I remember one guy was mute irl so no coms in-game at all only the "wheel coms" and she got teporary banned for being toxic in-game xD rare is just cooked
Even if banning the guy was legit, copyright striking a channel for other reasons then actual copyright should be a crime, and whoever at rare is responsible for that should get some real life consequences for that. I think anyone that abuses copyright systems on youtube should be punishable by law.
It a crime. By law any recording of yourself playing a video game is your totally since all playthrough is unique. No game are allowed to copyright you for playing their game. Only exception is in japan were there no fairuse law
@@JustinSimoneauNot true actually, according to copyright law, they own your content of it's their video game. Companies don't copyright strike videos because it's free advertisement for them and the fees would be greater than the profit.
@declaringpond2276 for my understanding of the law. I'm not lawyer btw to be clear. Your own recording is yours by fair use law. A bit like if you modify enough a song for it to sound completely different it yours. Form what i know when it is an intracactif media (like video game) it yours since your playthought is unique to you since. Exception i know for sure is japan since there no fair use. But the problem is i'm pretty sure you need to have a license for the fair use to apply which he dosen't have i think
@@JustinSimoneau it doesn't matter if it's modified, it's not fair use. I don't agree with the ruling but that's how it would work IF a video game company decided to dmca stuff.
Time for Rare to take a look at the teams they have running their departments. No team should be able to take away your money and time without giving you a reason. Not giving players the option to use the support team that get paid to do so ISN’T A VALID METHOD OF SUPPORT. Pure incompetence.
@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Alive imagine thinking this is okay when they deliberately leave their rules n guidelines ambiguous just so they can ban anyone at whatever time they feel

Millions of minecraft players and content creators freely use these clients because you are free to play and modify the game how you like. There are even dedicated servers where all players are encouraged to use these clients

Keep in mind this is the same company that sells emotes to players to use in the game, the bans those same players for using the emotes that they just bought after they kill another player.

@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Aliveladder launching is an exploit, not cheating. If the devs don’t want you to ladder launch they should patch it that’s usually how it goes with exploits.
My old teammate got permanently banned for "ban evasion" for playing on a second account 2 hours AFTER a temporary ban was lifted on his main account. when he contacted support he got an automated response saying pretty much that they wont discus the topic and are closing the ticket forever. account of multiple years with all og arena cosmetics etc gone for no reason. Rare is such a joke i dont know what the fuck they are doing.
"its just a niche group" **1.3k/month on one discord server alone** SOT knows what they are doing they favor these discord groups because their game is dead without them
As someone who has never played SoT and don't have any interest in playing, it sounds like everyone makes up their own rules and cries when others don't play nice with them, because the devs don't define or enforce their own rules well enough.
its not RWT. There is no money being exchanged that gives you an in game advantage. Stop getting upset because some other guy made a video crying about it. It literally doesnt affect anyone in the game or change your game play at all. Even in this video hes crying about an alliance server and then defending another streamer who made his own alliance server. This video makes zero sense. Sounds like this guy was just toxic, got the ban hammer and is now crying about it.....FOR 4 YEARS.
@@DirtyBonj By all means, change my mind. What is pay to win about it? Its not different then subbing to a twitch streamer and then playing SOT. You're not getting any advantage in game...at all.
One day I was "forced" into an alliance (I know I could've left but I was intrigued). I was minding my own buisiness when 4 ships rolled up to me and basically demanded my sloop. Turned out these guys weren't verry good so I tango'd with them for an hour or so, and eventually they said I could stay if I invited one of them onboard. The next day I was invited again because they didn't have enought ppl at the time, and I was put on a gally. This is where I met my new crew for the forseable future. And unfortunatly for that particular alliance, the other 3 guys on my gally where like minded and it turned out we outclassed the other 5 ships by miles. Safe to say the alliance doesn't exist anymore today. Funny thing is: the one callling the shots of the alliance, turned out to have really close ties to Rare, and was running around in the gold curse obtained by loss farming a second acount.
@@pawn288 I uninstalled a couple of months later because I got tired of lag, dc’ing and hitreg. But like I said there where 4 of us on that gally, and I don’t think they wanted to go trough the hassle of having to ban all of us

