So your telling me that I should go swap out every ballast for 3v pover supply? Connect the leds in sieres so it is mains compatible.

Need help I have 5mm white led which resistance are use for best performance??....by using 10 LEDs in parallel...5v input
Depends on the current. But for 20 mA per LED, you should use a 100 Ohm resistor for every LED (or 2 5 Ohm .5w resistors for all LEDs)

I make same led lamp(but without tube for my fish tank) and it work perfectly with power bank / phone charger... I get the led from discarded emergency lamp.... 😜

A fused UltraViolet Tube (UV Tube) can also be used, so that cleaning inside tube will be very very less, sometimes no cleaning required at all.

That tube has mercury and other hazardous material and you handled without any protection. i suggest better get a clear tube and do the same thing.

Why?
cfl means compact fluorescent lamp and this is just fluorescent tube. Cfl means that is complete with ballast together
