This concept is very impressive! Darn, I actually feel really bad for both Shinako and Sonoko.
You know what I'm thinking about this?
Since people now know of Sonoko's criminal record, if any students happened to witness her attacking Shinoko, they'd talk to her later in school and more people would be around her to protect her, plus the Journalist would find out since he is a mentor with the police being close to him. That would mean, naturally, that the police would share they saw her acting out again and he'd have even less validation for the trial. And I bet the reason Joikichi wasn't too included is because he isn't really into her, Sonoko was just using him as an investigation pawn, so he wouldn't mind the news since there wasn't any friendship or relationship bonding.

Additional info I decided to make up because why not.
After Shinako was saved thanks to the police and Sonoko was arrested. Shinako was filled with guilt and still pondering if she did the right thing. She still get's praised at school with a high reputation but she still can't help but feel guilty. She wonder's if she should continue her interest in Journalism. About a week later still deciding what to do, she receives news about Ryoba's trial. Knowing herself, there was no way she can't write and article about this for the school newspapers. So while still feeling discourage she writes it down anyways. When she finished, she decide to look at her article, she realizes how much she still enjoyed writing it and on top of that still see's the effort. The next day after publishing the article, Once again she get's praised for it. It was at that moment she realized, just because her Idol turned out to be the person she didn't think she was doesn't mean she doesn't have a passion for Journalism. Although her Idol was the main reason she got into Journalism in the first place, She realizes that does not mean she has to give up on it. She still clearly enjoys it and she continuous it.
Later on, Shinako would have a successful career. Writing newspaper's, printing articles doing Journalism and etc. Despite the incident a few years ago, she is living her dream. By that point she has learned to completely forget about Sonoko and focuses more on herself. She also has an extremely high reputation in the area that she is in. Making lot's of money at the same time. In the end, She is happy.
She has also became good friend with Ryoba. They talk with eachother from time to time. Ryoba is aware of Shinako's reputation and occupation which means that Ryoba can make sure no Journalist tries to mess up Ayano like she was when she was a student by asking help from Shinako. Which can be a reason on why no Journalist come's to Akademi in 20XX mode. Just a thought.
Also, even if Sonoko was eliminated differently. my headcanon is that Shinako would still end up having a successful career.
If Sonoko was eliminated peacefully, Sonoko would become a detective and work with the police and Shinako would be successful at Journalism.
If Sonoko was killed, Shinako would be saddened and discouraged at first, but still gets a successful career.
If Sonoko reputation was broken "The normal way" or arrested by framing. Similar to the paragraph above basically. Shinako get's discouraged but becomes successful.
Anyways, that's all. I really like Shinako so I figured I would do this lol.
That is such a great concept!! I would add her being called to the principals office where we would get a cutscene of the rival reputation after they get send to the counselor and Sonokos would automatically drop to 0% causing her to get expelled and having police involved due to her criminal records. Which would make her move to another city because of people being scared of her and treating her like a criminal

I would add this, Theres a chance that Shinako would be surrounded by students if this:
One student came across Sonoko attacking Shinako or The news station would report the supposed attack
I'd feel they would be a couple more steps to make Shinako despise Sonoko, with acquiring her diary being either the first or last step. But overall it's a good concept video :D

Edit: Not gonna lie, kind of wanted to see Sonoko beat up Shinako and get arrested and have her career ruined.
Plot Twist : Sinoko accidentally strangles Shinako to death and the Police arrive at the scene just in time and tase and arrest Sinoko and send her to court and the Court gives her a life sentence

Ayano Aishi and Osana Najimi are in love with Taro Yamada. Ayano has decided to kill Osana. Osana to find out who Ayano really is and why she killed her. She tries to understand her life and how she became a killer. She almost falls in love with the woman but comes to terms that Ayano is a monster. She now helps Ayano move forward and let her child free from their grandmothers hands.
Ayano Aishi is the direct descendant of witches. She killed her mother and two sisters. She grew up in foster care. She has always hated men but meets Osana who takes her in. She raises her daughter and eventually starts to feel something for her. Ayano is given a gift that she is to use once a year to save a life. So, she begins her journey with this task in mind. Her journey is a journey of self-discovery and freedom. She starts to realize what she used to feel. She started to feel, love. In the end it is a battle between the fact that she wants to be loved, and that she has her own place in this world. It shows her true self.
Osana Najimi is an android who carries an AI that contains so much data that she cannot remember her own self. Osana was built to work for the government. They took her and trained her. She is very strong. She has taken orders but she is now trying to decide what she really wants. She has been programmed to obey people but not love. She decides she wants to love and she starts to understand her life and her choices.
Taro Yamada is a power hungry CEO. He is very smart. He has just bought an island and he wants to make it his own and destroy anything that stands in his way. He wants to win and does not care what it takes to do so. He is also part human and part demon. He is something like a wizard but has rules. In the end he takes on the evil witch in a duel. She turns herself into a monster in order to fight him and he defeats her.
They fight but he lets her live. He lets her live because he feels that she has a right to life. She later marries Ayano's son, who is an abandoned child. She becomes his mother and has him back and they live happily ever after.
Production
The leading roles were both given to deaf actress, Ai Kakuma. Kouki Uchiyama had the role of the doctor, which was played by Kaori Momoi in the original series. A well known composer who was a part of the original series, Tarō Yamada, was in charge of the music. Tsutchie performed the opening theme, which is well known in Japan. Masashi Hamauzu, who was the main writer of the original series also wrote one song for this series. All of the music was done by the amazing Naoki Sato.
From the beginning to the end, this film has only one enemy and that is censorship. Originally, there was an original manga that went by the same name. For this reason, it was called, Hataraku Maou-tachi.
The Anime Adaptation
While the original series had only lasted for 12 episodes, this movie has a very short runtime of only six episodes. The creators of the remake decided to get rid of a lot of the religious overtones that the original series had. The plot of the anime is much more ambitious than that of the original series. To have to create a whole story just to fill out the required number of episodes is a bit much.
The developers of this new version of the movie wanted to get rid of the extreme gore that occurred in the original series. So, there is no reference to graphic, graphic sexual acts in the remake. However, the original anime contained a lot of supernatural events that included demonic possession, killing children, and murder. The original Anime was a bit too heavy for me personally. I prefer a lighter, more innocent type of show. This remake is a good choice, but if you are looking for a similar experience, then go watch the original series.
The Movie Flops With Audiences
The DVD release of this movie did not come with an English dubbed version. When it did come out, they had this image on the packaging.
The actual translation is:
"Melt my heart."
There is nothing about this title that is helpful. However, when looking at the reviews, it seems to be universally hated. Many people in the online community claimed that the film had too many plot holes. There was a lack of compelling characters in the remake. It was a bit much to be honest. If you enjoy supernatural stories and sex, then this is definitely a movie for you. If you are looking for a story that has a lot of depth, you probably should skip this one.
