- Learn how to disable Facebook Messenger notifications on your iPhone or iPad.
You can disable Facebook Messenger notifications on your phone. If you don't want to be bothered by the notifications, simply disable them from your iPhone.
How To Disable Facebook Messenger Notifications:
Go to your phone's settings
Scroll down and find the Messenger app
Tap on Facebook Messenger
Tap on Notifications
Tap on the slider icon next to Allow Notifications to turn off Messenger notifications
That's it!

Great help 😂try to say it 2x that shutting off " allow notifications " you will still receive messages... like try to say it in the beginning... bc I thought I shut it off and erased it 😅
How do you stop the vibrations though, I dont mind sounds, just dont want vibrations jut for FB

AND within Facebook Messenger I have turned off all notifications and settings.
I have multiple Dept. of Veterans Affairs accounts and th is a nightmare. They change the menu options constantly too to get people to waste more and MORE time! I have used it since 2009 and I am abandoning it shortly.
I deleted the darn app yet I still get notifications lol. Looks like they have messenger built into facebook this time? 🤷
On the new iphones they don';t have Messenger, it is the biggest nuisance ever!!
