This is a great idea! I started learning how to do embroidery recently. I got the small stamped embroidery kit from Hobby Lobby. I found it easier as a beginner to use the stamped because the picture is already on the cloth, so the focus is more on the learning the stitching process. They also make a bunch of seasonal ones, which is really fun! Cooking is a really good elective too. My kids are always in the kitchen trying to help make dinner.
