- Funskool is India’s largest toy manufacturing company. Conceived in 1986 as a joint venture* between the Madras Rubber Factory (MRF) Group, and Hasbro Inc., Funskool began commercial operations in 1988.
Funskool has three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The first one at Corlim, Goa is spread over a sprawling area of 1,50,000 sq. ft. The second and third factories are at Ranipet, near Chennai, and have a built up area of 90,000 sq ft and 55,000 sq ft respectively.
#Funskool pioneered the concepts of quality and safety in toys and has been instrumental in raising the standards of toys in India.
*The joint venture with Hasbro Inc. was terminated in 2014.

The place where I always dreamt of visiting during my childhood. I had many G.I.Joe figures and vehicles once. Used to play with my friends here in Assam.

They don't have the molds any longer, nor the GI Joe licence. Only have modified VAMP mold as far I can tell since they are still using it.

I seriously hate the fact that funskool has discontinued the production of gi joe.

Yes but Funskool kept the line running till 2010 while Hasbro gave up on 1994. Sadly, all good things comes to an end.
