Hi Vlad. Your Subaru is very impressive off road. For what type of vehicle it is. You were in the trans Alta river valley area. Ghost PlUZ zone. It’s great that we have areas like this to explore/drive and camp. What you maybe don’t know is the trails in waipiours used to be 2-3 times bigger. (10 yrs ago) With lots of different water crossings. This is the trail with the only legal water crossing left. All other trails have been closed down or bridges put in place where there was a water crossing. And for one reason. We can’t drive up or down the rivers. Only cross it. Now I appreciate the footage you have crossing the river is because in the winter the entry and exit point can change. Put please please edit this video. Show you entering and exiting the river. Not driving down it. You did nothing wrong. But the government body that manages this area. Gets hot real quick if people are deemed driving up and down the river. (You weren’t, but it looks like you were due to the entry and exit points with the ice) And they will either close this area down. Or build a bridge. I hope to see you out on the trails someday. That Subaru is awesome 👊
Thanks for the information! I am aware that you're not allowed to drive up and down the river. I only used the river to cross it. I exited the river at the same place I came. I was just following the trail, I encountered a path that crossed the waterway diagonally rather than directly.
I like your videos and your Subaru. I have the exact same one in black. 😊I also think I live close by to where you make your videos. Stop by Lake Louise one day and look for your twin😂

Great car you won’t regret getting! This is unfortunate I hope you have 2.5 turbo at least it’s pretty fun my Wilderness goes 0-100 in 5.8 that’s quick
Does anyone know for sure If the AWD system in the Impreza RS, is the same exact system as in the Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek? Minus the X-Mode of course.
Thanks so much for the support!! I’m an off-road channel dedicated to pushing the Subaru Outback Wilderness to its limits! Come join me on my adventures and would appreciate if you subscribe it’s will help a lot! :) All automatic Subarus (recent models at least, with the exception of the CVT WRX) have the same AWD system, it's an electronically controlled clutch system that usually splits power 60/40 front and rear, until a tire slips then it sends power to the axle with the non-slipping tires. The CVT WRX has a slightly different but similar design. The biggest differences are in Subaru's manual transmission vehicles, which use a viscous coupling (except the STI, see below). Alternating plates spun by front and rear axles in a specially designed fluid that hardens under shear. Under normal conditions its a true 50/50 split and the plates rotate at the same speed. When a tire slips the difference in speed between the plates causes shear and the fluid hardens, causing power to be directed to the non slipping axle. All mechanical, no electronic control involved. This is the AWD system that made Subaru famous. The STI has a driver controlled center differential, which allows the driver to determine how much power goes to the front and rear wheels (within a limit) and I believe acts much like the electronic systems when a tire slips to direct power where V needed.
Nice video, I just saw your subscriber count and can't believe it's not higher! This is some quality footage and production. I will say though sometimes it can be nice to hear the nature, but the soundtracks are nice too...Idk how to balance it, maybe at times decrease the music lvl and increase the sound of video footage? Just something I thought I'd mention I like the soundtrack but sometimes I'd like to hear the nature more. But great videos keep em up!!

@@Vlad_tyy that why i fell in love with the crosstrek and now this outback wilderness. The Tire carcasse of real Winter-Tires is too Stiff for uneven Offroad incl. gravelroad incl. snow track on Gravel roads and icy Gravel roads. I chose this winter tiers because I mostly drive in mixed conditions 30% slush, 30% snow, 20% ice, 20% dry 😅 I appreciate the information! Thanks for the feedback
The car looks great, unfortunately after following the Subaru forum and the opinions of people from all over the world, most of them from the US and Australia, I must say that I have not seen so many problems with new ones on any other forum as on the Subaru outback forum, serious problems such as dying batteries after 2 years, cracking windows already in the first months, cracking eco-leather on seats, collapsing armrests, problems display and main computer, just one big tragedy and this applies to new models, I wanted to buy it, but I will wait until they start producing this model in Japan, then maybe the quality will return
Well it’s not necessary true and I believe it’s just the people who has problems are more vocal on the internet and it’s not including everything to the account, when you look in general there is no better car for this price and it’s better in everything by far then all the competitors including reliability.
Subaru is trying to sell the Outback since years with the same idea of dreaming the wildness and the outdoor life. Unfortunately here in Europe we can’t go in such a place with a car or a motorcycle, it is alllllll forbidden! So have fun guys until you can!
Everyone - PLEASE stop driving your cars in rivers where fish, wildlife call that their homes. How would you like it if someone drove a car through your house.
