I made this build! My bad for not writing out the artifact mods. If i knew you preferred not depending on artifact, I would have modded it out more like how you did.
I've been playing with a similar build but instead of threadlings i've been using grapple with threaded spectre for defense and whirling maelstrom. The tangles get your grenade back super quick and you can run a triple strand build by using Tesselation which also helps keep your grenade uptime. The threaded specter also can trigger Foetracer. makes the build feel more mobile and safer.
@@TruNexus364 grapples are fun, but they're not super great if you're not on banner Titan. I usually just end up sitting on two grapple nades when I'm running them, because they're such a huge commitment and not worth the trouble in high end pvp without assassins cowl
Why threadling nade over shackle?
@@Pandemonium088 an earlier build had shackle, but since I didn't have drengr's lash or mindspun invocation a little bit of suspend wasn't worth investing in. Threadlings were a much better supplement to Whirling Maelstrom
*Athrysys Judgement*
Subclass: Gunslinger
Super: Blade Barrage (simply because it has the shortest cooldown)
Aspects: Gunpowder Gamble, Knock ‘em Down
Fragments: Ember of Torches, Eruption, Ashes, Char
Abilities: Gamblers Dodge, Heavy Weighted Knife, Fusion Grenade (or healing if you’re having trouble staying alive)
Kinetic: Any
Energy: Divinity
Heavy: Lasting Impressions Rocket (getting 2 in the mag makes it better)
Helmet: Hands On, Siphon Mod
Gauntlets: Athrys's Embrace: Heavy Handed, Impact Induction
Chest: Arc Reserves x2
Legs: Recuperation, Absolution, Arc Scavenger (these can be swapped for Surge mods if necessary)
Class Item: Reaper, Special Finisher, Powerful Attraction
Play Style: This is an old build of mine but it’s held up over the years and works regardless of artifact mods though they have the potential to make it better. The main focus is massive burst DPS but you can also support your team with Divinity debuff and Radiant buff. Use Divinity to build up Strengthened Weighted Knife almost instantly and kill most large health targets in one precision throw. Against beefier targets, use your Lasting Impressions rocket(s) and a fusion grenade on the target then swap to Divinity. You’ll have enough time to build the debuff/precision bubble before the rockets explode. If they’re still alive you can hit them with a strengthened weighted knife for massive burst damage and an ignition because of the fusions scorch. If they’re still alive after that you can Gamblers dodge near them/another enemy to hit them with another strengthened weighted knife. This does massive burst damage and is good for all around ad clear because of Weighted Knife’s ability to instantly ignite any scorched targets. Special finisher is always there to get special ammo should you run out for Divinity. You’ve also got Gunpowder Gamble at your disposal should you need an extra bit of damage.
I have a Hezen’s Vengeance with Overflow and Lasting Impressions as this lets you attach 2 rockets with enough time to swap to Divinity and set the debuff before they both explode for massive burst damage. Though I use a Field Prep Lasting Impressions Hot Head to take advantage of Arc Reserves/Scavenger. Field Prep alone won’t let you reload your rocket fast enough to get two rockets onto a target then proc Divinity, but you can still shoot two rockets and get the debuff for one of the explosions for a good chuck of burst damage.
The reason you sometimes get the tangle to trigger foetracers is because it's creation source is what ties to its damage type. Let's say you get a tangle from a kill with a threadling from the grenade. The tangle will take on the ability properties of the grenade and do ability damage for the purpose of buffs from exotics and mods.
If it is created by a kill with your quicksilver storm however, the tangle will be considered as weapon damage for the sake of interaction with your helmet. It's similar to how getting kills with solar guns in a well of radiance is considered for getting kills with your super.
Here's a vid on how scorch works that illustrates a similar interaction: ruclips.net/video/3-uKTJvC7uc/видео.htmlsi=uGXy8P9SW-V8i2fB
I think I remember aztecross talking about this in a similar foetracer build. The tangles you get from weapons won't prock the surges.
