Another 1st place! I'm very happy I don't have to extended sustain glitch the main riff. Thanks charters. Anyway, this song has a couple tough squeezes. The 1st can be tough without good whammy. The 2nd activation back end is pretty tight, I even dropped ticks to hit it. The 3rd activation is quite annoying to time correctly. You want it to end right after hitting the RB sustain so you can get as much whammy as possible for the next activation. I ended up missing 200 on the 4th activation that I normally hit; I can squeeze in another note at the back end. 353K is definitely possible.

If you look past the synth being charted as guitar for most of the song, this is another fun as hell chart. The guitar and synth solo back to back as well as the song just being a bop makes this one of my favourites in the game.

Guitar Hero has always charted the most prominent parts of the songs as "Guitar". So since the synth is an extremely dominant aspect of this song, they have you play those parts on guitar.
@@NexusKin I was always in favor of using the song to make fun charts, not using the charts to show who was playing what in the song.
The synth is what makes this chart so fun. Without it the song's pretty boring to play.
They used strums because tap (slider) chords weren't built into the engine. They never were, even in GH:WOR. That's why Bohemian Rhapsody had the piano charted as strums.

The only Van Halen song i recognized from my childhood, and it isn't bad, cause this song is great haha. Great job on getting other 1st place. Also, the whammy on the keyboard makes it sound hilarously bad lol.

Fun fact: during the synth parts where you hold down the green sustained note, you can hold down all the other notes and just strum and it will still play the chords.
Yeah, it's clear I don't know much Van Halen... AT ALL. But this song rocks! Wish something like this was in Rock Band 3! Would be fun on Keys!

The mocap for this game is amazing! even down to Eddie smiling at David's antics! A shame it isn't as polished as GH:5, David particularly seems a bit robotish and low texture, but the drum-animations makes up for it. Alex did an AMAZING job at playing everything in the mocap so every hit matches the master recording. Of course he's an amazing drummer so it probably wasn't hard. One detail I particularly like is that his hi-hat technique shows all the depth and weight it takes to get the accent and it melts into this weird state of partially making one believe that the sound is coming from what he's doing in game.
Not as polished as 5 because it was meant to come out before GH5
You can see it’s completely World Tour based, the only new part is the front cover.
You know I love hearing what happens in the studio after the fadeout. What's interesting to me as a drummer is how Alex repeated part of that iconic outtro roll snare snare kick kick pattern at the very end again which you could not hear before due to the fadeout!! Pretty cool!
