+ hours in.
As much as I love this game, and this general storyline, this quest is a very good example of this game’s unbearable hand-holdy quest design. Every bit of info is told directly straight to you instead of being deduced, and it’s full of the usual witcher sense inspections.
It's actually wild that someone would have such a take about a witcher 3 quest, especially this one. I always say i respect different opinions, but this one is just odd
Branching out into some Witcher content never hurt anybody. Hope you all enjoy
Everything's better with more Witcher (games).
finally i was hoping you’d make more witcher content
As long as it's the games ... or books... I'm here for it. Fuck Netflix tbh. Look how they massacred my boy
@Pr0digyZRX Wasn't just Geralt sadly, it was everyone else 😓
Dunno if you've played it, but Dragon Age 2 has a serial killer quest line with a very similar feel to this one, you might like it!
Witcher content? Let's gooo!
Oh aye
Please put this in regular rotation, I haven’t been excited for new videos in a long time until I found your channel

Will I still watch this full video? Yes.

imo, the greatest game of all time. crazy how content can still be made about it. glad you’re still doing it
One of the best quests. Good escalation, dark, mysterious and gaining personal stakes. Plus a great twist and fight at the very end.
Never expected a Witcher video by Fizhy! Awesome analysis! Greetings from the country that made Witcher!
2:56 perfect time for flutes
Jovial tavern music while we hear some heart-sinking news about a beloved friend
Hell yeah! Fizhy and the Witcher 3?! Day just got made

This is one of my favorite quests in the game. Glad to see you covering it
watching this so attentively as if i havent played this game for like more than 2000 hours
I like your lore videos on all your stuff man keep it up.
brilliant!! More witcher 3 please!
Thoroughly enjoyed this really hope to see some more Witcher videos from you.
Yoooo my favourite RUclipsr is now covering one of my favourite games!❤
This was brilliant and the witcher has so many mysteries and the likes that its perfect for this channel. Excited to see more to come.
Any suggestions?
@@Fizhy there's so many good choice but the bloody baron quest would be a good one. Decent amount of meat to chew on with that one.
I just recently played through the Witcher 3! Such an incredible masterpiece
Oof that white transition just flashbanged me at 2 in the morning 😭😭
Love your videos bro keep up the good work

Cheers for that, Fizhy. Now I feel the necessity to push yet another full playthrough of the Witcher 3, what a shame 🤷♂️😂
Love to see it, Witcher content is always welcome
More to come!
only thing better than Fizhy Skyrim content is Fizhy Witcher content
Awesome content
tasty tasty w3, timeless.
... also that discord disconnect around 10:30ish had me checking mine despite not being in a call
LOL same
Think I was streaming the game to a mate on discord and his connection went fucky. I have observational aid at times, so to speak
Easily one of the greatest games of all time
when fizhy uploads I know it’s going to be a good day 😌
Would love to see more Witcher content
10 years of content with this game
Love some Witcher content!
hope witcher 4 keep interesting, mysterious quest like this!
Yesssss more Witcher lore please! 🙏
Yes sir
29:01 Geralt was wrong for that 💀
THANK YOU FOR DOING WITCHER CONTENT

great video on one of the best missions on one of the best games, alas tarnished by a horridly clashing outfit on gerardo
I have a rule, always have no more and no less than one thing that reliably pisses people off on display.
Witcher 3? MORE PLEASE
About damn time we got some of that sweet CDPR lore on this channel (FromSoft next????)
Please more Witcher content 🙏
Finally, some good fucking food.
I recently started playing TW3 for the first time this year and it has been amazing. So many crazy details and love put into this game. Thanks for covering it!
Btw does anyone know why Priscilla was the only victim not to be killed?
Presume the killer was interrupted before he could really get much out of her.
Oh hell yeah
Witcher 3? OH HELL YEAH
More of these Witcher 3 vids pls
Yessir
Just gave me a will to live
Noooooise! I hoping for more witcher content, maybe cyberpunk?
There’ll be more Witcher stuff to come. As for Cyberpunk, I’m not its greatest advocate even now if you get me
Me as an Archer fan:
“Why did you put that much Ephesus on Serial……”
omfg I just played that quest today
Never knew that the coroner was the actual killer
To this day this is the best game I've played....just my own personal opinion.
It’s up there for me.

I am in your walls
werid how you didnt talk about the fact it called itself a higher vampire while it was a lower one
fizhy what armor set is that (love the video btw)
Honestly, Fizhy could make a Lore video on Hedges and Lawns and I'd make a brew, grab some biccys and tune right in
Go go go a coin for the Witcher
joachim von gratz is such a cool guy, his name is cool af
Have you ever considered some ES: oblivion quests?
Im gonna reinstall W3 because of this vid. Excellent job
I have a habit for doing this to people. Enjoy!
It would've been more interesting if the serial was just a human. Being a vampire feels like the easy path
Would u ever make some cyberpunk lore vids if u havent already?
I’ll never say never but I have to admit I’m not a massive Cyberpunk fan
@ awe too bad the game is fixed and fun now and full of cool and scary lore but i understand not being a fan