That’s really...really funky. Hell of a thing to keep track of, but thank you for that vital information. I absolutely have had it both trigger and not trigger, so I've always wondered what the inconsistency was.
Yup its the same interaction that weapon spawned entities like Hatchling or Headstone will take on the weapon property like the damage buffs as well as other perks like shoot to loot. Though the only interaction I've seen that hasn't worked was Cursed Thrall. It works with Incandescent but for some reason doesn't work with Hatchling, despite Hatchling working with things like Rewind Rounds.
yo thats complex as hell i love it
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 also if you use firepower or heavy handed on stasis too. make a ton of crystals with either melee or grenade break a piece with an enemy around and you will get an orb of power. really cool they make it work like that
This reason for the time dilations was one of the seasonal artifact mods makes tangles do more damage, but make your armor charge decay over time. Which is probably half of this build. I actually have a very similar build with the same exotic, but I use the clone instead of multiple grenades. This probably explains the mod setup as well.
I have been running something pretty close to this build but instead of widows silk I run Threaded Specter. You mention that the build lacks durability and threaded specter is a great panic button. If things get sketchy just dodge. It drops aggro immediately and allows you to reposition. When they kill the specter, 2 more threadlings. Give it a shot. You don't miss the extra grenade charge with the right mods and since you aren't using grapple Widow's Silk is really a waste.
FYI Tangle whirlwind do apply the Foetracer's buff if the tangle was created from an ability, if it came from your weapon it will not proc the exotic perk.
Also if you struggle with survibility I highly recommend the decoy aspect instead of the double grenade one, your ability rotation should be quick enough so that you do not need the second nade and the decoy is legitimately invisibilty on steroid since it can last longer, taunts ennemy so works even in a team setup and also allows you to shoot the target while the decoy is up. Highly underrated aspect tbh
Some pointers, you NEED to be throwing your dart way more, between having your gamblers dodge all the time and thread of fury you can just chuck it way more don't be conservative with it, it's a great tool to make sure everything is doing less damage to you.
Second, maelstroms can make another tangle to pop as long as it's not made by foetracer, so the ones you make by an ability kill or with a grenade kill from Quicksilver do count towards activating the damage bonus from foe
Third, I know suspend kinda sucks now but threadlings don't really do much on Hunter even with the fragment to boost them. I'd still run shackle for the ability proc plus it's great crowd control and keeps things from shooting at you.
Fourth, I'd leave out the threadling fragment and put in something like propagation so that rope dart is doing something for you plus unraveling is extra damage on top of the boost from foe. Or go transmutation so you can guarantee a tangle from any weapon as long as you have woven mail, and you don't have to think about your cooldown as much since it'll be happening in the background.
Quick Silver Storm can create a second tangle because it uses a separate cooldown from player abilities
So, Tangles carry the same modifier as what makes it; like scorch will carry the modifier of what makes it.
I.e. creating a tangle with a weapon kill will not make it so it doesn't apply foe tracer where creating one with a Melee or Threadling will make it so it functions as ability damage.
This is a really great series! I love seeing cool builds from the community put to the test by Mactics and then tweaked to perfection. It's a lot of fun. Keep it up!
Foe Tracer is the foundation of %90 of my builds.
EDIT: You aren't playing strand the right way. Listen and catch the knife on return... after you get use to it you never run out of charged melee. The gamblers dodge is only there to cover the cracks. Secondly quick silver storm is the WORST strand weapon to use for a tangle build. It almost seems to share the tangle cool down. Perpetualis or old sterling work much better and seem to have a separate tangle cool down. You can generate an ability tangle anda weapon tangle with the right combination of subclass and artifact spec.
