Outstanding on so many levels. Most surprising for me how well the limited colour palette has been used - it doesn’t look like a VIC-II at times.
OMG, thanks so much for bringing back so many memories!!!
Old school games i used to play when i were a lad.
Great Giana Sisters, Rainbow Island, Bubble Bobble, IK+, Beachy Head..... the list goes on!
oh my god...I'm old
Now I remember how many games the c64 had.
MEMORIES....how beautieful
Wow! That brought back some memories. Very nicely done!
Brings back so many memories, C64 was so big in there time and even beats some of the gameplay of a few ganes now- and the tunes makes u want to play more!
... Some of them, some by name, others by gameplay.
After my keyboard broke and we've had our X86 desktop, I haven't even looked at most of these... God, 15 years or so now.
I had a C64 back in the early-late 90's, when they were already Old, and my cousin loaded up a TON of games.
SO GOOD!!! Really shows he diversity of the machine! Thanx!
Thanks for taking the time to do this! Great, great memories!
Ehm.. am i an addict when i say that i've recognised about 60% of the games played? And still not done gaming to this day, just a bit upgraded ;-) Thanks for the vid, loved it!
Big Thanks for you work! Nice games!!!
Awesome compilation, brought back many memories, thanks! A few more I loved were Caveman Ugh-lympics (fire making was hilarious), Space - The Ultimate Frontier, The Ultimate Wizard (same engine as Jumpman) and Modem Wars to name a few. I recognized SO many of those tunes! :)
yeah. thanx man. the good old days.
This video is amazing! I had a lot of those titles. I remember microprose soccer. They haven't made any better football game in many years on any system.
thanks for that compilation! it'd be nice to see the game names as subtitles as they appear on the screen.
bring back so many memories tyvm!!! my favourite was spy vs spy and ghostbusters
Thanks, this is indeed the game I was looking for! I totally forgot about the helicopter missions, though. Now that I checked them out, I have to say: Flying the helicopter is annoyingly complicated. But the ground missions are great!

Thank you, I loved the intro music of "Shadowfire", a pity that it's not the whole song.

does anyone remember a game where you were "mayby" flying somekind ship through different colored pipes/ platforms / areas. only as wide your "ship"... speeding through mayby. didnt ever finish even one map as they were huge. u did have to avoid 1 other ship...
Thanks for all the work you've put in this video, it's a nice collection and brings up a lot of good childhood memories!
There's one C64 game I used to play back then, which isn't in the video. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name or many details about it. It was played in bird's-eye perspective and I think you had to infiltrate some kind of base. You were able to enter buildings and steal equipment or something like that. Any idea what game that could be?
Dude, nice.
Wings of Fury.. was one of the best games .. ever. ;)
I only recognized like 5 games, but suddenly i feel like 30% of my child hood has been returned to me.
i love the game double dragon and the last ninja1_2 this was great memories

What are the games at 6:55 and 8:58? I remember those, as well as some of the others. There was also a game with a green blob and caves that I don't recall the name of. There was also one that I liked which had two players who basically drew trails behind them and tried not to hit into each other...one of my favorites. (Think the name started with a T.) Help me out? I also loved Rally Racer (making my own racetracks was fun), Peter Painter, Alice in Wonderland, and Spheroids.

@Codcat Wizard of Wor was, & still is a REAL cool game! I have owned or played every version/port of it. I had it on C64 too BTW, & also Atari 2600/5200 & my cousin had it on the Bally Astrocade (best home port IMO). I remember the arcade version (have it for MAME) & playing it at some Canadian video game arcade, when I was like 10yo, hahaha. BTW, are you into emulators at all? I am always looking for new people/retro game lovers, who are interested in doing a little retro gaming, online.
