    This is a clip from my online anxiety, OCD and depression recovery and self-help treatment course / theanxietyspecialist where I explore one of the missing links in recovery from most mental health issues - and that is ENERGY.
    All mental health conditions leave the person exhausted and in a fearful (and low energy) mindset, thus thinking in pessimistic, doubtful and negative ways.
    By considering that thoughts might have differing energy levels that affect us (and those around us), we may be able to raise our frequency and use less energy - and, perhaps, access higher energy attractor fields.
    For example, it takes much less energy to love than to hate, plus we attract love back to us. Forgiving uses less energy than continuing to blame. Acceptance may use less energy than trying to control.
    The Dr David R Hawkins Map of Consciousness is the best way I have discovered to understand how energy and its effect on thinking patterns might operate, plus my own experience of overcoming anxiety, OCD and depression through adopting his teachings bear it out.
    However, even if you are not yet ready to accept or believe that energy plays a role in your happiness, this model makes a lot of sense regarding what types of attitudes, mindsets, and behaviours may be more beneficial for a healthy and happy life.
