The crybabies have had decades to get charter flights, they have had decades to get audience attendance up 300-400% and FAILED, they have had decades to get real TV coverage and FAILED, they have had decades to need bigger game facilities and failed, they have had decades to get the same merchandise sales and failed...They MAY have been good against the other players of their time but NOT ONE ignited the fan enthusiasm of Clark's presence at ANY EVENT - NOT just basketball. MAYBE... the reason "nada for clark" is the same EXACT reason it is promotion FOR clark. Clark is the only one who doesn't have Nike's support, therefore is the reason for publicity (negative and positive). Every time CC is "rejected" by Nike is reason to point out Clark's uniqueness and under-appreciation.

Exactly when was it that the WNBA PROMOTED Caitlin Clark. It seem tne majority of any promotion has been done by fans on social media. All the league has done is whine. Even her major award (Rookie of the year) was never PRESENTED properly. She got a phone call during a pregame practice. Big wooping deal. Now that is privilage... league privilage. Get all the benifits of a record setting player without having to publically saying thankyou. And the whiners havent said it properly yet. But they are fast to cry when some other group says thankyou.
I'm sorry, you can't blame all those years of being underfunded, underviewed, and underattended on Caitlin. She wasn't there yet. That was all your responsibility. Now she is here and many others to round out her squad. Now you are going to see some real basketball. We will pass out the tissues for the rest of you.
