    Everything fine except price.

    I test drove the car last year & it was amazing. The driving was smooth and the ventilated seats kept my back cool.
    My issues with the car: The car is smaller compared to the LC200 series, the price is high (especially the sports model), lack of exterior and interior color options compared to competitions (nissan patrol has more options in this case) the design from the back feels boxy and for the price they expect us to pay, I expect more in terms of luxury (ex: a Nissan Patrol for the same price has leather embrodery patterns on the seat.

    A vehicle with more caveats than before. Wonder what Toyota was thinking when they were pricing it 😂

    alfuttaim selling to grey market dealers who are selling for 60000 dirhams above retail price and taking a commission on that. whenever i ask alfuttaim they say that they have no stock...like every single time

    Way overpriced... One seat less and way less space in general than the LC200. Only improvement I see is the engine and transmission. And yeah it still has the horn from the Yaris.

    • @IsmailAlansari
      @IsmailAlansari 2 года назад +5

      I think you are being too harsh, its true the it has one less seat on the third row but the seats are flat foldable.. I'll take that everyday.. it's not an easy implementation for a car that has an old school rear differential and a spare tyre underneath. The dimensions inside the car on paper are almost the same. The Lc300 feels slightly smaller due to other trade offs like pushing the engine and the transmission slightly to the back made the front dashboard panel wide. In return, you get better suspension articulation and riding comfort. Same with the side panels, note that the car has better nose cancellation features like double glass windows and other stuff. Overall the car is better than the LC200 in almost every aspect especially at the off-road capabilities which is the main purpose and key selling point. I have been driving the LC200 for the past 10 years and have done more than 250k kms and I have recently tested the LC300 and let me tell you.. it makes the LC200 obsolete.. the price is something that I would agree with you.. LC is always overpriced unfortunately even in the 2nd hand market

    I hate polished reviews like yours. what power are you taking about? everything in this car is old comparing to competition, just because they gave you the car for free to try that doesn’t mean you have to lie to the customers

  • @shajiwahab
    @shajiwahab 2 года назад +1

    What is the competition for this car and trim? I guess it is the Nissan Patrol in this region (not sure which trim). But how does it compare to the LC300? Any first hand experiences to share?

    • @YallaMotorEnglish
      @YallaMotorEnglish  2 года назад +2

      Yes, for us here in the region the main competitor will always be the Nissan Patrol and I think it'll be the Patrol LE Platinum CITY as a trim specifically in this case as it is the most city-oriented Patrol.
      Now when it comes to performance and reliability you can't go wrong with either, I only think the Toyota did a better job refreshing the interior in terms of quality, functionality, and design.
      I hope this helps answer your question.

      As an owner of this vehicle- My views are that this car is better in terms of performance and comfort compared to LC200 ( my previous car) but i do sometimes feel that the back seats do eat up a lot of space. I miss the split tailgate found in the LC200 but overall drive quality and comfort is better than the Lc200 and the nissan patrol.

    Very overpriced. Infotainment and tachometer outdated and same as cheaper models in Toyota. Many options missing from other midsize to big SUVs. So yeah it is a great car but the price is not justified.

  • @dogshit965
    @dogshit965 11 месяцев назад

    The car is good but im concerned of the reliability of the new engine since it has less displacement, turbo chargers and more power which can put more strain on the engine. I guess we’ll have to see what happens!