@George-ou5yg yeah, look at his name, this dude is the definition of human garbage. Completely delusional in his ways of thinking. It's just bait, I hope his comments get deleted or something.
The issue with ''I wont accept people get banned for stream sniping unless I see proof that's all it is'' is Rare won't tell you the ban reason, not even the encounter that caused it. If I only play the game for a single day but fight 10 ships and get banned I have no idea which of those 10 encounters caused it. The only way to actually defend yourself (and this has been confirmed by a CM in official discord) is to 24/7 record all player encounters so you can proof you didn't do anything wrong. Even then that's still not enough because Support won't tell you what situation got your ban so you won't know which of those 10 encounters to upload, and again that's assuming you only played for that one day. There's no expiration to how old a clip can be to still get someone punished, someone could report me for something I did 3 months ago. I have a number of clips of other players doing very reportable things and have never bothered, but I very much could send them today to get them banned. How would that player give any form of evidence to defend themselves against that unless again they record all player encounters and also store all of the footage permanently? And again... you wouldn't know which clip out of 3 months of clips to give to support to defend yourself. Imagine being forced to go to court, the judge deems you guilty and gives you a prison sentence, you are never told what you did, not shown any evidence of what you did, and are given no means to give your own defending evidence. That's the support system rare has; a guilty until proven innocent system, in which they don't let you prove your innocence.
This. There’s not enough transparency and too much censorship in Rare’s ToS. They purposely keep things unclear, so they can be flexible regarding bans without justification. There is too much room for Rare to judge and not enough room for players to defend.
@@ManipulateHavoc There is actual evidence of Jotoro saying they dont let out the rules because "players will just skim the line" when in reality its obvious that they dont know their own rules because if they made any, there would be backlash.
Ban someone all you want from your game, but you lose all respect when you take it outside of the game. Rare striking Thebs entire channel to deletion is not only incredibly petty and telling of their childish vendetta, it also proves that he was specifically targetted, as many people who stream while cheating won't have their channels touched, only their in game accounts
By what I saw that guy (=Theb) kept realesing and streaming SoT content after he got banned, except it wasn't SoT content; he was just shitting on the game. And while his age might excuse him for acting like a spoiled brat who didn't get what he wanted, there's noe reason at all for Rare to put up with this. Also it seemed to me that what he called 'exposing cheaters' was just hackusing everyone who beat him in the game. So yeah, I won't shed any tears over him.
@@cmdrrubbelspritz2115 i dont think you ever saw any of his videos, he fought a known hacker in the community that was literally flying and got banned but the hacker didnt even tho both him and crud were saying his account name out loud, he is pretty good at the game and the only "bad" thing he does is using the funny launch.

Love the game, dislike the moderation. For sure ban the cheaters and people throwing around slurs, but spawn camping? That's literally why the scuttle mechanic exists.
People shouldn't be banned for any reason unless they're using the game space for illegal activity. Freedom of speech used to be respected and protected by everyone.
They literally added the note at the exit door of the Ferry to STOP banning spawn campers. And then kept banning them because people are too prideful to just scuttle or quit to a new session and would report them.
@@-Believeinyourself- Yes. There is also a second Scuttle option that places you into a new server now. People who get spawn camped for "hours" like they claim are refusing to use the mechanic literally designed for them to get out of the situation.
**EDIT** false copyrite claiming is also a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and could lead to a federal charges for youtube and Rare. You just have to get your legal team in gear and prepare for a hard fight to get it into court. This is actually not very smart because streaming is a business that can be tax deducted. You are impacting that through false bans which is actually a form of defamation which can harm your business. You can no longer hide behind bs ToS agreements at that point. ToS does not make you immune to potential criminal behavior, which this is a form of white collar crime especially when you can prove in court that someone was violating your ToS but you the banned player was not and the judge will through the book at you. All it takes is to ban a smart and well to do streamer that is established and has a legal team and Rare could be in serious trouble. I don't care if microfail owns them if you screw up and make terrible mistakes like this you are not immune to defamation and financial loss lawsuits. Most of you reading this comment have no legal reference points anyway and will probably make some dumb assumption comments that I will laugh at and ignore because you obviously have not been in a corporate lawsuit which is way different than small claims court. I had no idea this was happening. These game companies are extorting kids and it needs to stop. Their ineptitude is no excuse.
Not false. Ban evading is against tos , uploading content on twitch and yt while banned on the game is to. Using a companys product for monetary gain that banned you from there service is considered theft . It's really Not hard to understand.
@@OldbonesxD i dont believe its considered theft. Its considered piracy perhaps, but there's a precedent set that ones own personal gameplay is their intellectual property regardless of game licensing.

