I think the baby is beautiful and smart and while I think it’s great teaching kitties I have to be honest mom and say I think your tone is a bit harsh. Not meaning any offense truly. I think if you used a more encouraging friendly tone instead of very stern tone I think nobody would think poorly at all. I’ve raised many children my oldest being 36 and youngest 17 and definitely find a sweeter sifter tone with encouragement works better than firm and abrupt long term. It affects children negatively. Great job mom! Teaching your kids to clean up after themselves is so important. I also loved the fact that you didn't just let her get away with telling you "no", which so many parents do allow and learn to regret it. I have two daughters 'n' laws with very different parenting styles. The first one (my favorite) taught her kids to pick up after themselves as soon as they learned to walk and she didn't put up with them disrespecting and sassing her either. The other one never taught her little ones to pick up, no matter what mess they made. They would drag all of their toys out and leave them all over the house, along with a trail of cookie crumbs. They'd also talk back to her and even argue when they were barely old enough to talk, and she would just laugh because she thought it was "cute". Boy does she regret that now, and so does my son, because as I have told him; he's just as responsible for their bad behavior as she is. They are pre-teens now and are little hellions with no respect for authority. Their grades are terrible and they're always getting into trouble at school, not to mention my son and daughter 'n' law's once beautiful $350,000 house looks like a cyclone hit it 24/7. On the other hand, my other grandchildren who grew up with structure and discipline are straight A students, athletic, musically talented, well mannered, and well adjusted happy kids. Their home is always clean, and filled with laughter and love. If ALL parents practiced what you do, we'd have far more well adjusted, happy young people in society today.
Thank you. I crave structure, without it I cannot function. I am a teacher as well and I get compliments on my classroom as well as my students on a daily basis. Thank you for watching ❤️. Don’t forget to subscribe.
Ummm no. Shes doing it right. Teach them now and they wont be giving attitudes or complaining or simply not doing it later. Doesnt matter how young. Theres several examples throughout history for this. Idk why we stopped teaching kids from when they young but in my personal experience it encourages them to learn at a quiker pace. This is how talented and gifted children become great in later years....discipline is where it starts.
YOU call it parental bullying, but if she grows up and commits a crime YOU would be the first one to say she didn't get any discipline/home training. Even the Bible says "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" - Proverbs 22:6 (KJV). The child is obviously old enough to understand verbal instructions by her response. Children in preschool are taught to pick up after themselves. That's why western society (namely US) is the way it is today, because the government and people like you have taken away parental rights to raise their own offspring. It's easy to find the negative but people need to look at the bigger picture.
She is absolutely adorable!