Rufus Fury is my strand weapon on choice for my FoeNado build
I love perpetualis. I crafted mine with enhanced killing wind and enhanced golden tricorn for my strand hunter build. The +50 to mobility on a kill from killing wind allows me to max out my mobility without having to fully spec into it. Increased handling and range is great too. I don't use foetracers though, I use cyrtarachnes facade, that way I can get woven mail, plus the fragment that let's you create tangles from weapon kills when you have woven mail. I did try and enjoy similar foetracer builds, just wanted easier means to woven mail without having to use the fragment and picking up an orb. I just grapple on to enemies in a group, get woven mail, power melee them, grab the tangle, dodge back and leave a decoy, then throw the tangle and have the maelstrom do its job. I have had tangles for days, sometimes 3 or 4 going out at once.
The reason you run the sever for rapid headshots fragment is because it allows you to generate tangles without having to burn an ability first so you can get the ball rolling with the beyblade tangles and throw your abilities when you want to
It really comes in handy when you have to fight at range so you can't reliably get ability kills with things like the rope dart but you can still get a beyblade going to do damage and spread unravel.
For reals an awesome video series. Makes me wanna create something crazy just to see it put to use!
If you want a build that can give u different buffs from different subclasses look for nothing else that the Moth Hunter build
Super: strand
Gamblers dogde
Any jump (I like triple)
Threaded spike
Grenade: moth keepers wraps
Aspects: whirling maelstrom and windows silk
Fragments: warding transmutation generation and propagation (warding gives strand buff woven mail)
Exotic weapon: ex deris (preferable with catalyst for amplification arc buff)
Exotic armor: moth keepers wraps
(Will give void buff void over shield)
Helmet: ashes to assets, strand and arc siphon
Arms: grenade kickstart and firepower (fastball is optional)
Chest: anything but focus on resists
Legs: 3x innervation
Cloak: powerful attraction 2x bomber
Stats: high discipline and whatever else you prefer
With this build you will be able to get multiple buffs from different subclasses, exderis with cat giving u amplify, woven mail from orbs of power and void over shield from moth grenades, these moths can also blind Unstoppable champions because of their blinding capabilities, combining this with the newest strand aspect this will allow you to be dealing good to great add clear while also blinding enemies, and if your in a pinch you can always dogde to get orbs and woven mail or you can throw the moths near u for a void over shield, giving u all offensive, defensive and supporting capabilities while also doing solid add clear
This is a personal opinion but I like to run a strand auto, perpetualis or Rufus any works and whatever you prefer for your heavy slot, hopefully everyone can give this a try even though probably a lot of people have tried it already, have a great weekend everyone!!!
I have a build idea that I think you would like. It goes as the following:
Equip Stasis Hunter with Glacier Grenades, Shatterdive, and Grim Harvest.
The Fragments we are using are: Shards, Hedrons, Torment, Rime, and Conduction.
The Mods I used are:
Ashes to Assets x2, Heavy Finder, Firepower, Grenade Kickstart, Blostering Detonation, Resists/Reserves as needed, Recuperation, Innervation x2, Bomber x2, and Time Dialation.
Feel free to change the mods as needed.
The exotics is use are Frost-EE5, and either Cryostesia77k, Ager's Sceptere, or Centrifuse.
How to Use:
1. Throw Grenade
2. Use Shatterdive on grenade
3. Sprint until your grenade recharges.
This build supports a run-and-gun playstyle, which is why i chose Centrifuse as an exotic option.
If Mac sees this, please test it in a video. My username and numbers are: SkeletonKeyFam2, and i will edit this comment when i get the 4 numbers.
Great series. I always love seeing hunter builds.
Something I like to do with my hunter's Foetracer/Threadling build is to use Thread of Ascent and a rocket for some great burst dps. Use that with Semiotician and Marksman's Dodge, and you can go Rocket->Grenade->Rocket->Dodge->Rocket->Grenade->Rocket. It's some crazy good burst all at 25% extra damage, though I do wish Semiotician had better damage options. Imagine that with a Bait & Switch Strand rocket launcher.
