My god. The animation was god tier. The lighting was awesome, the characters were really interesting and fun to look at, and the background were really beautiful. The music fit really well and you did a fantastic job.
The way that Vic lowers his hand a bit when his creation looks at Vic with a smile on his face is a really nice touch. From what I've seen of this AU, this is on of the most integral differences in their relationship.
I like how you included elements of the original and modern depictions of Frankenstein's Monster. In the original The Monster was described as rather handsome aside his eyes. And the more obvious modern representation with the pale green/dark green skin, slightly asymmetrical proportions and various stitches.
I am in utter awe. This is such a stunning piece of animation; tones, colors, music, lighting GOODNESS it all comes together magically. I'm already so invested in these characters, I cannot WAIT to see what you have in store next!
What i find tge most beilliant part is how it expands on Victors experiment on creating life. Since he proved it was possible, others begin to copy a similar process for reasons ranging from scientific curiosity, grief, or simply madness. With its success comes possibilities, such as bringing other things to life or creating something new. And with any technology, there will always be someone who will weaponize it perverting the original intention of the creator.
Brightgoat, you are a master of the visual arts! Every character full of life and emotion, every background vivid and distinctive, every item detailed and polished. The movements of each character matches who they are. Creecher's movements are stiff and stunted, while Victor's and the other characters' movements are fluid and natural. The backgrounds are full of color and proper lighting for each scene. Everything feels so real, it's intoxicating to watch. Maybe this is as far as you will go with this, but if there's more in the future, I'll be looking forward to it with great enthusiasm. Absolutely stunning work as always. I hope you never lose your love and passion for your art.
This is a whole other level of incredible. The backgrounds are so well lit and detailed, the poses are so dynamic and expressive, and the animation is so smooth! Your work never fails to inspire me.
I’m sorry, but the sunrise at the beginning HAS to be my favorite part, so smooth and the colors are such great contrast to the blue electricity before 😚👌
This looks cool and is a really interesting trailer. It gives a feel for the sort of relationships between the characters. I love the part where the shadow of the ribcage moves with the rising sun
Please, please make an animated series of this!!! This is just so beautiful, i really want to see how the story plays out, and who all the characters are.
Having finally read the full novel, I have truly gained a much deeper appreciation for these animations. You continue to awe and inspire me and thousands of others. Your works are truly masterpieces, and I hope to see more of this story in the future. *now if you'll excuse me i have to go screech like a pterodactyl and show this to all my friends.*
This is amazing! The art is amazing especially the details, the shadows and lighting are perfect. The animation is so smooth, the characters move so naturally and the music fits perfectly. The backgrounds are amazingly detailed and your shots and angles are perfect. This looks like it was produced by a big studio and I honestly would watch it if it was. I especially love your Creature. His innocence and creativity leaps off the screen and I can't get over how beautiful and cute he is!!! I hope someone gives you a fucking huge paycheck to make your own movie because honestly, that would be amazing. If this was made into a Frankenstein adaptation it would be one of my favourites!
Thank you very much ;u; the detail was taxing but it paid off in the end. and I'm glad you like the creature heheh God i wish i could make this an animated series, but i might have to do with webcomic, which is alright (if i ever even make it lmao)
All the small details have me in a CHOKEHOLD right now. Like how when the blonde girl (sorry never read the book) sews, she lifts up a single piece of thread instead of the needle poking through the bottom like most artists draw it.
ah this was so cool! it felt like i was watching a trailer for a movie and for a hot sec i was thinking "if this comes out after quarantine imma force my entire family to go to the theater with me to see this"
Aaa the anatomy, animation, the shading and lighting (I love the way the shadows and light move during sunrise scene.) and scenery. Everything is amazing and breathtaking! I aspire to be as good as you one day! Thank you for inspiration.
@@Brightgoat that's amazing! I'm trying to drag my ass out of the gutter and animate my own short, so I'm taking notes! This is so fantastic, I don't even have words.
