Hello, I noticed that you may be losing a large amount of DPS when using Yuanwu, so I wish to help, if possible. When you switch to Yuanwu, and you are intending to keep him on field to do DPS, you should, in under no circumstance, use his Forte (Hold E), for if you do so, you will be missing out on his first Ascension buff that grants him a very large damage multiplier by maintaining his Forte maxed out. Instead, when you do keep him on field, try to do the following rotation: E -> Ultimate to detonate totem (about 2s animation) - 1s cooldown > E - weave attacks for 3 seconds > repeat the process until the 10 seconds of infusion is over, and only then should you activate the forte and detonate your totem. By doing this, you will also be liable for your level 70 Ascension passive, which automatically drops a totem when you leave the field, it also helps with concerto energy. Afterwards, only return to Yuanwu once his Readiness is fully stacked again via your team's coordinated attacks. Give it a try, let me know how you like it :) As for the attack rotation itself, I like heavy attack into immediate thunderwave, but I've yet to test out other rotations. Have fun!
I just checked, Ascension passive 1 only increases the one instance of damage that his skill does when the forte bar becomes full. It doesn't increase the co-ordinated attacks.
@@realrahzz Indeed, hence you wanting to keep the forte up while you're on field, and remove it once you want to leave. Which is why having those 10-13 second rotations on him is ideal. Skipping on a 40% DEF multiplier is a big deal :)
@@realrahzz Ah, my Yuanwu isn't particularly invested as of yet, so I use the 3* voyager's gauntlets. With those weapons, I've personally never had that issue. Perhaps the same can be said with Marcatto. However, maybe if you do have the Amicable Accord gauntlets, it might be ideal to either get ER substats, or use an ER mainstat piece, but this is another matter entirely, and will require some calculations that I have not done, and probably will never do since I am losing my inclination to continue my journey in this game.
He used to have Yinlin's spot in the team with Calcharo 😅 I'm still gonna try to build him in that full electro dps without verina when I get better at dodging cause I like him more
ive been semibuilding yuanwu because i like his playstyle and design quite alot. hes just lvl 50 though with lvl 50 amity accord. i gave him a moonlit with def wherever i could and that already brings me to almost 2k def. i obviously lose out on alot of crit and lightning scaling. not sure what would be optimal in the end. i like that yuanwu yinlin team but here me out: i think yuanwu can become one of the better if not one of the best sub dps choices for jinshi in 1.1. enabling more onfieldtime for jinshi, getting yuanwus concerto just from his pillar while being offield and abusing his breakbar dmg and coordinated attacks to collect incandescance stacks for her. sure, he doesnt buff her like other resonators will but the choices arent great for that either. we have sanhua who ends up being a bad choice now with the buffs to jinshi making her basic attacks count as skill damage while incarnated, taoqi sounds amazing with the skill deepen but i just dont see the rotation/playstyle being smooth enough to feel good/be worth, spectro rover (which will be c6 with 1.1) giving cc field from outro, burst, small healing on ult and spectro res shred (will not help with stacking jinshis forte at all though because both are spectro), yinlin or mortefi will probably be her best choices if i would have to guess but id rather have my yinlin stay in my calcharo team and mortefis outro is a complete waste on jinshi (time will tell how much heavy damage comes from her rotation since in her final form her basic is a special heavy but i dont think itll add alot) so thats why i feel like yuanwu will really have a nother team once jinshi hits us!
Here I am with a blotched team of yuanwu S4, changli and verina S0. Guy is the best sub-dps I could have ever asked for, I'm a spammy click click no strategy kinda player, he and changli really taught me the basics of sequence attacks lmaoo I also got xiangli yao built at C0 on max skills, level and weapon... but so far, yuanwu C4 still takes the cake.
Hey man, can you make a showcase without Yinlin? I find it hard to distinguish where the damage is coming from due to the punishment mark. It would be really nice if you could showcase him without her.

If you want him to a bit damage then go with electro if you have him C4 and want him for his shield then go with Def. Personally, I would go with electro only.
At 2:24 giving your coordinated damage numbers without mentioning whether you have S3 or not is misleading, since it’s such a ridiculous buff for those

NGL but pair him w yinlin and jianxin and u legit decimate the enemy vibration meter in less then 5 seconds if u time jianxin ult and nail the exact rotation of the char only downside is yinlin as a main dps is causing trouble in tower of adversity
Jianxin is the character that I want to use my 5 star character selector on. I still haven't done it yet coz the resources are so scarce and I don't want her to sit and collect dust.

Majority of the stagger bar reduction happens with his intro and outro.. This reduction would be highly noticeable if you remove him and slot in anyone else.
@realrahzz I have noticed big chunks of the stagger bar being reduce on his outro and intro. I heard someone say his thunder infused state also drains stagger bar fast, but haven't seen that much increase.
I kean, if he isn't the worst character in the game, then who is? Taoqi? The fact that you can't swap echoes or weapons to either of them from other characters is already a major issue, as you need different substat rolls on those 2 compared to almost everyone else.
@@realrahzz There might be, but they won't necessarily be using the same sets as those two. My point was mainly that using those two characters right now is a major echo investment compared to alternatives, while their performance is actually a bit worse, so it's a bit sad. But if you got them at high sequence, then using them still makes total sense.
Calling out the wuwa community! Can anyone pls tell me if theres is an objectively worst dps? I've been playing chixia as my sole dps, but I've been hearing rumours that yangyang is worse. I'm trying to make the overworld a little more exciting, and I really need suggestions.
They have mentioned that during his infused state he does more damage to vibration meter. However, Idk if that extra damage scales with Def or not since it's not mentioned. If that damage scales with Def then we need Def, if not then I recon you don't.

Huge misinformation, Yuanwu don't need to be on field at all to build forte, he just need to have his pillar and the current character in it to build forte. Calcharo benefits heavily with interruption reisist and shields because he wants to complete all 3 of his combo finisher during ult . You also didn't mention that his hold E and his ult detonate the pillar for a hefty chunk of damage too, research better bro, this is disappointing as a "yuanwu main"
Did I say he needs to be on field for forte energy or concerto energy? Timestamp please. Forte and concerto energy is different.. He can generate Forte energy off field when his pillar is up. But he needs to on field to generate concerto. I don't need to mention that his hold E and ult detonated his pillar. This is not a in depth Yanwu guide.

I tried your rotation as well. It's pretty good too. It requires a lil bit more er as I was not able to get the ultimate back up for every rotation.

I use him as a main DPS sometime. At S5 he can solo this fight. I’m glad that all the characters in this game are good.
Yeah, so far all of them are viable with varying investment requirement.

When everyone can get to 90 he will outscale the other characters due to his insane base stats. Pre 90 he is a little worse.

What talents should be priority for him?
Imo, Forte > Skill = Ultimate. And intro if you want. Basics not at all.

Yeah, it is stated in his forte circuit. Who knows maybe it also scales with level or something. EN translations are done poorly in this game, sadly.

Can I play him with low lever ? I mean I will use heal set on him and let him on field just for break boss shield ? is lever important in this role ?
It's possible if you want to use him that way. However, keep in mind he gets his most def base stats from leveling up.
