The thing with the Citigolf is you don’t need a lot of power...... The lack of weight makes it pretty quick, so when you do have lots of power, it is crazy!

I used to own a red mk1 1.3 and I miss that car. The downs side of the golf mk1 is that every time at the township it was broken into. The door handles were weak but because I had security measures they will always fail to take it.
Just don't try turning a bumpy corner..those tyres are ridiculous 😂

Finally a south african doing great reviews. Absolutely love this MK1. You should do 1 atleast once a month if you get enough people willing to show their cars.

Excellent power .i have a CTI with abf stock motor making 125kw in CPT on mp9 .When you in CPT i will show you a collection of MK1 NA golfs that makes crazy power and tuff to find clean mk1 golfs today. Stunning look after her.

This is just awesome. I run a stock abf in my mk2 jetta and its a right blast. This one though sounds absolutely nuts.