@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Alive I only take issue with how rare is corrupt. If I was a big shot at rare, I would try to ban cheaters and the like while still being able to treat my player base fairly. So I would make sure that my staff wouldn’t ban the players for personal vendetta’s, and there would be no favoritism. Treating your player base fairly shows that you care, and it builds up your reputation and integrity.

@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Alive You do know that is literally how our program works? If you display good behavior in prison you can get rewarded for that in many different ways. Which includes life sentences. Rare ignores appeals to bans, on the other hand our judicial system doesn't ignore appeals.

Years back I was banned for toxic behavior. My comms were getting toxic and I don't deny that. They gave me a temp ban and I cooled off. The ban ended and I came back to grind out the last of my fishing achievements. Managed to finish them up by 4am feeling awesome. Woke up to Rare having changed their mind about the temp ban, rebanned me with a RedBeard and my whole xbox account with it. I couldn't even use chat support as it was blocked for me. I haven't been able to play Sea of Thieves to this day despite it being my favorite game. While it was my own toxic communications that got me banned in the first place, I still struggle to understand how they think I was ban evading in anyway. Wish they would have a proper appeal system but I guess that ship has sailed for me.
the "I was saving some guy's ship" part brought back a memory of the old days, me and a galleon crew almost sunk this sloop (they attacked first,so fair is fair) we fully repaired their ship, and went at them again, and they had the audacity to talk shit after we literally saved their ship like TWICE before they finally sunk us.

The fact we hold streamers on this stupid pedestal is wild. You air your game to the world? Get sniped then. I've never done it, but i wouldn't hold back. Kind of tired of this streamer bow down era we manifested.
4:30 it is true, you can get banned for "spawn camping" someone if you don't sink their boat immediately. Problem is that they decided what takes too long and what doesn't, so if they just have 1 small hole and you kill them while you wait for the water to fill up (which means youll be killing them over and over for a couple minutes) they can ban you for "spawn camping with no intent to sink the other crew"
They are even trying to mitigate the bans by putting the message to scuttle it now server swaps and barrels flot but they will still ban man children lol
@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_AliveNOOBFACE ISNT THE GUY THAT WAS BANNED FOR STREAMSNIPPING that was theb. You actually didn't watch the video at all but are talking so much shit
Well, another reason for me to avoid any other ship I see in render distance in SoT. To be honest I prefer to chill in Safer Seas most of the time, I only go to High Seas for gold and reputation and for that I do short voyages in the Devil's Roar. I don't want to meet another crew, have an unpleasant interaction and potentially get banned because things might get out of control.
There are probably community managers saying the earth is flat as well. 😂 Community managers don’t work for Rare and they don’t have any power in the slightest
The thing is, teams in these companies, as happens in the corporate world all the time, try to show results by firing people to improve their numbers. In the case of games, with rules and bans, if there are complaints, the more bans you issue, the more results you have to show. In these cases, the company gets hurt in the long run by firing necessary people. Similarly, the game dies slowly because, instead of leaving due to toxicity and cheats, people leave because their friends and content creators no longer play.
My husband and I played since release and stopped in 2021-ish. You haven't missed a single thing with this game. The community is awful, the company doesn't care about the hackers, and needless to say, if you even as much as THINK of voicing your opinion you will be silenced, unless the opinion is a good one. I received a 48 hour mute after a younger teen made fun of cancer. I had JUST lost my mother to cancer 6 months prior, and all I said was that he was an inconsiderable asshole, and that cancer is not a joke at all, and should never be treated as such... - The kid received a little pat on the head and was let off. NEVER received a single consequence, even if me and my crew all reported him. It took him 1 report on me for calling him that, and I was muted for 48 hours. The company is a joke... :/
I think two things can be true here. Theb's ban is probably justified but their support staff is also unhinged and childlike. It's what happens when you hire fans of the game off of twitter and stick them in the community manager positions. Egos.
@@jcrankin2286 You're right, and I don't disagree with that. They do need to improve upon their support staff and learn how to do their job better than they have been the past few years. @yoshyfoods It is true somebody could have just as easily given him the insider info, but we're playing by guilty until proven innocent. There's a decent chance he's just lying to try and cover his own ass a little bit more After he realized how much he screwed up With posting it
There were also moments when you were running around in a fortress, i recall that when i saw your ship by chance, in a server i took a dingy went to your ship (wich was totally undercrewed due to many being in the fortress at the time) and swiped most of your Athenas back in the day and went to the cove found at the other side of the fortress then my friends picked me up when you completed it and left. I wonder what your face was when realized that your load was lightened. Never got banned for that either. It is how the game works. When there is a clear oppertunity and you can pull such a stunt. SoT really encourages you to do it, since it is part of the mechanics of the game. Still took over half the Athenas with me. It were fun days. But when you get older, you aim for more adult content games. All you do then is look back at the fun you had when you were a few years younger, looking for every hard challenge possible to keep your adrenaline pumping.

