Thanks mate. That's exactly what I was chasing. I was doing it with a straight blade and not putting everything out to one side, this made the blade kick up high on the side I was trying to get the pin in. Really appreciate you doing that. Cheers. Ado.
Adrian, if it makes you feel better, I was doing the same thing today. Thanks Graderman! That’s exactly what I needed. Your videos have helped me a lot.
@@billkerwin8441 Yeah the "H" series link bar behaves differently to the older "G" series machines. I always look for a place way from any work that I'm doing, so I don't chop it up. Where abouts are you based mate? I'm in Emerald Queensland Australia
I did this yesterday to dump the gravel off the blade just like you point out here. I went to turn the circle while I was in the banking position. Everything was off the ground and suspended in the air but when I turned the circle something torqued up and I broke the right lift cylinder rod and everything came crashing down. Quite an event haha. Came on here looking for videos as to why that would have happened because I don’t see how anything could have torqued up.
Sheldon yes when I move my saddle out to bank position I push down on left blade lift while lift up a little on right side moving the saddle out to the bank position.
Graderman 140M I thought that was the case. I probably need to use a bit more finesse to avoid creating minor damage on the road surface. You suggestion of banking to dump the loose gravel and material on the top of the blade is excellent and I will incorporate it in my end of day routine.
Well we don't have 1 on that level of technology but just learned how to kick the blade in but will work on how too kick out appreciate the info.

oh wow that's no good never heard of that happening before.
Graderman, when you move your blade to the bank position, do you need to keep some downward pressure on one side of your blade to index the saddle?
Sheldon yes when I move my saddle out to bank position I push down on left blade lift while lift up a little on right side moving the saddle out to the bank position.
Graderman 140M Is your blade making contact with the ground as you do this?
Sheldon yes it is your left side will always be on the ground.

Thank you for the great info!
Your welcome thanks for watching.
Another fine video graderman I’ve always wondered how that worked thank you
