About the name, i have to agree, Alien City is a pretty boring name for such an ambitious project, it gives a very bad taste of "Oh, this is gonna be grove street on moon model made in 15 minute" vibe. That's why most of this mod's admiers (at least in Russian segment) call it by it's second name "Anderius", not Alien City
Its because the mod was 1st made for Vice City, made up by a kid from the very early days of Vice City modding, then ported it all to GTASA on PC and he didnt speak nor write English properly or at all. So he chose the most generic name but still to associate itself with Vice City so people find it easier. The name Anderius is a name from a updated version that came out 5 years later by a new modder, but the old name stuck for a reason too probably for the older players got use to the name so they can find it easier also the fact that there were different versions floating around so chances are you either played the old versions or new one.
the concept alone is just dripping in creativity. It's so sad that we'll never see an actual AAA studio put this much raw love and passion into such a project, because while it's lacking polish it could go somewhere
I think the ending could be really good, the idea that your fight was for nothing and the guy you were helping just wanted to be in charge of the corporation he said you'd destroy totally fits the tone of a lot of dark sci-fi, but execution is everything.
Those “history” mods are a whole new world for me and thanks to you im going to try some of them like zombie vc and this one.. keep it on this man great work!!
You have brought good old memories to me! I remember back in around 2010 when I bough a copy of this game on a CD together with Gta 3 Snow City. I got it from a local store in Western Ukraine. As I was a kid back then I didn't really delve into the storyline, I was just enjoing playing it on my Windows XP. Now being grown up I recalled those vibes from childhood and found your video. Gotta download this priceless mod and try it again after 14+ years :)))
Some of the areas have a really strong gta 2 vibe. This mod is almost like a glimpse at what gta 2 could have been like if it was 3D. Based on the renders and concept art anyway. Also those pedestrians are fantastic and so goofy

That's the point of Cyberpunk distopyas, a single person/group wouldn't be able to defeat the system alone without heavy inside help or a lot,and I mean A LOT, of civilian help,just like real life. As fan of Sci-Fi and Space theme, It's literally my most favorite and this mod for me makes it look like a Halo with urban crimes in Third-Person than First-Person. SF-UR Station definitely has Space/Sci-Fi like songs for the mission adventures in this Sci-Fi mega-mod. There are so many McDonalds in that mega-mod and this should have capacity to buy and eat faster hamburgers from there than having to inject yourself and drinking soda cans from vending machines. The Russians are enormous experts in modding. I had even met a fantasy mod for GTA San Andreas made by russells too called Mushroomia. I wish this was a bigger mega-mod like Alien City including a large map with fantasy theme structures, save-houses, missions, vehicles and NPCs.

for those people experiencing crash in AC, copy your audio file from original GTA SA then paste it inside AC folder, then delete lots of cleo mods that arent necessary , for the scm please use Prog's Update USCM, then just follow instruction.
Grand Theft Auto Anderius. Some of the creators made grand theft auto criminal russia which is another example of modders pushing san andreas to it's limits.
9:11 if i could bet, that speedometer was done specifically for non-widescreen version of SA, i remember similar thing in Criminal Russia Beta 2, it has its own Speedometer, i downloaded Widescreen Fix, and game started crashing, i deleted Speedometer and game started to working
ok i finally figured out how to get this thing installed and running. i'm running into a huge problem tho, so the speedometer when you use widescreen fix is completely broken taking up most the screen. is there any way to remove the speedometer? i can't find anything online about it.
It could be the widescreen fix itself. I'm not sure. I got my version of the fix from the essentials fixes pack from Mixmods and just drag and dropped it from there, and that worked for me.

i tried that interiors mod and its completely broken i wouldn't recommend installing it. most interiors you can't even exit once you enter and the ones you can exit you just fall randomly in the water somewhere lol

This song from 1999 is one huge joke about black stereotypes. I hope there is eng dubs for kayf-life, because it's basically russian crack-life but for hl2. There is currently 3 known versions: only voice(2007), reloaded v1.5(2011), and remake(2017). I prefer version from 2011, but remake is technically cooler.

Maybe you should try Criminal Russia one day, lol. It had multiplayer, CRMP, the map is big and has a lot lf easter eggs. The mod isn't super high quality though and features only like 2 missions.

I run all my modded san andreas gta3 vice city on window 7 windows 10 will crash for me. On windows 10 windows defender throws a hissy fit.

GTA and subtle aren't words I would tend to use together to be honest, lol. GTA's satire has never been subtle imo.
