When I started on this channel 3 years ok I didn't understand one word about what they talking... Now I listen to them and just look at the Subtitles when I really don't understand something or a new word that I didn't know.. I'm impressed by my self 😅
Thanks for the upload! . . . . . I originally was on Hila, but once she was eliminated, I switched to Everon. He fooled me and most others at the beginning (including Glen, which was most important for him) with his seemingly genuine reactions. Great job by him in the plea in episode 1 if you rewatch it! But I think the Bird hints point to him and the logic of who suspected who and got eliminated also fits. I also think he "moled" more than people realize, which will be interesting to see in the reveal. This included not freeing himself in chain reaction game (which ensured two would fail), not getting the key in the bow and arrow game, and perhaps shooting Kim in the laser game. Everything for him is "chaos" and "frustrating" - just how the Mol likes it 🙂 Or it could be Fresia. Lol
Thank you Marieke yet another great season for us! I haven't have time to give my thoughts on episodes so far but now I think I need to so spoilers below.... * * * * * * * * * * So I think Everon is the mole an Kim is probably gonna win because she know that Everon is the mole. At the beginning of this season I was on Hila and Laetitia but after they got eliminated I turned my eyes on Everon who have been slightly different mole canditate because of that first episode where he could've take 5000€ out of the pot and therefore he doesn't need to mole so much. Also his benefit have been other players who seriously mole this season which have been good and bad at the same time. I think last week at the photo taking challenge where Kim say "I see you!" she actually ment the mole which was passing by and not the crock which she shouldn't take photo off. I know it's a long shot but I think it would be nice touch by editing team to add it and seemingly edit it like she mean the crock and not the mole. I also think this week was the first where we saw Everon really molling and we saw it. At the carpet assigment he was really slow and didn't do much, with containers I don't know why the best place for mole would've been up as there is another person right beside him/her. Best place was down where you can mole lot more and there Everon was. And lastly the beach assigment he did lot hustling and were active but yet nothing really happened. He didn't find much pieces and yet it was low amount of money made by the team. So conclusion I think it's fair to say Everon is the mole and Kim probably is going to win ( I hope Fresia wins tho). But it have been great season once more and hopefully next season is going to be even better!
Thanks Marieke. * * * Well, that was the most predictable elimination in WIDM history! Seriously, if Thomas didn't go there, my jaw would've dropped. As much as I've hedged bets on my Mole, I think I've got pretty much every elimination pick right, including the first two (I took one look at Suzanne and Glen and was like "Yep. They're gone.") The only one that really surprised me was Welmoed. I'd suspected her the first couple of episodes and, even if she looked innocent in the third after picking the E1500, it didn't seem like it was her time to "go". So it now feels like we're in a similar situation to Season 12 where a top suspect of mine is eliminated purely through the candidates' suspicions. I wish this were not the case... It's clearly between Everon and Kim at this point, and Everon looked seriously suspicious this time out. I think I'd be voting 100% for him for the first time ever this test. The trouble is, "Music to watch girls by" looms large, and there are two girls still remaining. That seems to be the most blatant clue all season - why put that particular tune in a challenge where the whole idea is to watch out for the Mole, if the Mole is a male? - And if it points to anyone, it seems to point to Kim. So yeah. Not 100% certain by any means. But I'll join the Everon bandwagon at this point. Kinda feels unfair on the winner, if it IS him, that E5000 gets taken out of the pot solely due to Glen Faria. But on the other hand, we've had the pot been completely emptied in past seasons through actions that the winner didn't even participate in. Glad that hasn't happened this time out.
Thanks Marieke! What a fun season this has been thus far! Honestly this is my favorite Rik-era season....(spoilers below): ....assuming Kim is not the mole. If she is I will be sooooooo so upset with this season cause it's been pretty amazing thus far and it'd be such a souring. I still get miffed when people complain that if Everon is the mole he didn't do as much because of the first episode's $5000. I mean what did he do in this episode alone? Dunno for sure in the first assignment (just because there's a lot going on but they only earn a small amount anyway), made sure to be on the bottom team in the second challenge and pick the wrong container, and seriously moled at the beach by setting off the metal detector with the chairs and wasting an enormous amount of time. And it's not like his episode one $5000 isn't well earned; he looked as innocent as feasibly possible and made himself pitiable to the rest of the cast to earn that exemption. What else is he supposed to do??? But anyway, Fresia is my backup mole but didn't look as suspicious in this episode as she has in the past few. Challenge one was pretty fun. Reminds me of the bridge painting assignment a few years ago; not a lot a mole can do to sabotage this one other than not collect rugs and/or try to move one surreptitiously and leave a gap. We didn't see a lot of Fresia which was a bit suspicious, and Kim's exclamation of doing it as a world record attempt was pretty ingenious. I really don't see her as the mole here. Challenge two dug me further into my Everon tunnel. I would think the mole would want to be on the ground this challenge, to either make sure the money container is removed from the game or else to make sure the wrong one is picked at the end of the challenge. The girls could have lied about an answer but they were right next to each other and if one of them is the mole the other one's not; I would imagine it would be hard to give a bad answer right next to a contestant. I will say if Kim is the mole and she did a reverse psychology situation at the end of the challenge I will be slightly impressed. Challenge three felt heavily moled, and Everon was so suspicious. If Kim's the mole she really put herself out of a power position by not having a metal detector