the thing with $b is that their flows also keep the song interesting they constantly switch up voices and flows n shit and it's crazy so it also is the artists responsibility to keep the song interesting
You are absolutely insane. Every video is a banger. The fact you recreate so many of these artists melodies perfectly just for like 15 seconds if the video when other creators milk a melody recreation into a 10 minute video shows how dedicated you are to putting out legitimately great content. Keep it up
this video means so much to me bro ty I just started producing a week ago as a hobby and ppl keep telling me I'm really good for a beginner, scrims style is inspiring my sound cuz $b saved my life so ty for this tutorial
3 things to say : 1. i seen all the $b tutorial out there and this one rlly represents them the best 2.this feels like it could be prod by scrim 3. man your explications are so clear i think i watched the video 10 times already
Honestly the best tutorial on $uicideboy$ beats I’ve seen, I’ve watched all them and they are all a generic 36 sample with a very bad melody and the same free drum kit. You went very in-depth with this tutorial and I appreciate that, the final outcome of your beat fire too.
i produce a lot of my own songs and ive been focusing on g59 type beats lately, id say i havent been doing too bad so far but i wouldve never thought about scrim using nexus, so im getting it right now thanks to you, keep on making these videos, they can be helpful!
Idk how much it would help your SEO but maybe try out writing in the title that these are "detailed tutorials" "detailed break down" or even writing "[X song] breakdown". I want your channel to grow because you are offering the info I think a lot of newer producers want to know. Hope it helps, and thanks for this one dude.
Dude, noice! I’ve redone a few of their songs just to try and got damn close, but it’s cool to know what VSTs he’s specifically using and some of the fx techniques. Mount Sinai goes in hard as fuck by the way. Cool tutorial!
You’re like a super Saiyan sound geek, like saying “these are the packs Skrim uses” very forward and you can clearly see the passion behind your monotone delivery which for some reason makes your videos more easier to focus to vs Someone acting goofy... hmmm very good I shall subscribe and wish you the best sir
i just found your channel a few days ago. i feel like a lot of youtubers might make good beats, but they dont explain why they are doing what they are doing. you explain in detail everything instead of just this is what i did type stuff, your videos are incredibly helpful bro, thank you! also, do you plan on doing any "fixing my subscribers beats" type videos?
Hey man just wanted to thank you for The link to the kit, i have a couple $$B kits from reddit and this is the best one by far! I really enjoy your tutorials, straight to then point and your not trying to sell us anything haha ✌️
Great video keep em up! Really good for a range of experience of producers. Do black notes really give off a darker vibe tho? I have never heard about it and I'm curious
yeah for sure, try looking up on google the scale and bpm of a bunch of dark melodic beats. Stuff from suicide boys, or metro boomin for example and you'll notice most of them are in these scales.
@@Finnathegod It actually doesn't have anything to do with the number of black keys, though they do tend to use them often. That vibe can be transposed in any other key signature. What's important is to make sure of when transposing is that the key you transpose it to is minor, (or major depending on the music, $uicideboy$ 99.9999% of the time write in a minor key) and that they are in the same "mode" as they call it in traditional composition. I think they probably stay with in the keys of Bb/A#, Eb/D# & G#/Ab because (a) its fairly simple to use (b) Its kind of unique because other people rarely use key signatures with so many sharps/flats (c) the sweet spot on the sub bass begins somewhere around Eb and falls off usually in the G#/Ab area and (d) though I couldn't tell you what mode most of their stuff is in, I can tell you that their songs will likely always follow a "Harmonic Minor" scale and basically to keep it short, those scales do utilize the black keys more often but its only because of their relativity to the root of the key signature. However if the root happens to be one of the black keys that means the white note directly under it will be what gives the song tension. Apologies for such a long ass comment, and its really not that big of a deal that people think of the white/black keys this way.. ultimately what matters is if it sounds good, not all the terminology and other technical shit. Everything that I know from being a classically trained musician/composer really ain't got shit on having a surgically precise ear and a natural feel for modern music. So yeah, Imma shut the fuck up now. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
In my head: Okay I think I got everything to get started on my first beat In the music program: *stares at screen for 5 minutes pressing random buttons* Okay now how do I get started?

Very true. Reminds me of a simple beat like New Freezer that allowed Kendrick to go insane
Thanks for saying it

The difference between them is their mixing and mastering are on point way different from others.

thank you so much for these tutorials, i can tell you put a lot of time and effort into these because your deconstructions are always so identical!!
np, they do take a surprising amount of time, so I'm glad it's recognized.
Bro that beat is so fire after u put in the effects I was like 😱
holy fucking shit this is so accurate i love this. its really better than all of the other "how to suicideboys" videos. really interessting
I appreciate how this video is structured. Like I can follow along because you have talking points and anything I don't know I can look up

youre a blessing from the youtube algorithm!
