Omg thank you so much for this! It's just what I needed to build up the rest of my courage to push forward with moving to Taiwan. I was so stressed about finding a place, but sounds like it shouldn't be too hard? ahh🥺

This video is pretty friendly and useful to foreigners in Taiwan🤩.But I thought that the function of post stickers "Taiwanese pork" are to make a distinction between local porks and the porks included Ractopamine.(for health concern

Hi! Since you mentioned the Zih Chiang dorm situation, I was wondering if you think it's worth it to look for another room even if you only stay for an exchange (4-5 months)? Are there a lot of international students in Zih Chiang master's dorm 10 / is it easy to find friends there? I heard that lots of international students stay at i-House on lower campus...

Hello! If you are coming to NCCU on exchange, I think the dorm is a good choice. All the Masters degree students that live on campus live in either the Zih Chiang dorms (specifically Dorm 10) or I-house.
I-house is much closer to transportation and the rest of campus, but it is much more expensive.

@@shenAnnigans thanks for your answer! Since I didn't get a spot in i-House, my only other option would be to rent off-campus, which I am not sure is worth the hassle when only staying for 5 months? I am quite nervous about sharing my room haha

hi! A question about melatonin. Is it legal to bring melatonin from outside??? Because I am planning to bring my whole bottle there and I wonder if melatonin is prohibited/illegal there..

Hello! As far as I am aware, it is not illegal to bring melatonin for personal use, but it is illegal to sell. I also recall hearing that you can only bring a maximum of 12 bottles. I would double check on the ministry of health and welfare website! www.mohw.gov.tw/np-120-2.html

You can do w.e you want with the melatonin with the exception of selling it. The only thing they care about bringing over at the customs is meat.