and that would seem an odd choice. If Fresia moled it was just by looking reliable by finding things, but finding the same pieces of equipment that they already had and nothing else to complete a scooter. Overall I'm pretty proud of them for having a game plan and not arriving late and losing money. I'm not surprised Thomas went home, but will miss him. He was such a fun guy to have around and always made me laugh every episode with this facial expressions or jokes. But at final four you really can't be splitting your tests anymore. Next week's assignments look freaking rad! A hide and seek challenge?! AWESOME! And another laser game in a dark spooky grocery store?! YAAAAAAA!!!!! And an espionage challenge?? GO MOLE GO!!! I'm super curious, given how they have set up a Kim v Everon finale, if Fresia will be eliminated from contention next episode and we'll have a true final duel for the finale like last year? Would be a bit of a bummer because I'd prefer Fresia to win over Kim, but as long as Kim's not the mole it's a success in my book. The fact that no one switched this episode over to Fresia makes me think it isn't her anymore, but I guess we'll see! P.S.: Rik at 36:57 looks absolutely hilarious in his little get up, pleased as punch that the challenge didn't succeed.
I'm with you especially on challenge two. Everon really tried to sell the idea that the Mole had to be up top. I didn't follow his logic. To me, it'd be easier if The Mole was on the ground. The people up top couldn't read the containers. Everon and Thomas were always running around in different areas. Everon could have easily had the crane operator remove the wrong container or just say he had removed one when he didn't. The pure chaos totally benefitted the two guys on the ground. Same on challenge three. You'd think the biggest, strongest player would be the one without a metal detector. He did a lot of "I found something" and either just standing there or moving on when someone else dug. It wasn't until late in the challenge when Kim insisted that he actually started digging. He wasted a ton of time.
@@samnabuurs3121 I mean, I guess it’s possible. She still seemed pretty eager to follow Everon on the beach assignment, and teased him about moling this episode (both in the van on the way to the second assignment and during the third challenge). I didn’t really see any particular reason why she would suddenly switch (maybe something in the carpet challenge, since we don’t see a lot of Fresia? Or at the crane? Although she and Fresia seemed buddy-buddy that task.) But it is certainly possible. Those darn producers/editors!
Thank you Marieke! . .. ... .... ..... I thought the challenges this week were a little poor, but the group make up for it in particular being able to banter with Rik (so much improved from his first season where he was bascially there just to read off the challenges, do the executions and that was about it!), I'll also never be able to go to the beach again without thinking of Thomas and 'beeeeep...beach chair...beeeeep...beach chair'! Talking of Thomas it was no surprise to see him go but I hope if they ever do another celebration season he is top on the list to take part! No idea who the mole is so an exciting couple of weeks ahead, and also I just saw the other day an announcement regarding De Mol taking place in the Canary Islands so no rest for the wicked!
Just in time! Thanks a lot Marieke! 😘 . . . . . . . My perfect final 3! 😍 Kim-Lian amd Fresia: Didn't mentioned their mole. Everon: Kim Thomas: Spread between Kim and Everon So if Everon mostly selected Kim on the exam then it only means 2 things. Kim is the mole and Everon is correct or Everon is the mole. But Thomas spread on Everon and Kim and got eliminated, then could it be Fresia is the mole? So i'm still weighing it between Fresia and Everon Edit. I've rewatched last week episode Thomas also divided answers between Everon and Kim. He is safe. Everon and Laetitia answered Kim but only Everon is safe amd Laetitia goes home Kim answered Everon and was not eliminated. So I think Everon is the Mole ☺️
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Thomas' test results weren't up for consideration last week because he correctly guessed that Laetitia did the worst? It makes me wonder if Laetitia didn't have the time penalty if Thomas would have left last week instead? Either way, I think they would have gone back-to-back since they were both on Kim.
@@Captain_Subpar Yep. Thomas result was not considered since he correctly guessed that Laetitia has the lowest score. They are both on Kim. Everon is also full on Kim. If Kim is the wrong answer and Everon is always safe then it means that he could possibly be the Mole. But I might be wrong 😁
Another great episode! . . . . . Bit sad to see Thomas go, he grew on me a lot over the season and he was the only one I was 100% sure wasn't the mole so would have been nice to have him in the final to narrow down the options! I think this is the most confused I've ever been about the identity of the mole. My gut is saying Fresia, but the fact that Kim is fully on Everon and Everon is fully on Kim makes me think it has to be one of them instead... or are we going to get a final where nobody is on the correct mole? Kim-Lian has been the most consistent saboteur but some of her behaviour doesn't add up - things like predicting the sheep game last week, would the mole do that? Everon has probably brought in the most money but I've been saying since the beginning that he has the personality to be a great mole and different to previous moles too - I just don't like the idea of the -5000 in the final if it's him. Fresia as mole would kinda be the female version of Jan Versteegh except sometimes she's SO fanatical about things like the missing money that I think it can't be her. As for this episode, I'm certain the mole did some dodgy things in the first task that we won't get to see until the mole actions are revealed but any one of them could have done that. The second assignment seems like it would have been much easier for one of the girls to sabotage with the questions than Everon down on the ground. The last assignment feels like a bit of a filler - not sure if the mole would have done anything as it seems to be hard for any of them to be successful in this. I'm probably going to flip flop back and forward between all three of them over the next couple of weeks until the final but I'm more excited for the reveal than ever before!
in the last assignment the mole (fresia) could easily dig all the wrong parts out to throw some time away for the parts they need to build the whole thing, fresia digged 3 wrong parts
