Since I was told by my family that we would move to Japan when I enter High School, im starting to watch videos about High schools there, uniforms, education and stuff like that.
What the uniforms the students wear in Japan depends on the environment and climate. In Sapporo they'd wear dark colored long sleeve uniforms where in Naha they'd wear light colored short sleeve uniforms.
1.when do you wash your uniform? isn't it gross to wear the same thing for 5 days? because you don't wash it every day right? 2.aren't you cold in winter? 3. at least you don't need to buy a lot of clothes 4.oh god shaving legs every 2 days....
I'm not her but i do wear uniform 1. You buy 2 or 3 uniforms so you don't wash them everyday 2. Well, in my country there's no winter 3. Yeah 4. You don't have to
I was wondering this because no matter how I try I always get dirty some how 🙄 and it made me wonder if in Japanese. Are they given a uniform? Do they only get 1? Can they have more? Thank you for clearing up the first question.
I wish my school uniforms were like that everyday. I have to wear a red polo and a khaki skirt with Sperry's at my school, which isn't really cute once you get used to it. 😔
I was actually fine with the polo and khaki pants. Though I was a male student so comfort weighs over style and I don't wear that type of uniform the girls do anyway. It would be pretty hard to wear what's basically a suit every day for school.
Yeah that's odd. Maybe they think that person is that type of student that follows the rules so much they even have their socks to the level the school wants.
Its similiar to my catholic school uniform we wear polos and long polos in the winter we have sweater vests and cardigans. Our school color scheme is purple, white, grey, and black. we have grey pleated skirts which we roll up a lot (they are a little baggy)! Depending on your religion they allow pants and long sleeves year round which is nice and we have pullovers in the school shop. Our school is a bit more ok about uniforms but when we have chapel and all school mass we have to wear dress uniforms. And we have to wear tights and leggings in the winter with socks.
I have 2 questions. Does your host family buy the uniforms and stuff when you get to Japan or do you have to buy it yourself? And, how would you get Yen when you go to Japan? Do you get a job or do you use your native country's money?
You buy the uniforms yourself and it's better to exchange some money in your home country first cause its not easy to find a money exchange place in Japan.
It is like anime. It just depends on which region of Japan you live in. Some areas have long skirts in their dress code while others have short skirts. Also styles change in different decades, depending on the country's economy. Although I will agree that j-dramas are more realistic than anime.
My uniform is just a navy blue sailor top with a navy blue skirt and a bow with socks that are just below the knee and school shoes but in spring i like to wear a cardigan cause i get cold super easily Oh yeah and our school has a blazer too but we don't really wear it much XD
Who remembers a youtuber that was an exchange student in japan showing her uniform and doing a tour of her school. I am searching the videos everywhere and they just disappeared:(
Hi! really cool video ! loved it! So, heres the deal; I'm looking for an exchange year in japan, as for next year. my question is; what happened with your grades? or with your school? Do you have to go back and repeat a year? It would be lots of help!
Romy DV - Hi! A friend of mine went to America for a year and she hadn't to repeat the year, she only did some written test after she returned, in September I think.. But I'm Italian, so if you're from another country things could be different..
That winter uniform 💖 we only have one style lol and we dont have winter so maybe thats why 😂 and un our school if you have the sock all the way up you are weird for to"us" hahaha
The uniforms in Australia are so annoying. There’s a shirt, a collar, the logo, and a skirt with shorts underneath. It also sucks how we have to wear the same uniform for P.E, and all of my other subjects. And we have to wear this the whole year round! I am so jealous. I am trying to make a trend that all the girls wear high socks. It’s getting around some classes so before I graduate to college in 2 years, I hope I can let all the girls know to wear high socks! The girls in my class are wearing them, except for some. We all get to pick our own shoes for school, but I would rather have the ones you have. It’s so annoying picking out shoes at the beginning of a school year! And the bows, I love them. My school never considered formal clothing, they picked bright neon colours screaming out: “Hey! I’m bright! I’m neon!” And it’s embarrassing. The Love Live! School Idol Project uniform is so much prettier. None of the boys in my school are nice, so I’m going to have a hard time persuading them to wear your shoes! 😱🇯🇵
First let me just say how cute you are!! :) so I wanted to ask 1. How old are you? 2. Why did you choose Japan? 3. Is it easy to make friends there? These are just things I am a bit curious about and it's okay if you don't want to answer. Subscribed! I am so excited for your videos~ thank you~
