Xpulse 200 4v Rear monoshock absorber adjustment can be made according to the load/road conditions.
- In Clockwise direction: Sttiffer
- In Anti-clockwise direction: Softer
That ring is for adjusting the preload (Stiffness of the suspension) of the spring. It has no connection with height.

Yes I agree,that's only for preload spring stiffness.
Preload adjustment modifies the seat height of the motorcycle, it changes the active area and sag of the suspension. It has nothing to do with stiffness. For changing the stiffness, you need to change the compression and rebound damping characteristics, which are only available on bigger adventure bikes.

Bro just ask a friend to lift bike from behind and use a c spanner for adjusting, the hammer will damge your shocks😅
Sadly this bike doesn't ship with a c spanner so I was forced to do so too, twice.
The spanner used to adjust suspension is available in the tool kit. Don't use hammer guys

Height is not that much visible in camera . You will feel slight difference when you sit on the bike and try touch the legs on the road .
There is no drastic height change … suspension becomes softer when load is added on the bike and height decreases accordingly

At setting 1 suspension becomes soft and at setting 10 it becomes harder. So keep as per your weight in between
If weight is more then keep hard as bike will need stable suspension at highways

you are so wrong bro... it is exactly the opposite of what you said... at 1 the suspension is soft but the height is tall and vice versa.

@@riderkk_mumbai bro you need to do some research before posting such nonsense.... it is common sense bro, when the spring compresses it makes it hard, and when it decompresses it makes the suspension soft. what you are doing in the video is decompressing the preload i.e. your suspension is going to be soft [@1]... to make it hard you have to increase the preload...

@@sagargurung1266 bhai I don’t post nonsense though I went to service center and checked at 10th setting, and I could not touch my both feet to ground properly. Then I changed setting to 1 and height was reduced. So this is confirmed and even my engineering knowledge allow me to post this video. But many thanks for your observation that suspension become soft at setting 1. You have full freedom to correct me.

I am 5'7'' and tipppy Toes Xpulse 200. Tried this. Nothing happened😌. If you are 5'10" , You easily use this for city commute.
Oh , difference is very minute but I felt it right after adjustment. I am 5.4” and now comfortable in city. Thought off-roading is quite difficult

Footrest nahi hai bhai , one side cannot sit. Baki seating is good for two side legs

Yes, I am also 5.2 and can ride this with little efforts. Not as easy as other bikes but you need to practice it. Better take test ride with hero showroom

You can increase the Hight by rotating the setting knob. But Don’t know which side, simply observe the knob setting and decide which side to rotate

Yes, at setting 3 if you carry pillion then over speed breaker my center stand touches the road. Other than than no issues
