Johan Hegg finally fully metamorphized into Odin himself
Lol
Yea
04:24 About Odin Owns You All.
Johan Hegg: It is a battlecry. There are two armies and a spear is thrown. Vikings did it because... - a lot of things he said about it - (actually it was pretty interesting!)
Johan Söderberg: I wrote this track because I was pissed off because my girlfriend was on the other side of the planet and we could not see each other.
LMAO
My fave is Heidrun🤘🏽Great album Seeing Amon Amarth with The Halo Effect and Machine Head on September 23 in Oslo🤘🏽
Excellent album
Heidrun is a phenomenal song!!
nice little breakdown, looking forward to the other parts
I don ´t know why but everytime i watch those Guys they seem to be very down to Earth and smart too -)
You know it´s hard to judge someone if you don´t know them personally, they have a very natural and kind Appearance.
Can ´t wait to see them with Machine Head on 17 September in Vienna, so cheerse Guys and raise your Horns !!!!!!!!
One of my favourite bands. There's a story to be told, and it has to be told like *this*.
I absolutely love the contrast between "This is a battle cry that preceded a large battle in the Sagas," and "I wrote this riff because I was pissed off I couldn't see my girlfriend," when discussing Oden Owns You All XD
Saw you guys in 2019 at HOB Las Vegas and it was the best show of my life.
"ODEN OWNS YOU ALL!" is a new gem from AA, shit's brutal and paints the story of Aesir vs. Vanir conflict in an epic way.
Seen AA twice once at Barcelona Rockfest once in Copenhagen at Copenhell both festivals killer shows. Now seeing them in Oslo on September 23🤘🏽with Machine head and The Halo Effect🤘🏽
So we got something in common !!
Find a way or make one really helped to push me out of my comfort zone in a lot of way and kind of reality checked me so thank you for that! Saxons and Vikings is so cool hearing from the two different perspectives going into battle, it was executed very nicely 👌 GITR AND TGHA are great especially when working out it summons something from within, and honestly this whole album makes you feel like you're riding into battle and a celebratory victory with Heidrun!
My personal album of the year! And I am not even a big fan of Amon Amarth! :) Great work!
Awesome 😎
🔥🔥🔥
Vi ses i stockholm i september :) dock utan holmgång, haha
Why is it only rich people say the crap about ‘take control of your life’
I have Viking blood and violence is a good thing to inflict on my enemies!🤘🏻
Lol, you won't do a thing
cringe
@@nomdeguerre8464 already did it blubs! 5th infantry division U.S. Army
@@TSE_WOODY you children boy I’d love to see your chubby face when the food doesn’t make it to the shelves. You Burger King babies are always the first to cry!
@@robert.m4676 that has zero to do with your heritage, phony
It's a really great album. I would say that this is the best overall record since Twilight of the Thunder God. Not one bad song, no filler.
Hopefully better than Great Heathen Army by Iced Earth...
The Great Heathen Army - Wack by Wack.
My kid enjoys your pirate sounding metal, I'll stick with KSE tyvm lol
Dude, just cut your beard. Just wear a wig on stage. It's fine. We still love you.
One of their most boring album.
Track by track
It’s all generic shit we’ve been shoving into mouths for years. We’re never gonna be above average because we’re a stadium band now like sabaton.
A little too harsh, but I do think this is a mediocre album by their own standards.
@@nomdeguerre8464 took me a lot of listening sessions to really get into it. Overall a good album, Saxons and Vikings being a massive banger. The vocals are at its best imo too
Not at all, the songs are much better written than the ones on Jomsviking or Berserker. The best thing about the album is that every song feels very different from each other and that was done on purpose. The guitarist, the main songwritter, said so. The first half of the album is catchy, the second half is very grimmy. The last two songs are a perfect closure and Saxons and Vikings is just the bangerest banger they have every written.
Saxons and Vikings is an amazing track! The rest of the songs is just as generic as Berserker and most of Jomsviking and Deceiver was…
Hey Doc, Your opinion would have sounded better if you kept it to yourself. Maybe Justin Bieber is more up your alley since you are clearly incapable of seeing the genius within this album. (:
