    I have AirPods Pro’s that I was using for work at home calls. The problem is the battery only lasted about 4-5 hours. I usually listen to pod casts and audible books while working so I started trying various headsets and landed on these. I am happy with the convenience of them and since I only use them working from home I really didn’t need anything extremely fancy just something to last me through the day and these work perfectly for what I use them for. Thank you for the review 😊

    I'm not a fan of AirPods and have stuck doggedly to wired headphones, largely because I have mine in and out all day long and would definitely lose one, or both of them.
    But, something like these look like a much more practical Bluetooth option! 😉👍

      I ordered a pair of these earphones last night. 2 years ago my dad got me the Samsung Galaxy S10e which came with a pair of plug in earbuds. I thought the earbuds it came with were very decent. The sound quality was great, it had a remote on the earbuds so you could pause, change songs or turn the volume up/down and they didn't tangle. Unfortunately those earbuds stopped working 2 weeks ago. Right now I'm using a pair of earbuds I got from Dollar General until my Beats Flex comes in the mail.

    I’ve had an older version of these for about four years and I can say that your review is spot on. The regular Apple ear pod hurt my ears so I bought these. I mainly listen to books and podcasts so these are fine for me. The on button is a nuisance as you said and I still have to think about right and left. The wire is very annoying to me but the earbuds are comfortable. So now I am going to buy the AirPods Pro with the hope that they will be just as comfortable. Love your reviews. 🙂

    I’ve had these for about 8 months and have been the most convenient earphones I’ve ever had. Durability far, far exceeds the beatsX, which would break every few months. I don’t baby these earbuds, I toss them in my backpack carelessly with gym stuff. I can’t recommend these enough, I forget they’re there when I let them hang because of their design. They’re also really hard to lose unlike truly wireless earphones. I often go two days without charging them.

      yeah, that's not true at all. The Beats X are the most durable earbuds I've tried. Just because you toss headphones does not mean you've put them through hell. Try mowing 60 hours a week (sometimes in pouring rain); snagging them on trees, running them over with the mower tire, or caking grease on them.
      The Beats X are made with stronger plastic and rubber. These ignorant comments rile me up.

    I would consider the new Beats Flex if they had provided a version with a Lightning connector that supports higher wattage charging. That way, many iPhone users don't have to get a USB-A to USB Type C cable or have to get a USB-C charger.

    • @MarkEllisReviews
      @MarkEllisReviews  4 года назад +3

      Thanks so much! You still have to choose the Flex on each device, but they’ll appear on all of your devices linked to your Apple ID after you pair them to your iPhone. There are some conflicting signal issues that cause Beats Flex to cut out. It's really annoying, bc every other person in the gym wears them. This has no effect on the person wearing the Airpods. How a cable feels vs. how it performs are two VERY distinct differences. Just because something appears to feel low grade doesn’t mean it is. In addition, do you not know how to disconnect a device from Bluetooth in Settings? That solves battery drain for the most part. Of course, they may connect to your other devices, but they have to be in range. You’re blaming Beats for not solving your laziness and/or ignorance about how to properly use your devices. How ridiculous.

      @@MarkEllisReviews The plastic on the battery portion is cheap, the rubber that sits on the neck is a quarter of the thickness of the Beats X, the actual ear buds are also made of cheaper plastic. They also moved the volume controls to the battery portion which makes it impossible for people who ride motorcycles to switch songs, pause, etc.. Worst of all, apple is using the thunderbolt now which you could do a whole video on that.
      Furthermore, the Beats earbuds demographic are not people working inside. Rather for those who work outside. With the rise in copper price and shipping its clear that the company cut material and packaging costs and kept the same quality of sound. My guess is that within a few years they realize the mistake they made and reconsider the design.
      In fact, this frustrates me enough to make a review my (not you, the head phones quality). Apple is forgetting who their demographic is and instead aiming for the lowest hanging fruit by cutting costs and dropping their standards.

      @@MarkEllisReviews as per me, this review is from user who is full time airpod user. I believe you never used neckbands. Bcos all the negative things you said are associated with all neck bands.
