Tour of my New Ham Shack in Florida - Ham Radio Unlimited - S2E2

- When we moved from Maryland to Florida we moved from a nice piece of land with no HOA where I had a 50 ft tower to an HOA restricted community where antennas are not permitted.
In addition to having restrictions we moved into a house with less than half of the square footage. For the first year I was working out of our master bedroom and had a very simple shack.
We added on a new room for my office, workshop and shack. This is a tour of the new shack. If you have see my previous videos of me building my last hamhack (at the old house) some of this will look familiar.

Super!
Great video! I also just moved to Florida and am trying to get my shack back in order. Biggest challenge for me at the moment is coming up with ideas on getting my VHF/UHF antenna up high as I can in my deed restricted community.
I understand :). The highest I can get is what can go in my attic. If you have seen my Antennas in an HOA restricted community video you can see how much I have crammed into my attic. I do miss the tower I had in Maryland.
Looks a nice shack de 2e0ree
Thank You!
Nice setup Mike! KD2KPL
Thanks Nick!
Nice shack! Could you provide more information on the soundboard / audio controller that you are using?
I am using a Behringer XR16 which is a rack mounted digital soundboard. Not as nice as the X32 but it works great for what I use it for. The iPad is how I control it most of the time. I also have the software loaded on the shack computer as well. You do not see it in the video because it is mounted in the back of one of the racks.
