I found this band from the suggestion of my smart and beautiful Therapist, K( I hope I can say this?!)(K probably will not see this, so I think we and I am all good!) I have nerve damage in my fingers and arm on my left side from a brain injury. but she is so dang smart with exercises and ways to trick my brain to get my arm and fingers to move! She suggested that I listen to Lake street Dive. she is amazing to work with, so I will never forget her and this Summer and now I will never forget this band and I will always associate their songs with her and the time I have been able to spend with her since she has taken my fingers that were clinched up in my palm and my elbow that was locked up to freed up and starting to move! I hope to get to see the band this Friday, but my Left leg is effected with limited movement and balance too .Thank you, K, for the work and company, and Lake Street Dive For the great Lyrics and beautiful lyrics and singing, and the music that inspires me to continue on my healing and recovery!
