How dare you throw shade at that whetstone. Without those two upgraded strikes, there’s no way you clear either the first Hexaghost or the Champ. Guaranteed there’s at least one other hallway fight too in which you just edged the enemy out with 3 extra damage from one of those strikes before they could deal you some critical damage. The act 2 stabby book fight comes to mind, that one was very tight. Great run, man.
12:14 I personally doubted it, but since you didn't show the math, I thought it'd be fun Choke > 12 damage, applies 3 choke Choke (Necronomicon) > 12 damage, 3 choke damage, applies 3 more choke We're at 27 damage + 6 for each attack. Masterful Stab > 12 damage + 6 choke double Backstab > 22 damage + 12 choke Dramatic Entrance > 12 + 6 Skewer X 3 > 30 + 6 For a total of 133 health, which is proven as the Champ is left on 287 health. If you had played double Skewer however, double Skewer x 4 = 80 damage Masterful Stab > 12 double Backstab > 22 Dramatic Entrance > 12 For a total of 126 damage A potentially life saving 7 points of difference
yes if you play it like that, but if you play the 0 cost attacks first and proc nunchaku first Masterful Stab > 12 double Backstab > 22 Dramatic Entrance > 12 Doulbe Skewer * 5 = 100 146 > 133
Yo I gotta be a wanker here. That was skewer wasn't 400 damage, the pen nib only double the damage of the first skewer (200dmg), the necronomicon copy of skewer didn't get the pin nib boost so only 100dmg for that one.
Yeah and it would've done more damage if he'd played skewer when pen nib was on 8 because it would've been double played for 1 extra energy (pen nibbed the second play instead of the first)
Plays attack only deck yet (14:04) turns down an upgraded copy of the only card he can play which generates block. And it even combos with Necronomicon too, making 26 block on a turn. Why?!
Since you had gambling chip, I feel like you could've kept writhe and bought the anchor cleat instead. But hey, you still won and it was a really cool run.
Your math is wrong, if you play your 0 cost attacks first you deal 146 dammage intotal with a 5 energy Skewer+ played twice. Your method is not without benif though it gavce you +1 on both nunchaku and pen nib which may have come in handy
No shame, but I'm curious why you dislike the Watcher. I'm actually not sure if it's a genuine sentiment or a meme, but if the former, then I wonder why. I enjoy your humor, by the way.
It's a little bit of a meme but I'm just not a huge fan scry and mantra. I also never feel like I get those uber broken builds like you would with say the defects power card or a really nice poison deck with the silent.
@@Ec1pz That is more than fair enough. Maybe it's the blue MTG player in me that loves the scry for the MTG infect player that loves the wrath stance. Watcher feels like the character with whom I have the most "this deck shouldn't work" wins. (Signature Move is a meme, but it's a fun one.) Also, Rushdown is a stupidly broken card.
My answer is D: I forgot that they always have 4 answers in jeopardy so just pretend that this is an option because this bit took like 20 minutes to setup 0:53 DAMN IT I got it wrong :(
I love how he traded the block potion for regen potion because its more hp, only to keep it all game until the final boss where it gave him 12 hp.

”Your honor, my clients couldnt have beaten the third act boss. He has no skills!”
Never underestimate the extra 3 damage on a basic strike throughout the run.
You seem to be on ascension zero, not ascension one. Unless i am wrong, and I am never wrong. Absolutely sick video though
And I m never wrong🤓

Accidentally stumbled upon this channel and ended up watching everything Slay The Spire-related. Keep up the good work!
what an absolutely "skill-less" run...
amazing stuff
Very cool! I was surprised you didn't pick up the Dash+, but I guess blocking wasn't the strategy, ha
I love the attention to detail on the library bit 😂
>can’t block in any way
>picks up two masterful stabs
I was so shocked to watch this then look at your sub count I thought for sure you'd have at least 50k+. I love your presentation dude
Not sure why they didn't take dash. Not done with the video but necronomicon + dash probably woulda put in work
You sir are going places
Just discovered your channel, i think I'm going to be enjoying your videos for a long time.

Watching this guy is so infuriating because he just makes the worst decisions ever
I have never even got anything other than the Necronomicon from that book event

Holy shit how are you so obscure this is great