Oh wow, oh wow Bright! This is so crisp looking! I love everything about this and I love what you have done with this animation! The beginning is so perfect with the electrical sparks coming from Victor's hand and the amazing lighting flashes that we can see in the background. The rising of the sun, right after that, looks so smooth and absolutely beautiful! The shading is top-notch, all of the backgrounds deserve to be in an art museum. I love how expressive all of the Frankenstein characters are and how they move. It's like it came from an animated movie and it's so impressive! The music fits well here. Especially with the animation! As always, the animation is smooth as heck and the colours are just magnificent. Every single time, you keep on making one banger music video to the next and every time, each one outlasts the latest one. Bright, you keep on leaving me with my face in shock and my mouth wide open. There is no lie that you are the absolute best and it's stuff like this, is no wonder why you're a god of all kinds of art and animation. Keep up with the great, amazing work as always! I'm looking forward for the next music video you do!
you're really out here reflecting the obsession every single frankenstein fan has with what would have happened if victor hadn't abandoned the creature. watching this is a transcendent experience, thank you
Agreed this seems like an amazing show idea, honestly it feels like i just watched trailer for a new show, also the animation is incredible and the months you worked on this paid off in my opinion cause this is so cool
I'm always happy to come back to this video when I see it in my recommended. I haven't seen this in other comments, but I adore the shadow of the rib cage and the end title card. They satisfy an itch in my brain.
hey??? this is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen??? the way you draw all these characters is just AMAZING!!! keep it up dude, you're insanely talented.
This gives me life, the animation is so fluid, the character design is ✨✨✨✨✨✨ and the storyline is the best thing to ever happen to Victor and Creechur
You've taken my favorite book of all time and turned it into something incredible. The animation and characters and backgrounds and editing and colors are just gorgeous. This is the best retelling of Frankenstein I've ever seen!
I adore the book Frankenstein as one of my favorite books but I honestly have fallen in love with your retelling and now am so hyper fixated-I watched this and literally got so happy
I ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS LIKE FORGET THE ARTSTYLE (dont actually forget it its perfect) THE WAY THE STORY WAS TOLD AND ALL THOSE EMOTIONS? THIS IS PURE GOLD
This animation is utterly stunning and your art is gorgeous mate! Watching this makes me feel like I'm looking into a gateway of an incredibly unique and curious world, and it kinda makes me feel like a kid again, being insanely inspired and in utter awe of the creativity of it all. I would absolutely watch an animated series and/or read a webcomic of this in a heartbeat!
OH MY GOD THE DETAIL. I’m so glad to have found this gem of a channel!! Every single one of your animations is a masterpiece- I don’t even have context for most of them, but I LOVE THEM ALL! you’ve gotten me into so many fandoms, just with your amazing artwork! Seriously, this is gorgeous. Wonderfully done 👏👏💗
holy shit, this is amazing. i started following you because i love the ddlc/lower your expectations crossover and all the little things you added into it. but, this is on a whole nother level also, someone recently read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein lol. i don't blame you for making this, the book is very inspiring, and this amv captures it perfectly
This has to be...one of the most beautiful animations I have ever seen. It felt like watching a whole show in just a few minutes. This is amazing and I’m happy I saw it!
I'm around halfway through the book (at the part where the monster is hiding in the hut beside the cottage) and it's so heartbreaking because I already know from the countless adaptations how it will end for him, but I still want the story to somehow go in his favor. This animation is both very uplifting as it helps me image a scenario where the monster is treated properly, but also sad as it highlights how tragic the original story is for all people involved.
This is... beautiful. So, so beautiful. I really hope this becomes a webcomic, because I would read the life out of it. (Also, that bit with old Victor and Creature's skeleton had me in tears.)
This is so beautiful, I've cried to this at least 50 times, if not more. The visuals are stunning, the story telling is stunning, and even though I don't know everything in this retelling of the story, I feel such a deep connection to everything in it. I really, REALLY hope something becomes of this. Animated series, comic book, hell even a short novel, I don't care, just anything that will fill in the blanks and delivery this already wonderous reimagine of a classic masterpiece
THIS IS PHENOMENAL I ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT.... This plays like a trailer/teaser thing I just LOVE IT Ive watched it like 7 times THE DETAILS AND THE BACKGROUNDS AND THE SHOTS N IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT BUT AUAUGUYGU I MUST SEE MORE
As one with a wild imagination and an affinity for mythical and cryptic creatures your first video with your version of Frankenstein caught my interest but this has me completely enamored, I'm quite interested to see more! every single frame of this was absolutely beautiful❤
I would LOVE to see this as a series! Absolutely gorgeous! Every one of these little moments makes me curious to see the context for it within the plot.
