Dragon Ball GT Ending 1 - You're Not Alone (English Vocals With Japanese Broadcast Instrumental)

- An edit of the first ending song for Dragon Ball GT, otherwise known as "Hitori Ja Nai", which features a fanmade instrumental of the original Japanese broadcast audio combined with an acapella of the English version, which was performed by Stephanie Nadolny as part of Funimation's Green Bricks DVD release.
Background:
Just another little edit that I thought I would share. I actually made an unreleased edit of this a while ago using my Hitori Ja Nai instrumental video that I created in 2020 but I was not happy with the quality of it. Too much of the Japanese vocals leaked through so I attempted to create an updated version. I will go into much greater detail on the process behind creating the instrumental in a future video as I plan to release it separately. The acapella of Stephanie Nadolny's voice was ripped straight from the 5.1 audio of the Green Bricks. The majority of the vocals come from the centre/mono channel, but to improve the quality I extracted some of the stereo reverb from the front channels and mixed it in with the mono version. It's an effect that most people probably won't notice but in my view it sounds much better than simply using the centre channel audio. I did not have to do much editing after this as the vocals already sync perfectly with the Japanese music.
I've included a download link in the description for those who want the acapella on it's own. I've also provided a link to download a video that featured this track synced with the actual ending of the show, which I got from here: • Video Toei don't really allow such things to be kept on RUclips hence why I have a uploaded a still image instead of this. Now the actual thumbnail was created using an image that I found online that I thought looked really cool, I don't know much about the artists only that they are likely Japanese. Here is the source: www.pixiv.net/...
Also this is the first time in a long while that I have posted two videos in the same month, hope you all like the more frequent uploads :)

I was once convinced
I had no time for friends
That all I’d ever need was me
But then I changed my mind
Because I came to find
How lonely life could really be
Now I’ve spent so much time
Just trying to figure out
What my purpose is in life
I don’t know what to do
I try to talk to you
No answers only silence
But I promise you don’t have to hide
All the feelings you have inside
Because you’re not alone
I am here
And I want to share my dreams with you
All my life I’ve been searching for answers
And now my purpose is with you
We live together as one
Joined by love
There is nothing to be afraid of
Just have the strength to fulfill all your hopes and dreams
And remember that I’ll be here
Standing right by your side
Thanks! You really made my Day!
Thank you for the lyrics 😊
RIP TORIYAIMA
We'll miss you
I thought the English vocals were bad but really they were just brought down by the score. This version works way better
The instrumental for these offical English songs sounds like the Japanese one on it's deathbed
I love this song. It's very calming to me!
And Peaceful

DBZ will always be cherished..
@@AbbacchioUzumaki_77 yes it always will be
This song inspired me.
You gonna be doing these for the rest of GT endings? I like the English versions of them a lot, so I'd be down for more
I might do Sabitsuita Machine Gun but not sure about the other two endings as the broadcast audio that I have for them is in a pretty bad quality. It would be possible just not as good as the attempt in this video.
@@Dragon-Ball-Legacy That's a shame, but Sabitsuita Machine Gun is an awesome ending so even just that is wicked
@@zoltier Actually funnily enough I've been doing some research into finding better quality audio and have actually just found lossless quality broadcast audio that someone released a few months ago. It's even in stereo form so what you are asking for may be possible for all the endings after all. I might update my older instrumentals as well.
@@Dragon-Ball-Legacy Oh wow lol, that was quick. Looking forward to it if you do go through with all of them
Could you do Dan Dan Kokoro English vocals with Japanese Instrumental??
Sounds like an idea. Might do so in the future.
Te quedó fantástico amigo
Sounds pretty good, though as a fan of the original Japanese band DEEN, I wasn't a fan of the English lyrics because they don't match the Japanese as well as they could have. Even still, this was a nice song to listen to. Rest in peace, Toriyama
This outro is the best lol
Essa faz escorrer uma lagrima 😢 😊
It's beautiful like the Spanish version
Alright but can you do it the other way? (English instrumental Japanese lyrics?)
Trunks is so cutee 😍 💖
El doblaje americano no es malo todo fue culpa de los corporativos 0:
Stephanie Young sings this, not Nadolny
Yeah, it was Towa who sang this, not Kid Goku
AMEI!! ❤❤❤
Kid goku sung this? Lol
Was this really his voice actor??

Depends what it is
@@Dragon-Ball-Legacy the ost is from naruto storm 4 when he was talking to obito...I really love that ost bro just do that 1 favor please
@@classicanimania5471 I only really do Dragon Ball related stuff my guy, I don't know the first thing about Naruto or its tracks. I'm sure there are people that actually follow the show on sites like Reddit, RUclips etc. that would be much better qualified to rip the track that you are talking about than me.
@Life I don't have any copies of the Ocean dub DVDs so I don't have access to that type of audio unfortunately.