I was thinking the exact same as you with the time dialation but the comments have cleared that up. Enjoyed watching this 👍🏻
Void finishers with Severance Enclosure
(Controlled Demo, Echo of Cessation, Starvation, etc)
I always use it whenever the enemies aren’t super spongy, because it has great survivability when chaining finishers
I came to the same conclusion about orb creation mods. Especially in a legendary lost sector. I'm not stepping out of cover at great risk to chase orbs for the limited returns.
And you are correct IMHO about using abilities to not damage as much as to create more damage.
Quicksilver Sash lol That triggered a bunch of old League memories.
Made my own strand build with Sixth Coyote and using the aspect that creates a decoy. Haven't perfected it yet, but it is okay so far
Calling it Strand Tangler and not strangler is a missed opportunity
The Apothecary: The Ultimate Support Build
This build plays into the idea that warlocks, while able hold their own in a fight, are unmatched when it comes to their ability to constantly buff themselves and their allies, giving them the power and survivability to cut through even the strongest foes that dare to step into our path. This is the true Endgame Team Player build.
Weapons:
Kinetic Slot- Lumina- This is integral to the build because it pairs with our exotic armor piece of choice, the boots of the assembler. This will give us constant uptime on noble rounds that not only give our allies access to the highest damage buff available in the game, but also allow for healing at great distances, allowing us to heal teammates wherever they may be.
Energy and Heavy Slots can vary, but I run it with a
Energy Slot- The Eremite with Controlled Burst and Envious Assassin
Heavy Slot- Either a rocket for Boss DPS or Machine Gun for more add dense activities
Exotic Armor Piece:
Boots of the Assembler- This allows for your rift to produce seekers that track nearby allies and grant them blessing of the sky, which either heals them or grants a damage bonus depending on which rift you have equipped. When allies receive a seeker, it also extends the duration of your rift. Thanks to our fragments, this extension will insure that your next rift will be available before your current rift runs out. As stated, this also synergizes with Lumina.
Aspects:
Touch of Flame- This will give our healing nodes the ability to grant x2 Restoration to ourself and allies.
Icarus Dash- This can easily be switched with heat rises if you want access to another source of cure, but I prefer the added mobility.
Fragments:
Ember of Benevolence- This will allow for a crazy amount of uptime on abilities. It provides a 400% base additional Grenade, Melee, and class ability regeneration. The fragment states that this is activated by applying cure, restoration or radiant to allies, but a lesser known interaction is that it also procs on allies being healed by noble rounds from Lumina or Noble Seekers from Boots of the Assembler. This means you will have that 400% base regain 99.9% of the time just from playing the way the build is intended.
Ember of Torches- This will play into both uptime of Ember of Benevolence as well as buffing your own damage. Allies will primarily be benefitting from the Blessing of the Sky buff from Lumina, but this will allow for additional buffs to nearby allies as well as your own damage, which makes Lumina hit like a train.
Ember of Searing- Your melee ability will already have crazy uptime, but this is just going to crank that uptime to an 11. Just for killing enemies you hit with your melee ability, you get melee energy back, as well as creating a firesprite to grant additional grenade energy and playing into our next fragment.
Ember of Mercy- This fragment allows for a bit more safety to rely on whenever you are in a risky spot trying to revive an ally. On top of a base +10 to resilience, it grants restoration to you and nearby allies when you revive an ally, granting increased survivability when you go for that risky rez. On top of that, you also get restoration when picking up a fireserite, which will be littering the battlefield because of constant melee uptime. That’s not to mention the fact that reviving an ally will also trigger Ember of Benevolence.
Grenade: Healing Grenade- This will grant cure to nearby guardians on impact. Thanks to Touch of Flame, it also provides one of only two sources of restoration x2 available (the only one available to other classes.) This will have amazing uptime thanks to Ember of Benevolence, so you will always have a grenade to get you or an ally out of a sticky situation
Melee:
I prefer to run this with incinerator snap because restoration x2 makes it less risky to be in the thick of the battle and allows for more scorch on multiple enemies, leaning into Ember of Searing. However, it is totally fine to run it with Celestial Fire if you aren’t comfortable being right in the heat of the battle and prefer to attack from a distance.
