Thank you for posting this, as a Jamie main Naruo is a huge source of inspiration - can't wait to practice his techniques tomorrow!

Why do all the pros keep perfect parrying the DI and DIing back? Isn't it better just to DI without the scaling of perfect parry?

I’m too much of a noob to be able to even understand what you’re talking about 😂😅

Presumably because PP into DI causes a ton of Drive differential. You gain a lot of drive and then take a lot away from the opponent, and a lot of high level players would take a damage cut for better drive management unless a kill confirm is on the line.

Based on my experience with the game, I think it is closer to the hand. I mean the button in arcade stick

@@sf6288 its because of drive gauge. you gain a lot and take away a lot. he's also talking about why do people perfect parry instead of drive impact.

In addition to killing the opponent's drive, sometimes doing a normal DI back can get you killed

If it hasn't changed from yesterday's ranking, might still be Akutagawa - referring to 1 day ago post (Akutagawa/Manon vs. Moke/Chun-Li)

I know Naruo is the day one Jamie but I personally think Daigo's Jamie is way more fun to watch
