-Why is your channel called sophdoesnails? I started my Instagram account a couple years before RUclips, where I did loads of nail art. When I started youtube I wanted to keep the same name so I was easier to find! Nail videos are too difficult to film + I prefer makeup!

Sadly there will be people who will say “but it’s a giveaway it’s supposed to be free are you for real?” Because there are people like that who don’t get and respect soph. But I would happily pay £5 postage because like you say it’s worth a lot of money what’s £5. I hate the people who are disrespectful and annoyed like cmon.
100% this is a great idea! I would definitely pay for a box full of make-up for my collection and client kit for that cheap!
You should do a meeting greet and every person who meets up with you gets to pick from the box of make up
For all the makeup that is in the box for friends, family, and people, you could also set up a free store, which would help decrease the number of items in the box, however if you do it online you could make it to where the only thing that the costumer would have to pay for is shipping. As for the used eyeshadow pallets, you could use them to try out some diy makeup ideas or hacks that are floating around the web.For example, diy blush and compare it to one of your favorites. They can also be used for creative ideas or projects you may have. For example, trying to recreate a certain shade color of another pallete that you like or following a Bob Ross tutorial using only eyeshadow.

Idea for the mass amount of makeup is doing mystery giveaways on depop and just asking the person to pay for the packaging because some brands do not like people selling their PR packages.

Put them on vinted, the buyer pays for postage and you can state whether the item is used.

Plus, you could do a few eBay listings for some giveaway boxes then let people bid, take out what the postage will cost you and give the rest of the money to charity! That might help you streamline your collection without costing you loads for postage!😋

I have a great tip for you!! Tati actually does this: when she's sorting through pr and make-up, she makes smaller boxes of videos she wants to film or just make-up she wants to play with in general. This way, she gets to test out a lot of the make-up and doesn't fall back into the same products over and over again just because she doesn't know what she owns! Maybe you could try this out with some stackable boxes you can then label and stuff :D ♥

I wish I had money for these types of things😔 I’ve always loved makeup but I don’t have the money to afford it. When I get to do it it’s when I use my friends makeup and that’s only for nights out. It’s satisfying to see things like this though.

I had a similar idea to the person who suggested selling mystery boxes on Depop. Each box could be light/medium/dark so the shades of products have more chance of matching the buyer. Good luck organising💗

I think a lot of us would gratefully pay the shipping for a box like that, since it really can get expensive with heavier/bigger boxes. With the overall value of the products in it, it would be sooo worth it! 😅 (Not to mention the fact that we would be receiving a box from you!!)
you could sell a lot of the new stuff on poshmark or depop for super cheap! You don’t have to pay for postage either because the app takes care of it. You just have to print out a shipping label and package it up which you could reuse the boxes you have

I recommend getting off of pr lists for brands or companies that you don’t like or don’t find yourself using. Or only receive PR from your favorite brands. That way you can cut down on how much you are receiving and can buy what you actually want to use if you haven’t received it in Pr.