I dont get how you can get a ban for spawn camping when the game has a "scuttle" option. If your getting slayed over and over and can't win the battle then your ship is done for anyway so the game has a scuttle option to stop them from spawn camping you... devs need to get their shit together
its something that doesnt need to happen, its unsportsmanlike, borderline harassment and probably goes against their code of conduct, just because they offer a solution doesnt make it ok, thats like saying "its fine to try and walk into peoples houses because doors have locks to stop them and if they didnt lock it thats their fault"
and when i say its something that doesnt need to happen, i mean the kind of spawn camping where theyre keeping you afloat and purposefully not sinking you, thats entirely different to boarding and camping till youve sank, thats just a part of the game, the former doesnt need to happen at all, you couldve made a case for it back when barrels didnt spawn from ships after theyd sunk, some crews would spawn camp while they took your supplies, but now there is literally 0 reason to do it other than to be toxic
@etherealpenguin8683 and like I said you have the power to easily stop it from happening. Just like my gun has the power to stop you from breaking into my house. But the fact that you tried to compare a video game to a real life threat is just fucking ridiculous...

No, theb was not banned for real reasons. Giving a lifetime ban for stream sniping without any prewarning is ridiculous. Few weeks of timeout would be much more sensible, especially that he was only 15 at the time and he obviously learned his lesson and did much more good to the game than bad. The extreme toxic behaviour is a joke. People in this game whine for literally anything. Even tho they are reaper and have a million gold worth of loot on their ship, but you are the bad guy for sinking them, because "why can't you just be friendly? OMG you're so toxic, we literally have the alliance offer flag up!!!4!! Go touch grass nerd!" You on a brig go after a sloop? Toxic cause 2v3. You dare to use two guns instead of a sword? Toxic. Eating a lot of food? Toxic cause you're invincible. ??. People are delusional and think sinking other ships in a pirate game is toxic, while that's literally one half of the game. And lastly, advertising a "cheat" client for minecraft is perfectly ok. It is fucking minecraft after all. Cheats are allowed, but if the server owner doesn't want "cheats" - khm mods khm - they can restrict it with in the server settings. These are clearly just trumped up charges from a greedy ass company that has the emotional intelligence of a 5 year old. It's all just grudge, hypocrisy and favoritism.

No, no, and no: He admitted to stream sniping, he has admitted to being toxic to invoke a response, he has admitted to altering game files to get 120 FoV, he has admitted to making several alts to evade his redbeard, he has admitted to making alts to join insiders and then leak NDA material, sure as hell sounds like to me that his banned is justified. Reminder, being 15 when you do stupid shit does not absolve you magically of any consequences, I can understand that applying critical thinking skills is hard for people to do in today's age, but you have to realize that what you do WILL have consequences, especially when you have it all out there for the world to see, especially when you admit to all of it in a single video.
I must say this, but Noobfaces video left out alot of context for Theb, and some of the stuff you said (the NDA stuff) is false. he NEVER signed NDA, the stuff that he leaked was a very terrible change to how weapons are handled and nothing else. its crazy how when he tries to be honest, people like you just open up the law book and hammer on them. theb trying to be better, to do better. to assist people like him with that is the whole point of the judicial system. if noobfaces video left out context, imagine how much context is left out from this clip.
@@captainshelf7 So, one thing out of the list is wrong, sure, but again, if you or I did this, we'd get absolutely fucking hammered with it, and get the same response. The whole point of the judicial system is not to "assist people like him", the judicial system is there to resolve any conflict relating to law, and in theb's case, he violated the Terms of Service multiple times, and willingly continued to do so over a 3 year period, so all the way up until I guess he was 18? Anyone with a modicum of reason would understand that you've essentially dug your own grave by doing exactly that. The rules aren't there for you to bend, you agree to them, you adhere to them, don't continue to break them over a 3 year period, yeah?
those things are so minor so yeah it does absolve you magically of any consequences, it's called growing up. he even apologised, imagine if your parents kept a grudge of all the dumb things you did as a kid, it's so pathetic.
@@Ashen_Night116 the rules are kinda fun to bend though, especially rules that aren't well written and purposely vague. But good news! Theb's RUclips channel is back!
1: He didn't break NDA. 2: All the other things you mentioned besides stream sniping are totally justifiable .So yeah he should be unbanned, simple as.
I wouldn't be suprised if there were some devs that are owners of those patreons/alliance servers. Shady things have been happening with RWT and developers of games. So it's plausible that one or more higher up devs are either part or full owners of some of the patreons...probably doubling their salaries they make by doing so.

