Good reaction and welcome to the Babymetal galaxy. You asked how many people were there, that was Saitama Super Arena and that was 20,000 people all singing along. This was early in 2015 so Su-metal (the lead singer) was not long turned 17, Yuimetal and Moametal were 15. Just a year/18 months later they sold out Tokyo Dome (55,000 people) two nights running.
I'm glad you liked it and you're planing to do more Babymetal reactions - I will say you're unlikely to find many more of their songs that sound quite like this. They are one of the most innovative bands I've ever seen in many years of listening to good rock and metal and other genres and nearly every song they do is different to every other song. The play virtually every genre of metal but mix in countless other musical styles and genres and somehow it works every time.
They are one of the best live acts around (and have won international awards that say the same thing among another 30+ awards) and are supported in all their live shows by the Kami Band (who you saw in this one) made up from the best session musicians Japan had to offer. They have been with them since 2012 starting off playing the encores in some shows until in early 2014 they finally started playing for the entirety of all their live shows. Having said that Babymetal was formed and developed around Su-metal with her outstanding vocal abilities and talents even though she was only 12 when they started in 2010.
For something different try their official video for the song 'Karate' I would normally recommend live performances every time for Babymetal, but that music video is a work of art and the song is not at all like 'Road of Resistance'.

Glad you chose this one to react to, it really shows how much they shine in live performances.
I used to tell people this was in front of a sold-out crowd of 20,000 at Saitama Super Arena.
Apparently, I was mistaken.
I've been assured that with this configuration, the venue holds 22,000. : )
Although their biggest shows so far were at Tokyo Dome with 55,000 per night over two nights.
It looked you appreciated the singing, the choreography, the music and the stage setup.

Ever saw ANY other band that burns down the hall like they do? Crowd control, energy and skills on another level. Normally after watching 2 or 3 songs you'll get addicted (in a very positive way). Every song is different and they cover lots of styles. Enjoy your BM journey!

My daughter flew my wife and I up to Seattle last October so she could take me to see BabyMetal. Much smaller venue but still such a great show. So much fun.
BabyMetal is Kawaii Metal. It’s fresh, clean and positive. At the show in Seattle there were kids of 8 or 9, all the way up to ancient metal heads like me. 🤘

They had been performing for over an hour prior to this, can you tell? At this point as a Metal Magazine Publisher said "They the most most famous Japanese high school students in the world." 2020 is their 10th year anniversary, today Su is 22 and Moa is 20. Last year they sold-out the LA Forum.
They have toured with Metallica, Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Lady Gaga. Think about following them after their set.

BABYMETAL has been selling out venues and proving haters wrong since 2012 when they were just 13-15 years old and they are still going strong today!
I love the call and responses from BABYMETAL, whether it's on Megistune, Karate, Distortion, or Road of Resistance. There is nothing like a BABYMETAL crowd.
