This is absolutely helpful on my survival world... Guys if your iron golem is spawning outside you need to surround the farm using oak leaves or any kind 20x20

Tip:Use leaves when your building the 5 by 5 platform where the villagers are standing on so the golems don't spawn in there

I just finished making this in Pocket Edition Creative. I decided to add four zombies on each side directly in the line of sight of the villagers. Does this increase the spawn rate of the iron golems like I intended, or just give style points for scaring them?

I finally built it today, and it works!
I just had to make sure that all the villagers were linked to the beds and their fletching work stations.
Edit: I also built it in the sky with leaf blocks, dirt, and slabs on top of the dirt.
Edit 2: this worked for me on the switch

ive build 3 iron farms (on mobile) and this is the only one that worked

Guys i know why its not working you need to extend the spawning area of iron golem by add and extra layer i mean the breadth by 1 block then after you extended it starts working
Does this work only with fletching tables or arr barrels also enough? I want to make this in my world but finding flint for fletching table is a hassle so i intend to use barrels

What platform u were on is it Xbox, pc, Playstation or mobile
Bc on mobile devices works on pocket edition
If its spawning cats secure 10 cats around the farm. If its spawning outside, spawnproof or move the farm to an ocean or away from villages/ravines. Remove any nitwit (green shirted villagers). Your also on bedrock, correct?

Tame 10 cats and place them around the farm, make sure your farm isnt near caves or ravines, place leaves if golems spawn outside

It should be 20 villagers in total 😶 and try covering any caves near your iron farm with slabs
Someone pls help if you can. There's this farmer villager who isn't turning into a Fletcher any idea why or how to fix it?
maybe he is already attached to a workstation or a bed nearby. So make sure there is none within 100 blocks range. Also if it is a green shirt villager then he will not convert.

Make a super iron farm for pocket edition and a gold xp farm also
A faster iron farm just requires more villagers, as for the goldfarm... Create a 20x20 portal. Then add a lava with doors to light the portal with a 0 tick observers below to increase the lighting speed. Add a water or snow powder on a dispenser to turn off the portal, this dispenser is also what you use to turn the farm on/off. This farm is expandable 5 portals 10 or 20 works just fine... Just lags alot