Known about this kinda stuff for years. Won't touch that game anymore in fear of losing my account. All it takes is enough ppl to gang up on an account, report it enough and rare won't bat an eye and will ban. Also this dude doesn't realize how bad cheating is in that game, been like that waaaay before hourglass lmao XD been closet cheaters and full frank hackers killing streamers that still play every single day. Great game rare.
The fact that this guy admits that he’s repaired people’s ships to keep killing them is honestly the single most toxic thing I think I’ve heard someone say in regards to a game, if you are truly that nasty and that petty that you would intentionally prolong a persons suffering I truly believe you should be banned just for admitting that, It sucks and no matter what you play wether it’s a pirate game or a shooter or a role playing game, you truly need to rethink some of your morals, just because it’s a game doesn’t mean that the person on the other end is a robot incapable of feeling frustration and sadness, playing a game and having fun should come hand in hand, but when your idea of fun is ruining someone else’s, that’s when you need to genuinely rethink your hobbies and your life, because if your life is so dull that, doing that is the only way for you to be happy, then you need to seek some form of help, and I truly think that a ban is the first step in achieving that for you, good on rare for enforcing bans for toxic behaviour because at the end of the day that is what it is… Toxic. Not only for the victims it affects, but also the people doing it, it’s not healthy either way and allowing people to continue doing this is how toxic communities fester and grow, turning a seemingly innocent and simple game like SOT into a toxic cesspool of people trying to invoke bad reactions from players for their own sense of enjoyment. The fact you sit here on a stream and admit to doing this just goes to show how far down the rabbit hole you have truly fallen and i urge you with every sense of my being to see the situation for what it is and act, there are so many other games out there filled with so many other challenges, secrets, stories and adventures for you to enjoy, and you only live once, so before you leave this world instead of using your time to bring other’s misery, why not try and use that time to fill your heart with wonder and excitement that doesn’t hurt someone else. Look at this comment how you would like, criticise and joke about this point of view all you want, the undeniable truth is plain for all to see, now my views on on the bans may seem controversial to some, however at the end of the day, no one should have to live in misery. So do something about it
One reason why I think noobface was banned. Was because the guy who was streaming the record thing that noobface invaded was doing a big charity stream. As well as noobface and his crewmates was being a bit Toxic. It is just on paper It doesn't look very good.
On a more personal note. Cod lobby trash talk should be a thing that's accepted in some games. pvp style at least. Cheating should be the number 1 priority to ban.

I think anyone that abuses copyright systems on youtube should be punishable by law.
pretty sure they are punishable by law but the law doesn't really care so they never are, could be wrong
It a crime. By law any recording of yourself playing a video game is your totally since all playthrough is unique. No game are allowed to copyright you for playing their game. Only exception is in japan were there no fairuse law

Love how the chat goes from "He's talking out of his ass, he doesn't know anything" to then noobface showing proof of the devs actually being r-words and then the chat is like "..."