You need to be the director of a cartoon show that runs about two seasons. And make this. I would love to watch more of your animations this was so good
YESSSSSSSS FRANKENSTEIN FANBASE LETS GOOOOOO. No but seriously, I love the fact that the Monster can live his life how he wanted to be. I love this and I love you for making this cuz I’m so invested in this that I can’t even-
this is feeding my sudden hyperfixation on the novel (it's my fourth readthrough pls send help) SO good omg your design for both Victor and the monster is so good and showing the monster actually be happy and be allowed to enjoy the things that bring him joy without being scorned for it is making me feel some type of way
I wholeheartedly encourage you to keep pursuing this project. Your animations are wonderful! You could turn this into a comic book or an animated series, it wouldn’t be easy of course, and it’s completely up to you, but still. This is some wonderful work ❤️

1:41 THAT WAS SO SMOOTH

and to reply to a few things:
1:06 That is the frankenstein house!
1:15 They are drinking just wine pftt, not blood, he's not a vampire as much as it would be cool if he was
1:22 I think it's 'aurora borealis' but I think just 'aurora' works too. Or 'Northern lights'
1:24 Anatomy is hard as shit and I'm still figuring it out ashdhsh drawing from life or real life reference helps, remembering basic structure rules like for example the foot has to be as long as the forearm, or that there are typically 6 or 7 heads in a body, looking at muscle reference too (I'm gonna need a loooot of muscle reference for Frankenstein stuff lmaoo)
Thank you again dhfnsdnh I love seeing your comments on here and on twitter as well thank you
@@Brightgoat YOU REPLIED * decomposes *
social experiment: gonna try asking my parents for money hope it goes well
also wishing you the best of luck with muscles!! they're hard as fuck but i'm sure you can do it
btw THANK YOUUUu i love pouring my admiration into comments/tweets so glad you enjoy reading them :'D

I just KNOW that this is gonna slap so hard
My god. The animation was god tier. The lighting was awesome, the characters were really interesting and fun to look at, and the background were really beautiful. The music fit really well and you did a fantastic job.
thank you ;o; the music is 'Dead' by Apashe, he makes such amazing stuff check him out
@@Brightgoat Nice
Porin will honor the creature!
The beautiful creature that the only thing it deserves is acceptance.
The way that Vic lowers his hand a bit when his creation looks at Vic with a smile on his face is a really nice touch. From what I've seen of this AU, this is on of the most integral differences in their relationship.
Oh my god what I wouldn’t give to see this as a fully animated series or webcomic, I’d fully encourage you to pitch it to a studio someday !!!
I like how you included elements of the original and modern depictions of Frankenstein's Monster. In the original The Monster was described as rather handsome aside his eyes. And the more obvious modern representation with the pale green/dark green skin, slightly asymmetrical proportions and various stitches.
Oml, I love your animations.
Every time I watch them I get a big, stupid grin on my face and I don't know why.
Lol :)
I honestly can't believe how gorgeous this is.
I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THIS-
In a perfect world, this would be a show and I’m sure everyone would watch it 😌
I would most certainly watch it!
I am in utter awe.
This is such a stunning piece of animation; tones, colors, music, lighting GOODNESS it all comes together magically.
I'm already so invested in these characters, I cannot WAIT to see what you have in store next!
It looks like the trailer of something amazing
As a fan of Mary Shelley Frankenstein, I really love your spin to her novel and your animation is very well done.
This is a whole other level of incredible. The backgrounds are so well lit and detailed, the poses are so dynamic and expressive, and the animation is so smooth! Your work never fails to inspire me.
I adore this. The creature getting to be happy is what I always wanted. And the animation is just gorgeous.
