I’m a woman and my mom is the single mother in this story. She did the exact same thing and tried to justify her actions by telling me my dad didn’t spend enough time with her. “He was spending too much time with his friends. “
I got so angry with my mom, and told her just because he was hanging out with his friends DOESNT make it okay to cheat and ruin our family.
The most infuriating thing about the whole situation is my dad blaming himself for her cheating.

i told my wife there was no way she was taken my son from me, and she didnt, she cheated on me when he was 6 and he and i left and he lived with me til he graduated high school then he decided he wanted to move in with his friends. it did help that while i was at work 2 times he ran off on her and she got charged for child endangerment and luckily he didnt end up missing or dead. was a good think after i left her my mother was able to watch him until i got off work after he got out of school. she never once gave me a dime to help me for school cloths his food or anything else. did it all on my own.

I've got half siblings ( same father different marriage) and the crap that came spewing out of their mouths over the years let me know that they knew nothing about our father and their mother packed their heads full of lies. The divorce happened in 1970. It's selfishness and lack of accountability.

I spent 30 mostly miserable years in the dating world before finding my wife. Here is my advice.
1. See what kind of relationship a woman has/had with her father. Women with good relationships tend to have good relationships with men. Women with bad ones are a nightmare.
2. Keep it lite on a first date. Coffee or something similar. You pay the bill. If she can not say thank you…NEVER CALL HER AGAIN. 60% of the women I went out with were so I’ll mannered/entitled that they could not even do that.

My bio. mom since day one told me my Dad doesnt love me. Nearly everytime I got to see him on his visitation she'd "remind me" that if he says he loves me that it was a lie...as a four to five year old I believed her, so anytime I felt myself loving my Dad I tried to push those bonding feelings down because I didnt want to get hurt. But by age 11 a tiny bit of light and common sense broke through and through my Father's actions I knew that she was lying....cant tell you how hard and eye opening it was when I INITATED the confrontation on my own accord at that age...the look on my Mom's face after I told her I knew she was lying about this, and that it didnt matter if she didnt like him because I was gonna love my father regardless was so surreal. It was of anger, betrayal,....and most importantly defeat!...She didnt even have anything to say...Didnt even try to deny it...Many lies started to surface after that

As a divorcee it took me a long while 2 get over it. That was over 10yrs ago. 2 yrs after r initial separation and divorce she wanted me back. I openly refused. Da men she kept running n2 were straight playing her and she was struggling financially. She then realized it was easier just 2 b w/me and work on da marriage.
And i almost ended myself during that time. Took a bunch of pills thinking it was gonna b over as well as drinking a bottle of Cognac. Luckily idk that i took muscle relaxers so i woke up strapped down n a hospital lbs

I had a similar situation. Learning about Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) helped a lot, so I could stop playing my ex's games and establish 50-50 custody early on while she was distracted love-bombing her new supply. I didn't ask her who it was or how I could have done better after I realized what was going on. I pushed the divorce process forward, as she dragged her feet. When she tried to hoover, I just stated that this is what she wanted. There are several channels about NPD, but DSD (Dad Surviving Divorce) was the best fit for my situation at the time.
Bro same situation found out a yr ago and happy I left her. Now dating an awesome woman that doesn't have mental issues. Sadly my new girl was experiencing the same thing I was she had a narcissist as a husband so we both healed and found each other
I did the same, except the genders were swapped in our situation lol once the divorce was finalized and we had the paperwork protecting everyone, it took a few years but things are more than cordial now. I'm glad you were smart though, I'm all too aware of how few and far between ex-wives like me are :/ NPD is also difficult to deal with, especially in that situation...you have my respect, I'm glad you and your kid(s) got out of that situation. I’m going through this now. I’m copping with this travesty first by forgiving her, no closure, and not taking it personal. I don’t tell a lot of people what happened. Funny but sad my children are grown now and they still don't talk to me because of how there mother, aunty and grandma feels about me. They all still live together since they left. Wow this one hurts.
I went though this with my ex-wife and son. However there as also physical abuse involved. Sadly it took me 7 years to prove it and in the end I got full custody of my son and now we are very happy. My ex-wife has not been in our lives ever since she found out she had to pay child support. That was 6 years ago.
Imagine moving back in with your parents at 40 years old.

I'm from a family of immigrants where marriage is like the most important thing in the world, but they basically had arranged marriages and don't know a thing about the modern dating culture or online culture so they always pressure your boy to get married even though I'm young asf..this and other things like your channel really helped me understand because even though I had a dad in my life he wasn't really there for this kind of stuff so I had to basically learn by getting dumped or breaking up with girls and seeing the signs. This is my story. I got mad a lot and lashed out at her for what she did/was doing. Because of that, she’s going for full custody right now stating I have “mental health issues”. Not like I went through trauma and emotional/mental abuse or anything. 5 mos into our divorce and I’m in over $10k fighting for my kids already. $10k I do not have now that she left me with the house and bills. Not to mention I have not missed one day/event or anything for my kids. All she does is party and drink. Think the courts would acknowledge that? Hell no.
That's why you have honest conversations in front of your kids.

Idk how women can just give their bodies away to a man they’re not with. For me it’s extremely important. If I’m sleeping with you then we must be in a relationship. The problem with this is that men need to get ahead of the situation. When he found out she cheated he should of talk to a lawyer. Work to get custody. The laws are slowly changing so men in some cases are able to get there children, and have there wife paying child support. It's all in how we move, but if we can get proof and show what they do you can win.

If a woman wants her man to stay home more, just talk to him. And how about you increase your niceness and affection towards him.
I assure you many women act as if men are just complex and not understanding when it's not that way at all. Relationships have rough patches and sometimes men are dumb and sometimes people get wrapped up in their own minds and fall off and need their partner to help them back to where they fell from.
I bet you, another woman would be waiting for her husband to come home with something nice on when he comes back from a hard day of work and surprise him and ask him is it possible for him to make arrangements for more time, date night or such and he'd just say yes. If my wife asked me for more time, I'd literally try to find a new job to give it or rearrange things or if I was the frequent trip work guy, I'd just bring her with me. There's things that can be done but these women always want to resort to the worst possible thing.