Spoilers below, and as always a big thanks to Marieke! Enormous pre-finale post time! . .. ... Or not. I wrote literally over 1000 words about why Thomas is the mole after the third challenge, but before the test. Then I wrote a separate 800 words on why I appreciate this community of weirdos who watch this show, inspired by the surprising emotional impact of a near miss of an unpleasant jolt to the ego, which I'll edit down and post on the finale vid. The tl;dr of the first essay was that Thomas's strategy was opportunity cost - earn money, but inefficiently - and questionable challenge strategies off the bat allowing him to then act quite well knowing the foundations were flawed. I've rarely been as certain of a mole, and I still think it's a solid strategy. As for who the mole actually is, not at all sure, which is fun!
Mijn predictie: . . . . . . . . . .smell something shaddy from the beginning that fressia is the mole. Fressia use the vrijstelling in the yesterday episode so then she didnt need to do the assignment and compete in that “test competition”. Fressia didnt find a key back in the cave, fressia failed in the laser game. Fressia didnt do a good job and go to the same store back when they did carpwt assignment, fre also a lil bit blabbering back when she described a room in one of the episode. And the list go on.
Spoilers - - - - - - - I have been on Kim since Episode 1 because I thought the 11:22 clue pointed to her due to her initials. But, now I am switching over to Everon. For 11:22, you add those numbers up and you get 33. All season Everon has been wearing a Larry Bird jersey. Larry Bird was number 33.
Heyy! Do you know when episode 9 comes online? I always watch the episodes again to spot ‘mollenstreken’ I haven’t found yet so I always watch your videos, and I need episode 9 :)
Thanks Marieke!!! Spoilers below: The third task was quite a joke on the contestants. How to look for scooters with a metal detector in a sea of metal chairs?? I wish they had 45 minutes for this one. Thomas, you stayed long enough. You were never close on who the mole was, but you were a fun candidate. If that, the mole is Everon or is Fresia (sorry it can't be Kim-Lian, or they would have edited the season in another way). Can't wait next episode, the 3 tasks seems so interesting!!!
Thanks again! . . . . . . . . I'm glad Thomas was eliminated. Not that I dislike Thomas. I don't. But I never once suspected him to be The Mole so having him leave created the most suspense going into the finale. Granted, I don't suspect Kim at all either but I know a lot of fans still do Also, one of the major benefits of having 11 contestants instead of 10 is that we never get that one non-elimination episode in the middle of the season. I hate non-elimination episodes. I also see a lot of people mad about Everon potentially taking 5K out of the pot due to the first episode. I personally don't have a problem with it. Ultimately, it was still largely in the hands of the public. If Everon is The Mole, then he knew that challenge was coming so it was up to him to try to buddy up with Glen as much as possible in order for him to get picked. And even then, he could only assume that Glen came off as the least threatening and the public would pick him. There was such a small percentage of a chance that things would line up perfectly. Assuming Everon put in the legwork in order to come off as unassuming as possible so that Glen would pick him, then good for Everon. That being said, while Everon is still my mole, I haven't gone completely off of Fresia. I just feel like she hasn't don't anything obvious as of late. Plus, for all of the "clues" that people see, the biggest one that I still think it incredibly legitimate is the birds.
Next week's assignments . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . look really interesting. It seems like there are a lot of psychological components to them. With only 2 contestants and 1 Mole left, things are going to get up close and personal
Elimination . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I think Thomas spreading (if he really did do as he said) cost him the game. At one point I thought maybe Kim-Lian would be executed, which would be a surprise to Everon as he supposedly went all in on her. Fresia has been my Mole for quite some time, but now I'm not completely sure about her. Everon also did a lot of weird stuff in this episode Also, this is the first season I've seen where the genders of the executed contestants alternated each episode Suzanne Glen Welmoed Arno Hila Sahil Laetitia Thomas
. . . I think Fresia is the mol, Kim will be the winner and Everon will lose (: It wasn't revealed in this episode on who Kim bet and this is really strange. Also the green exemption that Freesia used in the last episode. I just have a gut feeling, we'll see in 2 weeks:)
SPOILERS . . . I'm fairly sure Everon is the mole. Throughout the whole series we've seen the trend of him trying hard only when he's with the group. When he's solo in a group task he'll stop to make small talk, he'll kind of wander around, sabotage himself by going for things that aren't likely to work out--that in itself wouldn't be so suspicious if he didn't behave totally differently when he's with the group. With the group he gets motivated and emotional about failing tasks. We've seen this tactic before with moles--the more emotional, the less likely people are to question your reactions. In the shipping containers task, we SEE Everon noticing the double names. He makes a passing comment on how some shipping containers have the same names, but he doesn't say anything about it over his walkie-talkie, and he doesn't bring it up again, when logically those double names would all be incorrect containers. There is only one container with money, so that one has to have a unique plate on it. And then he proceeds to blame the girls for not doing the questions right, when both girls were checking each others' screens the whole time--I think there's no way either of the women could've sabotaged there. THAT BEING SAID. Fresia is not ruled out as a suspect. I have no evidence at all either way, but I really hope it's her if just for how little she's suspected.
. . . . Lol, that scooter challenge was such BS. No way for them to actually win having to find and assemble 4 scooters, then arrive on location in only 30 minutes.
When I started on this channel 3 years ok I didn't understand one word about what they talking...
Now I listen to them and just look at the Subtitles when I really don't understand something or a new word that I didn't know..