Y'all are ready
I’m sorry, but the sunrise at the beginning HAS to be my favorite part, so smooth and the colors are such great contrast to the blue electricity before 😚👌
This looks cool and is a really interesting trailer. It gives a feel for the sort of relationships between the characters. I love the part where the shadow of the ribcage moves with the rising sun
CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE BEGINNING SHOT'S SHADING THOUGH?!?!??!??!?!
Please, please make an animated series of this!!! This is just so beautiful, i really want to see how the story plays out, and who all the characters are.
Sweet baby mama, now THIS is sum k u a l i t y content! Every goddamned _frame_ was beautiful
Having finally read the full novel, I have truly gained a much deeper appreciation for these animations. You continue to awe and inspire me and thousands of others. Your works are truly masterpieces, and I hope to see more of this story in the future.
*now if you'll excuse me i have to go screech like a pterodactyl and show this to all my friends.*
thank you, and thank you for showing it to others!!
Thank you very much ;u; the detail was taxing but it paid off in the end.
and I'm glad you like the creature heheh
God i wish i could make this an animated series, but i might have to do with webcomic, which is alright (if i ever even make it lmao)
All the small details have me in a CHOKEHOLD right now. Like how when the blonde girl (sorry never read the book) sews, she lifts up a single piece of thread instead of the needle poking through the bottom like most artists draw it.
Just as predicted everyone, the most epic AMV ever.
But srsly it's incredibly beautiful, definitely worth the wait!!
ah this was so cool! it felt like i was watching a trailer for a movie and for a hot sec i was thinking "if this comes out after quarantine imma force my entire family to go to the theater with me to see this"
after taking a Gothic tales class and actually reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, this animatic means so much more to me
Aaa the anatomy, animation, the shading and lighting (I love the way the shadows and light move during sunrise scene.) and scenery. Everything is amazing and breathtaking! I aspire to be as good as you one day! Thank you for inspiration.
thank you! those sunrise scenes were so time consuming and challenging but im fairly happy with the result!
This is so incredible I can’t-
The character designs are so cool and this is so amazing
THIS IS GOD TIER ANIMATION. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! 👏👏👏
This animation is incredible!! I love how the monster has painted nails
Dude, this is incredible!! This must have taken so much work, I can't believe it!
it did ='D its been in the works since May last year
@@Brightgoat that's amazing! I'm trying to drag my ass out of the gutter and animate my own short, so I'm taking notes! This is so fantastic, I don't even have words.
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL, I ADMIRED EVERY SECOND
Анимация невероятная, рисовка очень мне нравится и сюжет такой что вполне можно целый фильм снять
OMG!! I'm legit crying, this was AMAZING!!! Like, HOLY COW!!! Pure talent!!
You're actually telling me that THAT isn't a series !! HERESY Netflix should hired you cause this Is F***ING INCREDIBLE
I'm looking forward for the next music video you do!
you're really out here reflecting the obsession every single frankenstein fan has with what would have happened if victor hadn't abandoned the creature. watching this is a transcendent experience, thank you
I absolutely adore how you desired to explore other means of reaninating dead and how people use it for different reasons in different ways
This was absolutely gorgeous and fantastic keep up the amazing work bright goat
This gives me life, the animation is so fluid, the character design is ✨✨✨✨✨✨ and the storyline is the best thing to ever happen to Victor and Creechur
Those backgrounds are so beautiful hjnfjh this is amazing Bright oh my
You've taken my favorite book of all time and turned it into something incredible. The animation and characters and backgrounds and editing and colors are just gorgeous. This is the best retelling of Frankenstein I've ever seen!
thank you very much =D i loved the book too
I think we can all agree that this deserves its own movie/tv show. Because I would watch that!