Class Ability-
Healing Rift- Thanks to Boots of the Assembler, this will allow you to hang out in the fray of battle with good healing while allowing your allies to move freely while still reaping the benefits of the healing rift without being stuck next to you, allowing them to complete encounter mechanics or engage more difficult enemies without having to sacrifice mobility.
Armor Mods:
Helmet- Stat mods, Finder Mods, Kinetic Siphon
Arms- Stat Mods, Melee Kickstart, Impact Induction, Fastball if you have room or are feeling cheeky
Chest- Stat Mods, Charged up, Resist Mods
Legs- Stat Mods, Surge or Scavenger Mods, Stacks on Stacks if you prefer.
Class Item- Stat Mods, Reaper, Bomber.
I love running this build in things like Master Crota’s End, other master raids, any other Cooperative Endgame Content. NGL, this build finds little use outside of team play, but in hard, particularly hard to stay alive endgame content or day 1 raids, this build is unbeatable.
Cool build, i love the Beyblades and Foetracer 😉👍👌
If I could pick a super power I would choose the ability to be able to make the transmat sound when you enter a play area in d2, I would then make the noise constantly as much ad possible
Having 2 elemental charge mod when playing strand is useless. 1 elemental charge mod need 2 tangles to give an armor charge, with 2 it still need 2 tangles (same for void and solar). You only have a benefit when you invest 3 mods, at that point every tangle gives you one armor charge (only if you shoot them, if you throw them, you're not gonna trigger the mod, that's pretty obvious in Mactic's video). Stasis and especially cryo are the most interesting subclass to use with elemental charge mod.
The only strand hunter that matters is sixth coyote with whirling maelstrom and threaded spectre. High discipline over mobility since the double dodge from SC has almost constant uptime. The decoy is extremely powerful in master content, throw in woven mail, reaper + powerful attraction and you are nigh unkillable.
Marksman for heavy reload, shackle because it helps you set the pace. Transmution and Warding go hand in hand, generation and the nerfed continuity for shackle. Resilience and Discipline first since your dodge is almost always available. Dodge to distract, kill for orb/health/woven mail, whirling maelstrom shreds ads, and a special shout out to golden tricorn circular logic: kill one ad, use your awesome strand melee, huge damage boost to shred overloads. Cataphract is a solid 2nd option. Quicksilver is still the top choice, I run iterative loop as a backup gun.
Head: Heavy ammo finder and strand siphon
Arm: grenade kickstart x2 (fastball if you’re not using resilience or intellect mod)
Chest: strand reserves and damage resist
Legs: strand surge and scav, recuperation
Class: reaper, attraction, bomber
After further review, Final Warning is actually filthy. Single shot hits as hard as HCs, charged shot is like a rapid fire Forerunner. Could be useful if Sidearms have a champ mod next season.
quicksilver storms catalyst says it's grenade kills make the tangles not its base shots..that said im pretty sure the answer still stands that it doesnt bypass the tangle creation cd
This has nothing to do with the vid but damn, they really got tall Mactics on the new Cut vid and I couldn't not mention it.
Ok on topic, I LOVE Strand with Foetracer. That and Star Eater are the go to exotics for me!
p sure kickstart mods aren't useful in builds with multiple abilities? like if you have two grenades abilities, the kickstart won't go into effect until you've used both of them. i feel like it's more beneficial to use things like bolstering or impact induction
Missed opportunity to use a strand heavy weapon so that also gets the 4x bonus
Love the build videos. Just added this to my collection thanks as always.
Bro keep these coming. This series is awesome.
I really love this series, and thank you for the builds.
i wonder if running a crafted Erimite with heal clip be a decent option for a fusion in this build to give a bit of healing?