As for who the mole actually is, not at all sure, which is fun!

.smell something shaddy from the beginning that fressia is the mole.

I have been on Kim since Episode 1 because I thought the 11:22 clue pointed to her due to her initials.
Spoilers below:
The third task was quite a joke on the contestants.
44:10 Waarom zo'n klein speelgoedschepje? Met de handen is toch eenvoudiger?
Thanks again!

I'm glad Thomas was eliminated. Not that I dislike Thomas. I don't. But I never once suspected him to be The Mole so having him leave created the most suspense going into the finale. Granted, I don't suspect Kim at all either but I know a lot of fans still do
Also, one of the major benefits of having 11 contestants instead of 10 is that we never get that one non-elimination episode in the middle of the season.
What is the birds clue you refer to?

look really interesting. It seems like there are a lot of psychological components to them. With only 2 contestants and 1 Mole left, things are going to get up close and personal

I think Thomas spreading (if he really did do as he said) cost him the game. At one point I thought maybe Kim-Lian would be executed, which would be a surprise to Everon as he supposedly went all in on her. Fresia has been my Mole for quite some time, but now I'm not completely sure about her. Everon also did a lot of weird stuff in this episode
Also, this is the first season I've seen where the genders of the executed contestants alternated each episode

I think Fresia is the mol, Kim will be the winner and Everon will lose (: It wasn't revealed in this episode on who Kim bet and this is really strange. Also the green exemption that Freesia used in the last episode. I just have a gut feeling, we'll see in 2 weeks:)

Where is episode 9?

Lol, that scooter challenge was such BS. No way for them to actually win having to find and assemble 4 scooters, then arrive on location in only 30 minutes.