I adore the book Frankenstein as one of my favorite books but I honestly have fallen in love with your retelling and now am so hyper fixated-I watched this and literally got so happy
I WANT TO SEE THIS AS AN ANIMATED SERIES SO BADDD YOU DONT EVEN KNOWWW
I ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS
LIKE FORGET THE ARTSTYLE (dont actually forget it its perfect) THE WAY THE STORY WAS TOLD AND ALL THOSE EMOTIONS? THIS IS PURE GOLD
This animation is utterly stunning and your art is gorgeous mate! Watching this makes me feel like I'm looking into a gateway of an incredibly unique and curious world, and it kinda makes me feel like a kid again, being insanely inspired and in utter awe of the creativity of it all. I would absolutely watch an animated series and/or read a webcomic of this in a heartbeat!
Absolutely beautiful! The colours, the movement, the planning?!!! It all came together so well!
Mary Shelley would definetely be proud
words can't express how much I love this
OH MY GOD THE DETAIL.
I'll never not have a love for versions where he's loved and kept, and this one is especially beautiful, holy shit
holy shit, this is amazing. i started following you because i love the ddlc/lower your expectations crossover and all the little things you added into it. but, this is on a whole nother level
also, someone recently read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein lol. i don't blame you for making this, the book is very inspiring, and this amv captures it perfectly
This makes me feel like im watching something from my childhood. Absolutely masterfull.
Well, this is an absolute masterpiece.
As a big Frankenstein fan I gotta say I love this au!
Literally full of talent this one, there’s shading, there’s actual story, there’s everything a Disney movie would have. You’re sooo underrated!
This has to be...one of the most beautiful animations I have ever seen. It felt like watching a whole show in just a few minutes. This is amazing and I’m happy I saw it!
THIS IS SO LOVELY
i loved seeing all these characters come to life like this, it was incredible! youre so extremely talented
I'm around halfway through the book (at the part where the monster is hiding in the hut beside the cottage) and it's so heartbreaking because I already know from the countless adaptations how it will end for him, but I still want the story to somehow go in his favor. This animation is both very uplifting as it helps me image a scenario where the monster is treated properly, but also sad as it highlights how tragic the original story is for all people involved.
i love you and your art!! thank you for letting us see this masterpiece
This is...
This needs to be a series
I don't give af how long it takes, or what company makes it,
It just needs to be
THIS IS PHENOMENAL I ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT....
This plays like a trailer/teaser thing I just LOVE IT Ive watched it like 7 times
THE DETAILS AND THE BACKGROUNDS AND THE SHOTS N IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT BUT AUAUGUYGU
I MUST SEE MORE
As one with a wild imagination and an affinity for mythical and cryptic creatures your first video with your version of Frankenstein caught my interest but this has me completely enamored, I'm quite interested to see more! every single frame of this was absolutely beautiful❤
I would LOVE to see this as a series! Absolutely gorgeous! Every one of these little moments makes me curious to see the context for it within the plot.
This should definitely get a whole series
You need to be the director of a cartoon show that runs about two seasons. And make this. I would love to watch more of your animations this was so good
if this isn't a show/graphic novel/webcomic im rioting this is so good- every frame is GORGEOUS, bravo my friend
This was so amazing and incredible!!! All those scenes!!! I'm SCREAMING
YESSSSSSSS FRANKENSTEIN FANBASE LETS GOOOOOO. No but seriously, I love the fact that the Monster can live his life how he wanted to be. I love this and I love you for making this cuz I’m so invested in this that I can’t even-
this is feeding my sudden hyperfixation on the novel (it's my fourth readthrough pls send help) SO good omg your design for both Victor and the monster is so good and showing the monster actually be happy and be allowed to enjoy the things that bring him joy without being scorned for it is making me feel some type of way
I'm going to be straight up and say that was the coolist thing I have seen in a while and I can't wait to see more of what you have got in store
This is beautiful- it reminds me of the opening of an animated series, and has me just as invested.
Incredible work!
I wholeheartedly encourage you to keep pursuing this project. Your animations are wonderful! You could turn this into a comic book or an animated series, it wouldn’t be easy of course, and it’s completely up to you, but still. This is some wonderful work ❤️
AHAHHH THIS IS INCREDIBLE i’m completely obsessed, the backgrounds and character expressions are so amazing
This feels like a movie trailer it's just so amazing, and the animation itself illustrates they story so well.
If this ever mad into an animated series everything would be at peace in the world for me, oh my gosh!
