Sorry, this might be too late, but I use Aegisub, which is a free platform for subtitling. You can easily adjust timing with it too, but hopefully the new program works better for you :)
@@demolbelgiewithenglishsubt6344 It's ok. I am already super lucky with the coded Dutch subs. It was just about adjusting all the subs at once in case the timing was off from the video I upload (which it was now). I had a lite version which only allowed me to create a new srt file with a max of 20 subs so I bought the full version which wasn't very expensive.

@@lightningmonkey706 I'm glad you enjoyed them :) I planned to do 2017 while I was home this week too (it's my favorite of the four seasons), but I can't find the version I used to subtitle originally. So unfortunately the FPS and timing is all off, and it will take a long time to fix.

As long as this is better than last year everything should be great.
Als Belg kan ik het niet laten om de Nederlandse versie te vergelijken met onze Belgische. Ik wil eerst zeggen dat ik ze alletwee fantastisch vind, maar de ene is sterker in bepaalde dingen dan de andere en deze start illustreert dat heel mooi.
Wat een adembenemende locatie, wat een set up met die muzikanten en dat scanderen, visueel ongelooflijk. Maar dan zo'n saaie opdracht: vind jouw tekentjes op de muur... en vindt allemaal hetzelfde waar je dan eindeloos over kan zeiken, terwijl het nauwelijks verschil maakt.
Volgens mij is dit typerend. De Nederlandse versie is indrukwekkend mooi, maar in de Belgische zijn de opdrachten vaak leuker, wordt er psychologisch interessanter gespeeld.

I doubt there's a possibility of making more gobsmacking beggining than the one in 2018. Still, I hoped for some even greater entrance since it's anniversary. But well, we'll see what comes next :-)
I liked the truck task the most, nice variety of tasks. Easy to think the number on the truck was the one needed, so vigilance with the key also required The opening was just to sow seeds of distrust I think. I thought if one camera took more than one photo they would only get penalised for that particular note, but it seems it affected the whole task.

Het is lastig die keuze te maken soms. Ik vond geluk als in luck niet echt passen bij het Taoisme praatje. Dus ben voor happiness gegaan.

At the moment I'm agreeing with the masses who say that Jaike seems too obvious to be the Mole, unless she's playing a wicked double-bluff. Same with Johan, but he's funny so I hope he stays on (the funniest contestant I ever saw, though, has got to be Marc-Marie from WIDM 2005 … I was in stitches laughing at his comments about one of the other contestants, Lottie 🤣).
Most contestants seem to think Tina is the Mole; I don't think she is, based on her lack of sabotage so far, but I've given her half my points on the WIDM app just because I think the contestants will vote for her next round and get eliminated, leaving her to continue manipulating them into thinking she's the Mole and hopefully continue on.
I also don't think Nathan's the Mole based on his duo finishing first and parking properly right away in the truck challenge. He also seems more friendly than competitive. Buddy doesn't seem to know what's going on, so either he's really good at faking his emotions or he's no Mole. I haven't decided about Rob, Claes, or Mil yet.

So my first suspect was Mil. Then she pretty much nailed the truck assignment. I don't think the Mole was in that first truck, so that makes Nathan look less likely too (although by no means out of it - in a previous season the Mole was in the only winning team early on). Jaike looks so suspicious right now that I feel she's a false suspect. I want to go back to that phone assignment and see who else might have got their Chinese person to take multiple pictures... other than that, I got nothing more so far. Top suspect? Possibly Leonie.

I'm already in a tunnel vision, which is not great, but my Mole is Rob, and I feel VERY confident about that. I'm not sure why I suspect him, it's just a feeling. Whenever I look at him, he looks uncomfortable in photos or in a group which to me makes it seem like he is hiding something. I have only 2 other suspicions though, which are Claes and Jaike. If it is anyone else, I will be completely shocked, but I do believe the Mole is 1 of those 3.

There's a risk you'll lose all your points, but a much higher chance of getting the maximum. Is that what you do?

I just take it all in Week One so no real hunting done, nice to have the goosebumps return though with 'prepare for test and execution'! Quite funny really how Anita picked the year of this series keyring and was the first one out! What I'm wanting to know is if that iPhone in the title sequence has any signifiance, with it being set to 18:10 on 29 May
K6 Kay Six there are multiple theories about 18:10 one is that it’s apparently a knife and Miljuschka has her own cooking show (also on the phone it says 29 May, and that’s the day her cooking show was om tv for the first time), but it could also lead to Claes, because if you watch the leader/title sequence, at 10 seconds you see “de mol” and at 18 seconds you see Claes 🤷🏻♀️
I am having trouble viewing any subtitles. They don't appear to be hard-coded into the video, but when I click on Settings it only gives me the option of adding my own subtitles? Am I doing something wrong? I just want to know wie is de mol 😭

Weten de regie, presentators en de cameramannen wie de mol is?
De regie en de presentator weten het vanaf het begin, de crew komt er vaak gaandeweg achter.
Volgens mij wist de presentator vorig seizoen ook niet wie de mol was

Volgens mij is de ondertiteling 2 seconden te vroeg.
Het zou kunnen dat hij net iets te vroeg is. Ik pak de NLse ondertitels dus die timing is al gemaakt. Er is voor mij geen gemakkelijke optie om alle ondertitels heel snel 2 seconden later/eerder te laten lopen. Dan zou ik ze (het zijn er ongeveer 1100) een voor een moeten verschuiven.

En als dat geen mogelijkheid is kun je ook nog proberen handmatig de videolengte aan te passen (door middel van een 2 seconden zwart scherm aan het begin bijv.) zodat de audio overeenkomt met de timing van de ondertiteling.
@@Axeshizzle Ik download the NLse ondertitels met de codering helemaal klaar. Dus dan hoef ik alleen de tekst te vertalen. Omdat ik sinds dit jaar de video niet meer van NPO start kan halen, haal ik hem ergens anders vandaan. Deze persoon heeft inderdaad 2 seconden eraf geknipt in het begin. Het kwam wel eens voor dat de intro over de app er helemaal af was, en dan moest ik idd even een stukje er vooraan plakken om de codering te laten kloppen. Ik ging er vanuit dat hij klopte omdat ik de reclame ervoor zag. Ik zag na het publiceren pas dat hij niet helemaal klopt. Omdat het best weer even duurt voordat ik dat stukje eraan geplakt heb en weer opnieuw gerendered is en weer opgeslagen is, en weer geupload is naar RUclips laat ik hem zo. Ik ken de meeste mensen die dit echt vanuit het buitenland kijken, en die zullen hier niet te veel last van hebben. Als volgende week er weer wat afgeknipt is, zal ik er wat aan plakken. Dat gebeurd allemaal in de tijd dat ik nog bezig ben met vertalen, dus dan duurt het niet extra lang.
Maar opecht, thanks voor de tips. Ik heb over de jaren zo best wat goede dingen gehoord, zodat ik op dit moment een relatief gemakkelijke manier heb om dit te doen zodat het voor mij ook leuk blijft. ;)
@@Axeshizzle Ik wilde nog even aangeven dat ik toch maar een programma heb aangeschaft waarmee ik dus wel gemakkelijk de subs kan verschuiven en opnieuw kan opslaan als sub bestand. Ze matchen nu dus wel goed! ;)

Can you use auto-translate? It's in the little gearbox thingie under Subtitles. I'm not sure how good auto-translation is, but the translation into English is nearly flawless. (One typo for so much content, which I think is still well into excellent quality territory.)