I only run the DPS perk set on Eremite with this build. Even on Master, survivability is not too difficult to manage on this since you’re slaying tf out with the beyblades, Quicksilver, and in my case, Cataphract with Envious/Explosive Light going BRRRRRRRR
I was definitely going to post this but had to work I just use solar for radiant when solo strand for PvP especially mayhem
you should have added the "its not a dick" in the starforge part XD
Tangles from abilities will proc foetracer. Tangles from quicksilver will not (they count as weapon damage)
this is a very cool series mactic. good work! 😎
There is another youtuber that solos GMs and showed this build for Scarlet Keep. I been running it ever since
I swear my last 2 braincells have been working day and night on coming up with a build for Mactics to feature in a video
What Rocket Launcher was used?
I ended up trying this and kept dying like crazy might have to put more recovery stat mods
Do all these recent builds work for next season?? What I love with these type of content is that they are viable for all seasons. Like you don't need mods from the artifact to make them work. You get what I mean??
I'd run this with hatchling on both a circular logic and a pressurized precision and just go completely nuts on every ad that has the audacity to spawn
What other weapon asked no one.
The answer is monarque. There's your survivability and more splash
look at the last seasonal mod. it needs time dilation.
Also, Esoterikk did a similar build for his most recent wishEnder dungeon video.
I don't think this is going to be a good build per se, and even if you like it, I don't want the silver at all. Give it to someone else, I don't really mind, and don't even want it to begin with, but this is just my usual build that I run all the time:
Solar Hunter - I've run it through lots of things and am very comfortable with the weapons, so pay them no mind
Kinetic: Perpetualis (Crafted) - Envious Assassin + Target Lock (backup Mag for more bullet)
Energy: Ticcu's Divination - Lots a solar kills
Power: Quickfang (Going to try Goldtusk once I unlock the pattern) - Relentless Strikes + Assassin's Blade (also back Mag)
Gambler's Dodge (Might work better with Marksman's)
Proximity Knife
Healing Grenade (Survivability)
Blade Barrage
Knock 'Em Down (Infinite knives, duh)
On Your Mark (Mostly just because of the extra fragment slot)
Ember of Solace (Simple duration buff)
Ember of Torches (Infinite knives)
Ember of Tempering (Increased recovery, but also Firesprite creation)
Ember of Beams (Superior Blade Barrage)
Ember of Mercy (Firesprites give restoration, but also nice support with the revive restoration)
Helmet Mods - Power Preservation, Solar/Strand Siphon (just do either siphon outside of seasonal), Harmonic Siphon
Arm Mods - Grenade Kickstart, Heavy Handed, (I'm running resil, so I ran out of energy)
Chest Mods - Unflinching Harmonic Aim, Arc Resistance (I tend to always get bodied by arc weaponry???), Harmonic Resistance
Leg Mods - Recuperation, Innervation, Solar Weapon Surge
Cloak Mods - Reaper, Bomber, Utility Kickstart
Curious if this build is any good given that it's just my usual build I run. I don't think it's quite on par, but if you need something to poke fun at, go for it. Also, if you can make this build better, that'd be kinda nice since I don't tend to build-craft. I just have this together because it seems to work well for pretty much anything I run, but that could also just be me being great with bows in video games for literally no reason (even if the bow I picked is basically precision explosives, I am still great with a bow both in and out of game. I want a Tyranny of Heaven simply because it'd be a nice bow to have as an alternative in this build and would allow me to run other exotics).
I just posted my favourite build in your "will it build" that uses Titan class with solar subclass. I hope it makes it to the Will it build Series.
Does surge stack with foetracer?
