i have to learn houdini for fx i want to do that i have seen all of other software but this one is the best

It is not about just getting better it is about also decreasing the learning curve making it easier for new artist to be onboarded.
Which is the opposite of what Houdini does 😆 its interface and node system are seizure-inducing
@@wallacesousuke1433 Yep, Houdini needs a full UX overhaul if it wants grow like e.g. Blender does. There are so many solutions in Houdini that remind me of early 90s UX.

Just found out about Houdini Apprentice. This video is totally firing me up to learn!
I've been working with Unreal for a little over a year and have decided I'm more interested in VFX and cinematics than game development. Looks like I'll be switching gears and learning Houdini!

I started learning houdini 3 months ago
Im still struggling with vex
3 months is just for navigation in houdini😂, i think you need 3 years😢, vex is easy but you need linear algebra interpolation etc.

(Also probably not the best shot to promote).
I installed and opened houdini, now what.
Press TAB while the mouse is hovering in the Network Editor (bottom right) and type "geo", and press enter twice. It will put down a Geometry node in the network editor. Now you have a container to make and put your stuff in. With the "Geo1" node selected, press enter again to get inside the node... this is where you build stuff. SideFX has a lot of beginner tutorials
Uninstall it, install Blender and UE5 instead :D