@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Alive More proof that you read a comment and didnt underestand anything. Bringing up something not even related to the comments lmao. How they focus more on "toxicity" and ban evasions for bans not associated with cheating, than cheaters is so cringe to me, cheating in sea of thieves is making it unplayable. I can handle the toxicity, i cant handling someone flying and going invisible and being godmode. Rare need to re-evaluate theres priorities.
seriously, rare needs to just patch out whatever exploits hackers are using to gain these advantages. being invisible? figureout why! moonjumping? figure out how. but they DONT.
shoutout to summit for actually sitting down and talking about this. It's very easy to pretend to not see any of this to avoid the shit
The fact we hold streamers on this stupid pedestal is wild. You air your game to the world? Get sniped then. I've never done it, but i wouldn't hold back. Kind of tired of this streamer bow down era we manifested.
I hope more games start doing the same thing. Toxic players, stream snipers, and cheaters have ruined so many games it’s insane.
@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Alive what you're doing is saying "I've never been killed so murders don't exist". How dense are you?
@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Aliveur shit at the game but u talk so much shit and act like u know everything about the game according to ur other comments
what if your spawn camping toxic people? its some times necessary to humble some pirates who have an ego the size of the seas.

@SanityTV_Last_Sane_Man_Alive this guys in all the comments hating hard, did requium hire you?
Well, another reason for me to avoid any other ship I see in render distance in SoT. To be honest I prefer to chill in Safer Seas most of the time, I only go to High Seas for gold and reputation and for that I do short voyages in the Devil's Roar.
I don't want to meet another crew, have an unpleasant interaction and potentially get banned because things might get out of control.
just stop playing the game all together. at least until this shit gets sorted, if it ever does. that's what I'm doing
U wouldn't get banned cause ur shit and would get sunk

There are probably community managers saying the earth is flat as well. 😂 Community managers don’t work for Rare and they don’t have any power in the slightest
The thing is, teams in these companies, as happens in the corporate world all the time, try to show results by firing people to improve their numbers. In the case of games, with rules and bans, if there are complaints, the more bans you issue, the more results you have to show. In these cases, the company gets hurt in the long run by firing necessary people. Similarly, the game dies slowly because, instead of leaving due to toxicity and cheats, people leave because their friends and content creators no longer play.
Summit really doesn’t understand streamer privilege….
Summit being homies with the devs.
Why are there so many bans...
"Neo: there is no spoon"
YES, Theb was one of my favorite creators can't wait to watch this.
theb was banned for real reasons, BUT, reasons that anyone else would get at least ONE warning for, and they didn't warn him EVEN ONCE.
I was literally about to start playing this game however after watching this video I've realized this isn't the game for me
My husband and I played since release and stopped in 2021-ish.

Keep in mind summit. He didn't mention that theb also was banned for leaking insider, screenshots and breaking the nda with the insider program
But as somebody who's been playing since launch and seeing half the drama, it's just tiring seeing people try and defend him, When he is guilty for several reasons
@warlordstillgaming4522 it appears you forgot the part where Theb explained that he decided to leak it *after* his redbeard, and the leak was several years post-ban. He himself isn’t an insider, never was, though he still managed to obtain insider info. Had Theb never been redbearded, I doubt he would have leaked insider info. If anyone’s guilty, I’d wager on the guy who gave Theb said information (an unknown party).
@yoshyfoods It is true somebody could have just as easily given him the insider info, but we're playing by guilty until proven innocent. So unless a developer comes out right and confirm that he has never been a part of the insider program. There's a decent chance he's just lying to try and cover his own ass a little bit more After he realized how much he screwed up With posting it
he never joined insider, so he never signed the nda
Why people even play videogames where you can get banned for shit talking... that shouldnt be a thing in the first place. Remember the old days
Why play games where people think its okay to shit talk in the first place? So glad I grew up sheltered from cod and halo. Shows me just how immature most people are when they insult each other. And no this isnt a question im just stating my opinion.

