Thank you for the video! This was so helpful because we chose the same model but because it was so late in the development of the plan, they didn't have any for us to walk through. We are in the process of choosing our design upgrades. I'm going back and forth on the fireplace. In your video, I noticed there's something plugged in next to the fireplace- is that cord the cord to the fireplace or is all the electrical in the fireplace completely built in and you can't see it?
Love your master bathroom mosaic around the tub!! Girlllll all your Crystal is beautiful 😝 I also love that deck and backyard! Lol my husband would love that basement too lol your husband too funny!😂
We love the upgrades you chose for the house... its absolutely beautiful!!! Congratulations on such a big step!!! We all be closing on our own home ever soon!! We can't wait!!💞💗💖💝
Oh wow but there are so many options for a second family space the 2nd bedroom has the option of being a loft, but I completely understand the basement really makes this house.
Your home is beautiful. I saw in some of your comments you plan on doing a home update when you get things how you want it. But if you can be so kind take us on the ride.
I'd love too but I don't think it would help. The price of upgrades depends on each community. I'm close with someone who built the same house in a different state and some of my upgrades were included features in her home. I hope this helps some
We just looked at this exact model yesterday and absolutely love it! The only thing we wish was that the master bedroom was the same size as our current bedroom. I have to buy new furniture to accommodate the different size master bedroom (which I planned to do so anyways) but my question to you is were you able to fit a king size bed as well as 2 night stands and dresser w a mirror in the master? Didn’t want to clutter the room w too much. Your house is gorgeous & can’t wait to move into ours! 😍
Thank you for watching!! ❤️ It definitely will fit a king sized bed and two nightstands we actually had a dresser and mirror two nightstands and a kings sized bed. I think it depends on the size of the dresser and mirror ours was small. The master seems small but there’s a lot of room! I just posted the furnished house tour on my page but the master bed room is empty so maybe not much help there.
SO fun! Love watching these home building process videos!! We legit did the same thing. We built a Ryan Homes Corsica Model! How are you guys liking it now that it's been about a year? Ps: subscribing!! :)
Thank you!! We love it! There was a few things I wish we had stayed on top of from the start of the building process but everything is working itself out! Congratulations on you Corsica!!!
Congratulations!! I’m currently building with Ryan Homes too (Versailles plan). I’m happy to be a part of your YT community and hope you’ll be a part of mine 😊
Thank you!!! Congratulations to you too!!! The Versaille is a beautiful plan! I just subscribed I can't wait to see your updates throughout your process!!!
if you buy a new house ... don't bring a realtor with you... if you bring it, builder has to give them 3%...just tell them you want free upgrade, they will give it to you bc you don't have a realtor..just tell them that.. u will save 20-30k on that...
Sometimes but not aways we didn't have a realtor and they weren't budging on free upgrades. That only works in an area which isn't in high demand based off the housing market and area.
@@ariellehawkins-williams7593 If you don't have a realtor, that's a huge disadvantage. I bought couple houses so i know. If you don't have a realtor, builder does not need to pay 3% so they are going to save that 3%... deal with them on closing cost..ask them to pay bc u don't have a realtor. If you don't know anything, they will try to get your money as much as possible. If they say No...just leave..they will call u back in couple weeks..that's how is it... they always say NO at the beginning but that agent will ask her boss...then they will get back to you. It does not matter if it's demanding or not, if u don't have a realtor , you give 3% extra free money to builder already
@@ariellehawkins-williams7593 I bought a townhouse for 500k... i did not have a realtor... i asked them to give me FREE UPGRADE and they said NO... after a few weeks, they called me and they gave me 30k free upgrade... they did not complete my house on time...they gave me 10k bc they did not complete it on time... Don't listen to seller..they are trying to sell you at high price so they can get a huge commission... they complete that house only 100k and they sell it to people for 500k.. they do make a lot of money... that's why you can negotiate
@@ariellehawkins-williams7593 also, try to hire HOME INSPECTOR ..you pay them 200 bucks... they come to look at it to make sure everything is good... i did hire them 2 times...they did inspect the house for many hours.... if u don't hire them, you might have problem with heating later on... I am trying to buy another house end of 2021 bc i know house price will drop huge next year...
@@BabyGangsterIsMe I agree with the home Inspector that's one thing we are talking about since our one year bumper to bumper warranty isn't up. Also this is our second house and we had a realtor with our first home(which we still own and have turn that into an investment property.) They did help with the process. With this house we did not have a Realtor and I understand your point but if you are going to play cat and mouse with the builder you have to be willing to not get a call back. The area we live in is in high demand. If you are okay with possible walking away from the property that then it's maybe worth the risk, but I don't want people to read your comment and think that will always be the case. In our area with our house there was only 4 lots left and they sold out the next week. So if we had played that game we would have most defiantly lost.
Beautiful Home! Thanks for sharing the empty house tour! #congrats

I'm 3 years late, but I hope you are still happy in this beautiful home.

Beautiful home💛💛
Thank you!!!
Nice house , what's the color of the house? Is it georgian gray? 👍
Hi, It's pewter with Navy accents
Mind if I ask what price point was for this with the features you guys went with? We are discussing the possibility of doing a Ryan Home!
Ours was around 300k, I'm not sure if that helps because different area's have different base prices but hopeful that helps a little.
Arielle Hawkins-Williams thank you!!
How much cost you the optional finished basement with the bathroom?
Congratulations on your new home. What's the name of color on the exterior of the house?
It's Pewter with navy blue shutters
@@ariellehawkins-williams7593 Thanks, that's the same color Ryan Homes picked out for us.
Love it! How much was it to finish the basement?
Beautiful home! Love!! Will you do a furnished tour?
Thank you!!! ❤️Yes I will! I just want to get everything the way I like before I do!!

Ok I'm noticing Ryan homes dnt have garden/reg tub... is this nt a option..beautiful home btw
Not an option in this model, but there are a few home models that do have it as an option. It's a upgraded owners bath
Is the base price lower if you decide to get the loft space instead of a 4th bedroom?
Actually it's not it was an extra $500 to get the loft. I'm not sure if that was for just our community but it was more.
Can you do a updated house tour?
That's the plan I want to get everything in place and completed before I do!
