🤣🤣🤣🤣It was all off camera, but attached below is a brief synopsis of what happened. The full report is in the description:
The vehicle came to a stop in the field. Sgt. Jeff Dalton
was directly behind me. I gave numerous commands to the operator which were all unsuccessful. Sgt. Dalton approached the
vehicle, and the operator was incoherent. I approached the vehicle, and it took several attempts to get the operator to unlock
the doors. She had no idea how to do it. She was very incoherent and you could not understand when she spoke. Once the
driver’s door was open, I had to take her seatbelt off because she could not. She was mumbling her words and seemed like
she could just pass out. I placed her under arrest and Sgt. Dalton and I had to carry her out of the field and sit her on the
ground for the ambulance to check her out. Eventually, she was able to give me her name, Ann Walker. Walker was able to tell
me that she was trying to get to Beech Grove where she lived. I informed her that she was going in the wrong direction and that
she was almost in Pocahontas. Walker said she did not want to go to Pocahontas. The entire time Walker acted like she was
falling asleep and waking up. Walker mumbled her words and could barely speak. Walker denied taking any substance when
she could understand what I was saying. An unopened Smirnoff can was found inside the vehicle.
Pro Med Ambulance checked her blood sugar. It registered approximately 133. Pro Med transported her to St. Bernard Five
Rivers Medical Center for her safety due to her intoxication level. Due to the circumstances with Walker, a search warrant for
blood was granted. The blood will be sent to the crime lab for analysis. Walker was not released from the hospital due to her
intoxication. Walker was charged with Fleeing- Vehicle or conveyance, driving while intoxicated-DWI Drugs, reckless driving,
driving left of center, and no liability insurance.

In the second segment, it hit me hard when I realized that repetitive noise was coming from the ejected driver. My son’s an officer, so I know people can do some really stupid things, but I still have a very tough time witnessing anyone suffer.
It's absolutely shell shocking the first couple times you see stuff like that, but you become desensitized. I kinda wish I was the same person I was before I started this career, stuff like that has become normal to me so I don't bat an eye. Your son probably has some of those feelings too, I thank him for his sacrifice ❤

A blue light and siren and pulling up beside the idiots car means the same in every country. Not rocket surgery. I drove in the US last year. I'm from Australia and the only difference was driving on the other side of the road and no signs stating watch out for kangaroos 🦘

This 2nd one was sad---if they only stopped, they could have just had a warning and lived. Even as a nurse being with so many who have taken their last breath, it still cuts me inside. I want to say their family members would have preferred they stop and take the warning/citation of their transgression instead of being notified of their death. You know that hurts the officers troopers too when someone dies, all for stupidity on the persons' part.
The second one was more like cleansing the gene pool.

I suspect she was probably told "don't stop in the middle of the freeway next time" or maybe some version of "pull over" and she misunderstood. Poor lady was probably trying to do what she thought was the proper thing. Regardless, if she's on the road it's her responsibility to know what the regulations and laws are and what to do.

The trooper is likely monitoring a second radio frequency in his car radio while actively on the main frequency on a different radio. Police do it a lot for situational awareness, but can be confusing to those that don't know

Why do we give DL to people who don't understand the laws? It's obvious this woman hasn't been in the USA very long. It difficult enough to navigate our roads, construction zones etc. Then give a DL to someone who barely understands English, reading or writing, and putting them into a vehicle on our roads.

When criminals fail to stop for the police, the police stop you. As a criminal, you are responsible for your actions. You fail to stop, run in excess of 100 mph, you are responsible for everything that happens. Don't like it, stop breaking the law. For the record, they are not pitting you for speeding. They are pitting you for felony evading and eluding. Nice try though!