I have an idea. Duo sloop, initiate a naval fight. Fire at them normally, repair normally, but go board and repair your hits on them in ur free time. Imagine someone lighting your ship up, you hear the splash… “PIRATES I’M HERE TO HELP REPAIR” he pulls out a board and fixes a hole he put there. Like what a flex. I’m so good I got to help you beat me.
I once got a toxic ban for hiding on a galleons back deck and then the crew would put their treasure in the captains quarters and I would run in and drop it all in the water as they were sailing. They got to the outpost and had nothing they were pissed 😂
Evil
This is exactly what is happening in Star Citizen. I was banned for attacking you because you are a streamer and they favor you. Amazing to see you say everything I have said and you let Berks get me insta banned.
Played SoT a few years ago, had no fun. Came back years later, they added 2 new guns, still no fun. Now it all makes sense lol
Its because the Devs are incompetent and unimaginative the content is Hella dry only fun this is PvP and even then rare curb stomp it buy needing certain elements of it
No, theb was not banned for real reasons.
Go touch grass nerd!"
You on a brig go after a sloop?
Im saving this, its incredibly well said!
There's low levels of incompetence, and then there's the SOT devs that make those levels sound like compliments. Funny.
You can't ban people for "toxicity". It's too gray, and in a competitive PVP game it's nearly impossible to have no toxicity... If I don't use cheats or stream snipe and only utilize the game's mechanics, how is than ban able? I'm literally just playing the game that YOU made the rules for!!!!!
Edit: Ik Rare can ban whoever they want because it's their game, but they are not clear about why and barely provide any guidelines.
Toxicity is a perfectly fine reason to ban somone, but you have to give examples as to what is considered "toxic". can't just make it up as you go.
like u said, they can ban whoever they want, but taking down someones youtube channel over it is childish and likely illegal
@@jurb417 yes, but they doesn't have examples. Rare currently gives no warning, instead preferring to insta ban without saying exactly they did wrong. and for them to just say "Toxicity" is a stupid response that doesn't answer anyone's questions.

The entire video he repeats over and over about the wrong things he did and then at the end he says he doesn’t know why he is perma banned. That video isn’t a reason why he should be unbanned, it’s a video on why he should remain banned. He’s clearly not an intelligent individual.
Whenever I get spawn camped I usually just say "quit camping and loot the ship already" and they never really do it so I can only assume they don't want my loot
4:30 YES IT IS TRUE BUDDY LMAOOO
I know people that have been yellowbearded for it but can it be a redbeard??
4:32 The only time I’ve been banned on anything was on SoT for bucketing a sloop, and the only reason was because my crew was selling a fotd stack at reapers and didn’t want him to come back
I watched that video and the creator leaves out a lot of specific and incredibly important details and many facts in order to fulfil their bias causing there to be a massive amount of misinformation about the entire situation within that video. Good thing i seen this video because i just seen this game on the playstation store and was thinking of buying it but not anymore.
I assume the rip 24hrs thing was proof he stream sniped cause thats meta info
Anyone saying theb needs to be unbanned isn't right, Noob 100% should be unbanned but theb? No, no, and no:
He admitted to stream sniping, he has admitted to being toxic to invoke a response, he has admitted to altering game files to get 120 FoV, he has admitted to making several alts to evade his redbeard, he has admitted to making alts to join insiders and then leak NDA material, sure as hell sounds like to me that his banned is justified.

I wouldn't be suprised if there were some devs that are owners of those patreons/alliance servers. Shady things have been happening with RWT and developers of games. So it's plausible that one or more higher up devs are either part or full owners of some of the patreons...probably doubling their salaries they make by doing so.

At this point it's really starting to feel like this should be a legal issue, they're literally removing customer's products for no reason without refunds or reimbursement. Gamers need more rights man this is insane.
The fact that this guy admits that he’s repaired people’s ships to keep killing them is honestly the single most toxic thing I think I’ve heard someone say in regards to a game, if you are truly that nasty and that petty that you would intentionally prolong a persons suffering I truly believe you should be banned just for admitting that,
It sucks and no matter what you play wether it’s a pirate game or a shooter or a role playing game, you truly need to rethink some of your morals, just because it’s a game doesn’t mean that the person on the other end is a robot incapable of feeling frustration and sadness, playing a game and having fun should come hand in hand, but when your idea of fun is ruining someone else’s, that’s when you need to genuinely rethink your hobbies and your life, because if your life is so dull that, doing that is the only way for you to be happy, then you need to seek some form of help, and I truly think that a ban is the first step in achieving that for you, good on rare for enforcing bans for toxic behaviour because at the end of the day that is what it is… Toxic.
So do something about it
so cheat not banned no cheat fat ban makes sense
One reason why I think noobface was banned. Was because the guy who was streaming the record thing that noobface invaded was doing a big charity stream. As well as noobface and his crewmates was being a bit Toxic. It is just on paper It doesn't look very good.

On a more personal note. Cod lobby trash talk should be a thing that's accepted in some games. pvp style at least. Cheating should be the number 1 priority to ban.
