Edit: I thought he didn't know and he got mad at another player. I still think the guy didn't know, but he was mad at '''the Lucian" because he question-pinged him 3 times right before he quit.

@@karsonkammerzell6955 I watched the whole stream and that's not true at all. No one even said a word going into the game.
It was Lucian (Rick Fox) and Ivern bot lane vs Jinx and Zyra. They were losing the laning phase really badly. The time that Ivern dc'd the game was when they lost a trade which forces the Lucian to run away and left Ivern to die. Ivern starting question mark pinging Lucian and said "uhmmm, k, fk this" and left the game.
@@itorres008 No one knew that it was Faker in the game. And it was Rick's support that left because they were losing lane.

idk, Rick Fox is a great ambassador. But if you been reading up on the business side of Esports. Games with high meta changes, are bad business investments.
It's to big of a gamble to get a team to win NA, since all the top teams stay at the top cause they already know the ins and outs, and got connections to draft the best new blood. New teams can't make that kind of pull on new players. If the new recruit is good to, they will most likely go to a top team already. If the new team can't compete they make no money, and eventually die off or go into a massive lost.
Not only that, USA compared to other regions makes practically no money. Most of the big name games with huge followings, NA barley grabs any titles or top 4s internationally. So investment into a team is really going against the odds. Even if you were able to get a hold of a top tier NA team. They can get dethroned from top NA position practically at any event, they will probably never hit global prestige, you have to cycle new blood constantly, and finally you have to push your brand which is even harder cause of the previous issues.

Rick Fox is an absolute inspiration to those of us that aren't involved in the eSports community currently that are hoping to be involved in that world one day.
Im so happy an appreciative of Rick not getting scared out of the community after the whole deal with Echo Fox, i was so worried that it would leave him hurt or sour and make other people from outside of the community to take the perspective of it being toxic and not worth interest and regress the progress eSports has been making in the main stream, but im so grateful that he remained optimistic and an important part of the community, and i really hope he continues down that path.
We really need to get rick back into the lcs.

I’m glad there wasn’t a tragic ending to all this and that he’s still in the scene, I respect tf out of this guy for all he’s done. You could clearly see how much pressure was on him while he was managing the team and it’s nice to see him in a more calm place, maybe everything happens for a reason:)

I didn't know anything about Rick Fox when he came to League. I thought in the beginning that he is just another investor wanting to cash in on esports sooner or later. After actually listening to him during the EchoFox disaster and now I apologize for that. If Rick Fox just "plays" this role to be a likable celebrity who wants to cash in on esports he is a hell of a great actor.

no. boosting is when someone much better plays on YOUR account to get you up. you cant be reported for basically playing with a friend. The Faker smurfing maybe, but nothing would ever come about it because it is a short term thing
