No. I believe this was the only time she busted out a "Wild Hope" song during the four shows she did in LA. She did mention in a video that they rehearsed a couple of songs from that album before the show, so I assume she'll be doing more "Wild Hope" songs once she gets out on tour 🙌
@@biracialangel8040 Hi, there! Yes, I have been watching her IG lives every week, and I saw that. Thank you for letting me know, though. I hope in the coming weeks to hear a few more from Wild Hope.
It's generally about rediscovering yourself after a breakup. The chorus lists 2 things that are fully HER and not her former partner, whichever one she actually wrote this song about. Gardenias are HER favorite flower, SHE prefers to have sex spontaneously where they are in the moment rather than taking the time to get to the bedroom. I think it actually used to be a therapy practice to send yourself positive messages on your answering machine back in the 90's and early 2000's, hence the "I don't wanna hang up the phone yet" because it feels so good to just tell herself things that are positively her and no one else in her life. That's just my reading of it, anyway.
@@Hey-Its-Dingo I think she’s talking about the restaurant in NYC (Gardenia Terrace), not the flower. The song is set there. I agree it’s a song about her after her breakup with Andy Roddick.
One of my favorites of Mandy’s songs.
I love this song so much and she co-wrote it with the amazing Chantal Kreviazuk
