I have to say that inventory/logistics model they have is pretty slick. Even if, like me, you don't usually play with weights and volumes enabled it's still useful. I've known you got more resources if you salvaged blocks and deconstructed them but I've never taken the time to figure out exactly how much more. Now I don't have to.
As a sidenote I usually just dump the whole blocks into the factory. I don't know if you get as many resources as you would if you deconstructed the blocks first. But adding blocks to the factory also reduces the time it takes for the factory to build a ship/base. So for me the reduced time is worth any lost resources. Especially on the common resources.
One of the starts of reforged has a dead planet start… challenging plus the no mining is good. Exp is really hard to come by though with no bugs to kill.

@@Rakoona I've done a few videos and streams in the passed, but the amount of bugs and issues the game has makes it really hard to do content, but I enjoy it off-camera.
@@ReachGaming sweet! That's cool with me! That's why I record, so I can edit out when there are bigger bugs! Or sometimes leave it in and turn it into something funny :D

Good series Rakoona, I still have problems connecting the toolbar, namely I cannot access the multi tool anymore
Thanks! Have you seen the Menu Explained at around 3:00? It explains how to connect and transfer stuff from a distance. Make sure you have wifi! And if you toolbar completely dissapeared, you might have hit F6 by accident. Press it again and you'll see the different type of views.

Just watched this and good video, thank you. Question for you, can you drop parts, resources and whole blocks into the blueprint factory without selecting a ship to build? If you have selected a ship to build and put resources into t he factory, can you change your mind and not build that ship and apply the resources towards another ship?
Hey! Sorry for the late reply! And no, you need to have a ship selected to dump ressources in the blueprint factory. But the ressources can also go towards any ship afterwards! Sometimes it's even good to have a "Factory Dump" blueprint just so you can dump all you want in there!
@@Rakoona No problem on the timing, my question got answered. But I'm probably being an idiot here, but what do you mean a "Factory Dump" blueprint? Would that be like something on the blueprint factory on Steam of just a giant ship that requires enormous amounts of blocks? Also what happens to the excess resources when you build something and have leftover resources still in the factory, do they stay there? This game looks great and as soon as I get some time to myself I want to play it, so now I'm just trying to understand.
@@lostscotsman When you've reached above the needed requirement, you won't be able to add unless you have another blueprint that needs even more. As for the leftovers, they will stay there for the next ship.
