Maybe they thought the hood insulator is more worth it than the engine cover. Actually it is better without engine plastic cover because you can see if there is any oil leak cover
what really is worrying with mazda cars is that they generate rust easily in about 2 or 3 years. not sure about those in Malaysia, but alot of owners in west keep complain about this issue. what i dont like about this car tho, is the value. with that price, they still not able to include center console and electronic parking brakes. at 1st i thought, wow, 4 disc brakes, should have electronic parking brakes.. but, nope... and too bad, no center console means no usb ports for rear passengers. oh well, what a bummer

Personally if you can afford Mazda 2 full spec, why not just top up another 40-50k for a Mazda 3 sedan or liftback? The ride not just superior but the overall internal & external is better
the real automatic transmission on its own would sell me this car. this car is completely forgotten in europe due to its emissions and its being replaced by... rebadged toyota yaris/vitz that is also called the mazda2
With its price and specs, not worth for it. Plus it's not practical. This is a car for those who just want to let other knows he or she is driving a mazda.
People who drive Mazda doesnt care about space or practicality. Is all about the driving experienced, feedback, handling of the car, etc...They may hv a normal SUV as a working car but such car they may used it as a weekend car to enjoy especially around the mountain area..
The rear side looks outdated like old saga, not appealing at all , even vios is more striking, 100k for this ? Nah no thanks, proton s70 or vious/city looks way better

Stop consuming all the goodwills you've build up over the last 30 years, go back to your drawing room and start improving & innovating again before it's too late. Chinese car are a formidable competitor and it's already eaten a big chunk of the Japanese's cake.

@@azizi__ do you need a lot of space? If not, I'd go for it. Mazda 3 sedan (new and used) is also a good purchase with all things considered.
@@azizi__ yeah it is. Full tank can go like 600+ with less traffic. Downside is the space, the back seat area is small and so is the boot space.