If so that's up to 50%
As soon as i saw the buff to foetracer this was the first build i made with it. I knew the badeblades would proc the weapon buffs. Still the build i use on strand hunter
this solar warlock is my go to for day one attempts for survivability and with it using an off meta exotic it just makes me giggle
titled Escanor for how cocky it will make you feel on the battle field
well
celestial fire
healing nad
icarus dash (for movement)
touch of flame
ember of empyrean
ember of solace
ember of torches
ember of ashes (can be swapped with ember of eruption)
exotic Mantle of Battle Harmony
healing nad + touch of flame + ember of empyrean gives you infinite times 2 restoration as long as you can keep chaining kills
chaining kills can some times be difficult so we need more damage
With ember of torches our celestial fire gives us radiant + with our exotic mantel of battle harmony we get a times four surge and personally I run tommys match book to add one more damage multiplier to the mix
Battle harmony will do the of job of phoenix protocol by providing large amounts of super energy without the draw back of losing the effect after our well runs out
ember of solace it to simply give us extra time to get our first kill to start the cycle while also increasing the max our timer can be for both of our buffs
ember of ashes is add to help improve the amount of scorch tommys or any other solar weapon with incandescent adds to enemies
Amor mods are pretty slandered
helmet siphon mods and heavy ammo
arms grenades and melee kickstart
chest charger up and resistance mods
legs stacks, invigoration and innervation to help get our abilities back
class outreach bomber and reaper
dim.gg/admni3i/Escanor
Any tips on getting ur light level up fast
Read the game mades some will say "powerful" and some will say "pinnacle". Do the pinnacle challenges. Hope this helps
I'm currently running Aztecross' Foetangler build he posted a while ago, I feel like the synergy is smoother with the buffs and such. Quicksilver is juicy as always.
Do people just not pay attention to the mods they have equipped when they submit these builds?
Thks bro, you are reliable for build
Good to see you. Let's see what you have for us.
Is there a dim link ?
I have a feeling that time dilation was for the artifact mods that buff tangle/orb damage, but was failed to be communicated.
wait how do you have 5 slots in your class armor?
Artifice armor
I love this series
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS MENTIONED RAHHHHH ‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️
stasis titan?
Try sixth coyote and threaded spectre, actually a great build
Esoteric has a similar build lol
I got j in build I call fists of the gods
Titan build
First put on point contact cannon brace
Use arc subclass
Knock out and touch of thunder
Spark of resistance amplitude chock and ions
Then put on a kinetic siphon and equip Monte Carlo
Put on a impact induction and a hands on mod with a heavy handed mod and a momentum transfer and on the legs put two invigoration mods and on the class item put a distribution mod
and use it with thruster
The loop is basically use your punch throw your grenade use your thruster and then Monte Carlo somebody punch again chuck another grenade it’s an ad clear monster and you can keep your heath up with knockout I’d suggest 100 resilience and strength then pump discipline or recovery have fun punching
1000 silver if it's good, 5000 dollars* if it's outstanding.

another strand hunter build:
marksman's dodge
shackle grenade
aspect
-whirling maelstorm/threaded specter
fragment
-warding/mind/fury/generation
exotics
-sixth coyote
-QSS
stat distribution
-resil/mobility/discipline
mods
- ammo finder (heavy,special) /siphon
-focusing strike/bolstering detonation/impact induction
-resistances (sniper,elemental,concussive)
-better already/recuperation/surge
-reaper/powerful attraction/utility kickstart
gameplay
use your dodge as a defensive option it will heal you (if some orb are on the ground) and taunt nearby enemies
use your abilities as much as possible, they all reduce your dodge cd, sever as much enemies as possible improve your durability
try to have one dodge in case of emergency situation
try to use your melee after your dodge, reducing enemies damage will improve your clone duration
use threaded specter as a taunt, any enemy (even bosses) who can see the clone will be taunt use it to dps bosses and majors
don't manually reload your qss switch to gl mode fire one or two (not three) shot and switch to ar mode it will auto reload your ar mode
your threaded specter clone will activate at the end of your dodge animation (like invis)
if you have some issues catching your kunai you can switch to gambler's dodge (higher cd, less burst damage)
i use this build for solo content (dungeon/master nightfall)
You basically get radiant for 10 sec for weapons matching your subclass and enemies highlighted drop an elemental pick that's it hmmmmmm rather ability spam but strand hunter doesn't need an exotic for ability spam soooo
You guys still playing this at this point?
Mactics please DIM links. Cmooon bro.
Who dey
